Not posting any photos from today, as I feel it’s disrespectful/not my place, but I’m glad that Liam has finally been able to be laid to rest.

It’s disgusting that his family was made to wait so long to bury him.

I’m crying about the situation all over again. Seeing Niall, Louis, Zayn and Harry without him hit me like a freight train.

Seeing the “Daddy” flowers that Cheryl Cole got for the service as a tribute from Bear made me sob out loud.

Aging is weird. Like, logically, I know that I am 28 years old.

But where the logic in my brain stops is that if I am 28:

that means I graduated high school 10 years ago in May. (And graduated college 5 years ago)

that means my best friend and I have been best friends for 16 years. (We met when we were 12. I have known her longer than I haven’t at this point)

my best friend’s baby brother graduates high school next year.

Bronx, Saint and Marvel Wentz are 15 (he’ll be 16 by the end of the month), 10 and 6 respectively.

Declan and Antero Stump are 10 and 7 (8 in December)

Bandit Way is turning 15 in May.

Rowan and Kennedy Way are 6 and 4

Freddie Tomlinson is 8

Bear Payne is 7

Khai Malik is 4

In conclusion: I’m old. Between the above facts and being riddled with chronic illnesses/conditions, I am feeling like a very old 28.

All day I’ve been telling myself that I’m allowed to feel multiple things at once.

I’m allowed to grieve the 16 year old boy from one of my favorite bands.

I’m allowed to be heartbroken for his son, who doesn’t have a dad anymore, and his parents, who don’t have a son anymore, and his sisters, who don’t have their brother anymore, and his former bandmates, who lost one of the only other people who understand what they went through at such a young age.

I’m allowed to be upset by his actions in recent years, and the fact that he was not held accountable for the abuse he perpetrated.

I’m allowed to not like the man he became.

I’m allowed to cry.

I just wish I had directioner friends that I could share this grief with. I know Liam Payne was just one of five guys in a band, but that band had an IMMENSE impact on me. I’ve always been a Niall girl, but part of my girlhood was stolen from me last night with Payno’s death.

I know I haven’t posted in a long time. I’ve been busy.

However, I would like to announce that these are companies that I will go out of my way to never give a single cent to any longer. Due to their affiliation with Tyson Foods, and the failure of that company to keep its "beloved" employees, including my grandfather, safe in this time of crisis.

My grandpa was the most influential man in my life. And Tyson Foods could have, and should have done more to protect its employees, including him, from the pandemic we are still facing.

Many Tyson Foods employees, including my grandfather, have passed away due to either the coronavirus itself, or complications related to it. If Tyson had been doing what it could to protect them, he, and countless others would have never gotten sick.

This pandemic is real. And it’s horrible. Protesting this virus is dangerously stupid. Stay home if you can, protect the people you love, and follow the CDC guidelines. Continue social distancing, and wash your fucking hands.

Yes. I’m angry. Yes. I’m bitter. I’ve just lost one of the most important people to me, and people are acting like this virus is a hoax.
