here’s a sneak peek to chapter two.
“Isn’t she a gem Jannie?” Jack whispered into the soft atmosphere created in their living room. With Janet and their new addition to the family residing on the singular loveseat. Jack is propped with the palm of his hand onto the loveseat’s thick handle. His eyes relaxed into pure adoration for his two ladies.
Janet’s eyes are lowered onto her babe, her lips stretched out into a big smile. “She’s beautiful,” her lips whistled in awe. How can Janet and Jack not be over the moon for their baby?
As if the baby picked up on the atmosphere, she began to fuss. Prying her small lips open to screech. All while her eyes crinkled in a tight close.
Immediately, Jack let go of his stance and rushed over to the kitchen. “I’ll get the patches!” he yelled as if an emergency were taking place. As Janet rose her eyes to look at her husband leaving the living room, she snickered to herself.
“Your father is whipped for you,” Janet spoke into the space Jack was in a few seconds ago. At another high cry, she moves her eyes back onto her baby. “And it seems like you’re whipped for milk,” Janet giggles soft and tender.
Not gaining annoyance by her baby’s cries and screeches, Janet raises the baby from the cradle position she has her in and pushes her vertically up. Wrapping both sets of her delicate fingers onto the babe’s back head and back. Allowing a face to face alignment between both bodies. Staring at the cornflower hue in the small crescents cracking open. “We still haven’t chosen a name for you..” Janet whispers.

admittedly, i don’t like majority of aus where tim’s parents are actual neglectful monsters. why? well, i believe that they truly did love their son. even if it was pushed down due to their own marriage issues and resulted into subconscious neglect.
in the issue where janet and jack are taken by obeah man, you can see that love reach towards the audience at the worst time ever.
more than anything, i just want to add the head canon that tim and his parents loved each other to the fullest.
was tim affected by their distant neglect? yeah. i mean who wouldn’t.
but at the end of the day, those were his parents. who we never really got a good glimpse at how he was brought up. even if those small little snippets through tim’s run were mentioned.
so, i’m a die hard for the drakes to be a loving family. we’re jack and janet the best couple? no. we’re jack and tim the best father and son duo? no. we’re janet and tim the best mother and son duo? we never really got a chance to look. (unless i’m missing some issues)
anyways, i’ll always incorporate a loving family connection with all three. call me a sucker for familial love.

Chapter One : The Prologue
everything is raw and not proofread! i’m too lazy to do so lol.
The minute the Drakes’ baby was born, two lives were changed: the parents. It was common knowledge that as expecting first time parents, Jack and Janet would experience a huge change in their already made lives.
But this change to the expecting parents was colossal compared to their previous changes in life. For Janet, this change was the most memorable. Chest to chest. Eyes to Eyes. Body warmth traveling through both making the skin hike as a torched area.
Janet was tired to say the least but that did not stop her from looking at her baby with such adoration. Her finger and eyes peeked through the white blanket that the nurses adorned the newborn with. As a result, the babe opened her small eyes to peek at her mother’s curious eyes. The shine of the babe’s cornflower blue orbs reflected upon Janet’s hazel honey orbs. As both irises paralleled as fit, Janet then realized to what extent this change will bring.
Janet is a mother now. Her body was able to give her a child, but not just any child but her own. Her baby girl. But that’s where the slight issue came in. Her baby girl was not a baby boy as she and Jack thought her to be.
As the issue slowly sinked in, Janet remembered how badly Jack wanted a baby boy. A baby boy to be an heir for him. Fit to be an heir in both life and business aspects for him. Janet found it both annoying and endearing when he was rambling on about how he couldn’t wait for their baby to be a boy a few weeks after finding out they were expecting.
Yes they were just a few weeks into their pregnancy journey but they couldn’t help but immediately expect for a boy. It just felt right for their new addition to be a boy. But more so for Jack. He always exclaimed how he would treat his boy as a champ. Teach him all the pathways there are to be a boy and especially grow a man.
“Jan, I could finally have a little helper when I work on my cars!”
“Oh how adorable would he be dressed up at events!”
“I could already see it so vividly, Timothy Jackson Drake!” Jack would gasp in utter delight.
“I am prepared for our champ to greet us both.”
It was a tender side of her husband that she recognized from way back to the beginning of their complicated marriage. Back when they were stupid in love and stuck so horrendously in the honeymoon phase. Back when they loved with no limit. Something that is such a rarity in the present. So to keep that warm manner of her husband running on, Janet encouraged Jack’s advanced prediction of their baby’s gender.
A selfish deed she felt she deserved so desperately to make her pregnancy the easiest between both expecting parents. So, as a result both Drakes never asked for the baby’s gender when visiting the doctor's office.
Even when the doctors recommended both to know, so it would give them more preparation for the baby’s welcome. They declined. Every single time.
Flashforward to now, Janet regrets it. She should’ve known that her selfishness would bite her back. It always does. And now the new mother sits with her new baby girl. Rapid thoughts flowing like a rainforest current, with no capability of stopping. So many thoughts on what’s next.
Janet loves her child no matter the gender. But Jack? He wanted a baby boy, never expressing for a girl. Now what? Will he be mad? Will he be disappointed? Will he hate Janet?
..Will he hate his daughter?
Is he capable of it? Is she capable of allowing it? So many thoughts on what’s next but she knows that no matter what.
No matter what. Janet will love her child. Janet will love her baby girl, no matter what. And as Janet was drowning in thoughts she didn’t notice how her child began to subconsciously reach her finger with the chub of her own. The infant was successful in touching Janet’s finger, which seemed to bring Janet back to reality.
As her eyes began to zone in on her newborn, she realized that it didn't matter. None of what she thought or spiraled at mattered. Janet knew that Jack’s reaction to her meant nothing. Whether or not he takes well to the baby’s gender does not concern her. Because in the end, Janet will fight for her daughter. And almost in cue came Jack.
Janet supposed that the nurses let him in to see his newborn. But, even knowing such a reasonable explanation to Jack being in the room, she couldn’t help but inch her body inward to hide the baby.
Janet’s “little” action was caught by everyone. Most reacted in confusion but only Jack reacted with delicacy. He went to Janet’s side and slowly held his shaking hands out. Jack’s face was shaped in awe, with his mouth pried open, but eyes in disbelief.
After seconds of silence, Jack begged with a raspy tone, “Jannie, can I see our baby?”

Welcoming Act
A name according to various dictionaries is defined as a word or phrase that constitutes the distinctive designation of a person or thing. In a planet with over eight billion people, there is to expect eight billion names as well. That is if you include the numerous repetitively there are within names. But yet the question relies on the name and the person who was elected to that name. That question being, “Does a name truly define a person?”
To this very moment, there is no clear evidence of a name defining a person’s identity. But the minimal chance of it not occurring is never none. It’s a given that Timothea Jackson Drake, from the day she entered the world, has never felt attached to her name. There is so much evidence to display the declaration to be considered as a fact.
Janet never failed to remind her about all the incidents revolving around Timothea not responding to her name.

a long lost daughter?
so i was once again roaming around this app and listening to daddy issues by the neighborhood featured syd and came up with this storyline of bruce having a daughter that he didn’t know about with a woman of his past. this is kind of an self-insert when it comes to background but other than that it’s mostly an oc lol. but if you want to read this as yourself go right ahead. i hope y’all like this little intro.
(not proofread lol)
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
A regular day out with the whole family.
On a Saturday which is usually always busy for the girl's father.
A rare occasion of a family being all together and sailing out to the streets.
To wherever the car takes them.
That’s what was supposed to happen.
Not this.
Not the sudden car in front of them.
The said car then crashed into the car holding the family.
Not the sudden deaths.
The said deaths of people being nothing but smashed guts and liquid.
It wasn’t supposed to happen.
But the real question is, how was there a survivor?
Out of all five people in the car only one remained unscathed.
The daughter of two parents and sister of two brothers.
A sole survivor.
This wasn’t supposed to happen.

and that’s it.
guess what tim’s name would be ˃̶͈̀-˂̶͈́
still a name revolving around timothy but think greek.
ok! but how about a female tim drake origin/story remake?
i love tim and he’s one of my favorite robins!!
and while reading his issues i thought to myself how different yet same everything he goes through would be if he were to be born a girl.
i don’t know maybe it’s the sleep deprivation but i’ve already wrote some synopsis and plot for a possible story on this theme!!!
also maybe it’s just me but from the ones i’ve read on ao3 i feel like tim is written so ooc.
which i totally understand! it’s fan fiction so y’all could do and add all you want but i want some female tim drake that is exactly the same in person and mentality yet so different.
like i want tim drake with the same traits from his comics (especially from his robin run) and maybe minimal head cannons added to his person!
so i think im a just take it on for myself to gift to to myself.
i’ll see when it’s morning lol.
