Do I Wanna Know?
A Clarisse La Rue x Fem!Reader (They are both somewhat acquaintances)
Inspired by the Hozier version of Do I wanna Know?
My Request Box Is Open!!
The woods were still tonight — the kind of stillness that came just before dawn, when even the monsters seemed too tired to bother creeping out of the trees.
You weren’t even supposed to stop.
Patrol shifts were technically meant to be full perimeter walks, loop after loop until you were relieved by the next pair. But… it was warm. The firepit near the armory was crackling low, just embers and soft smoke now, and the stone bench beside it looked way too inviting to ignore. You'd told yourself you’d just sit for five minutes.
Ten, tops.
Maybe fifteen.
You let out a sigh and tucked your legs up under you, chin resting on your knees, watching sparks drift lazily into the dark. Your armor was crooked and your eyes were starting to flutter shut between each blink, the warmth from the fire licking sleep across your skin like a lullaby.
And then—
“Are you serious right now?”
You blinked. Looked up.
Clarisse La Rue stood a few feet away, half in the shadows, arms crossed over her chest. Her face was sharp with disapproval, but her voice wasn’t loud — just irritated. Or... tired. Or something between the two.
You straightened up. “What?”
She stalked closer, boots crunching in the gravel. “This is patrol duty, not nap time. What if a drakon slithered out of the woods while you were curled up like a freaking campfire marshmallow?”
You blinked again, then couldn’t help the little laugh that slipped out.
“A marshmallow?”
Clarisse scowled deeper. “That’s not the point.”
You tilted your head and smiled, still perched on the bench like a sleepy forest sprite. “I did the whole loop. Twice. I was just taking a minute.”
Clarisse narrowed her eyes. “You can take a minute when you’re not on guard duty. Gods, you’re always like this.”
That made your brows lift. “Like what?”
She hesitated. You could tell she hadn’t meant to say that part out loud.
“…Like all soft and... giggly and stuff.” She gestured at you vaguely, like you were some kind of frustratingly cute puzzle she couldn’t solve. “Like nothing ever rattles you.”
Your heart beat a little faster. The way she was looking at you now — not just annoyed, but really looking — made you suddenly aware of how close the two of you were.
“Do I annoy you?” you asked, teasing, voice light.
Clarisse’s mouth opened. Then shut. Then opened again.
You leaned forward slightly, resting your chin in your palm. “It’s okay if I do. You kinda always look like you wanna throw something at me.”
“…I don’t.”
“Oh?”
“I don’t wanna throw something at you,” she snapped — then glanced away quickly, jaw tight. “Just. I don’t know. You catch people off guard. That’s dangerous.”
You smiled gently, watching the way her shoulders were all tight, like she was bracing for something. She looked like she didn’t know how to stand still around you — like her body wanted to fight but her heart didn’t.
“You’re sweet,” you said softly.
Clarisse flinched, like the word physically hit her.
“I’m not—” she started, but her voice broke halfway through.
You stood slowly, brushing ash off your pants. You didn’t say anything for a second — just looked at her in the orange firelight. She was flushed, breathing like she’d just finished a sparring match.
You tilted your head.
“Are you okay?”
Clarisse looked at you for a long time. She didn’t answer.
You thought maybe she wasn’t going to.
But then she muttered, just barely loud enough for you to hear: “You’re not supposed to make me think about you when I’m supposed to be focused.”
That made your heart skip.
The fire popped.
Clarisse shifted her weight like she regretted saying anything at all.
You smiled — not teasing this time. Just warm.
“Maybe we can sit for a minute,” you said gently. “Together?”
Clarisse didn’t move at first. But then, after a beat too long, she sat beside you — not close enough to touch, but close enough that your shoulders almost brushed.
She didn’t say anything else.
But she stayed.
And that was enough for now.
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
The next day, Chiron called a training session. It wasn’t a full-on combat lesson, just a light sparring match for the campers who were still recovering from the last monster attack.
When you showed up, stretching lazily in your camp T-shirt, you spotted Clarisse already at the sparring ring, her stance a little too rigid. She was always like that — never relaxed, always ready to go. She had a reputation for being a bit... rough around the edges.
You’d never minded it, though.
In fact, you kind of liked how fierce she was, even if it was hard to admit.
You stepped up, smiling at her. “Hey, Clarisse. You ready for some sparring?”
She looked at you like you’d just asked her to arm wrestle a hydra. “You’re late.”
You raised an eyebrow, hands on your hips. “I’m ten minutes early.”
She scoffed, crossing her arms. “Whatever. Just don’t hold me up.”
And there it was — that sharp, guarded side of her, the side that made her so hard to read. You hadn’t let it bother you before, but now, you couldn’t help but feel a small tug in your chest. You just didn’t understand why she pushed everyone away so easily.
Still, you weren’t backing down.
“Sure thing,” you said, moving to grab a practice sword. You twirled it once, smiling to yourself. “I’ll do my best.”
The sparring began with you two circling each other in the sand. Clarisse was fast — too fast, in fact—and you had to dodge a few strikes before getting the rhythm of it. She was aggressive, all sharp movements and heavy blows, but there was something almost... predictable about her fighting style. She wore her anger like armor, every strike a projection of her frustration.
You dodged another hit, this time ducking low and using your quick footwork to get behind her. Clarisse whipped around, too fast, and her sword barely missed your shoulder as you sidestepped her.
Your heart was beating a little faster now, not because of the fight, but because of her. The way she looked at you when she finally cornered you against the side of the ring, her eyes narrowed and lips tight with concentration.
You stepped to the side again, not realizing how close you were to her until you nearly brushed her arm.
And there it was: that brief moment of hesitation.
Her eyes flickered to your face, and for a split second, she faltered. It was enough to make you smirk, to feel that rush of excitement in your chest, like you were getting under her skin in a way that no one else had.
You took advantage of her hesitation and swiftly swept her legs out from under her. Clarisse hit the ground with a soft grunt, and for a second, she just lay there, staring up at the sky.
“Not bad,” she muttered, sitting up with a little huff. She wiped the sand from her armor, but her eyes were still on you, lingering in that way that made your stomach flutter.
You smiled brightly, offering her a hand to help her up. “Thanks. I’ve been practicing.”
Clarisse took your hand, and for a second, she didn’t let go. You felt the heat of her skin, the strength in her grip — and you couldn’t help but notice the way her gaze flickered to your face again. Not quite avoiding, not quite meeting your eyes, but somewhere in between.
When she finally let go, her voice was softer than usual. “You’re quick. You almost had me there.”
You grinned, feeling a little victorious. “You’re hard to keep up with, but I think I’m getting the hang of it.”
Clarisse didn’t respond right away, her brow furrowed in thought. Then, as if she were trying to get rid of the lingering silence, she mumbled, “You’re not like the others. You know that?”
You tilted your head, not quite sure what she meant. “What do you mean?”
She hesitated, her lips pressing into a thin line. “You don’t... back down.” She glanced at you for a fraction of a second, her expression unreadable. “You’re not afraid of me.”
You couldn’t help it — you laughed, the sound light and easy. “I’m not afraid of you, Clarisse. I think I’d be afraid of myself if I were.”
Her eyes narrowed, but there was a flicker of something in them — amusement, maybe? It disappeared too quickly for you to be sure.
“I don’t need anyone’s pity,” she snapped, a little too sharply. But then her shoulders sagged, just a bit, and she added quietly, “I just don’t get why you... stick around.”
Your heart softened, and you stepped closer, just enough to close the distance between you without invading her space. “Maybe I just think you’re worth sticking around for.”
Clarisse looked at you then, truly looked at you. For the first time in what felt like forever, she wasn’t scowling. Her gaze was intense, searching — almost like she was trying to figure something out.
The quiet between you stretched longer than either of you expected. You could feel her breath quicken, just slightly, her chest rising and falling with each inhale. There was no sound but the rustle of the trees, the faint crackling of the fire from the distance, and the steady beat of your heart.
And then — just like that — the moment passed. Clarisse took a step back, crossing her arms again. “You’re weird.”
You smiled. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
The rest of the sparring session went by in a blur. Clarisse was her usual, intense self, but there was something different now. It was subtle, but the way her eyes would flicker to you when you weren’t looking — the way she’d glance away when you caught her — said more than words ever could.
You both finished up, the clang of swords against practice shields ringing through the air, the sound of your boots kicking up dust as you walked off the mat. She was breathing heavily, and for once, you noticed the way her muscles seemed to loosen, like she was exhausted, but maybe also... relieved?
You didn’t want to ask, but something in you couldn’t stop yourself from nudging her as you both walked toward the fire pit.
“You sure you don’t want to take a break?” you teased, the playful lilt in your voice light as ever.
She glanced at you, but this time, there wasn’t any biting sarcasm. Just a soft flicker of something unspoken.
“I don’t need a break.” She said it firmly — almost like she was trying to convince herself. But then she slowed down, her eyes lingering on you again. “But... maybe I could use a minute. To catch my breath.”
You smiled, the softness of it reaching your eyes. You had that moment of hope again — the one where you didn’t know if it was really there, but you hoped it was. You wanted it to be.
You both sat on the stone wall near the fire pit, where the embers still flickered red against the twilight. The firelight danced over Clarisse’s face, casting long shadows that made her look even sharper, even more untouchable.
And yet, in that moment, she was still. Almost... fragile. You had the strange impulse to reach over, to hold her hand, but you kept your distance. It felt wrong to force it, but it also felt right, in a way you couldn’t describe.
Clarisse exhaled, rubbing the back of her neck. “You don’t know how to quit, do you?”
You snorted softly, tilting your head toward her. “Do you want me to?”
She didn’t answer immediately. Instead, she shifted closer, her shoulder brushing against yours ever so slightly. You froze for a second, surprised, but you didn’t move away. If anything, you leaned in just a little more, until the warmth between you felt like the fire itself.
“I don’t know,” Clarisse said, her voice quieter now, softer than you’d ever heard it. It was a little raspy, like she’d been holding something in for too long. “I don’t know what to do with someone like you.”
Your heart skipped. "Someone like me?"
She ran a hand through her hair, pulling her fingers through the messy strands. “Someone who isn’t afraid of me.”
You blinked, then smiled gently, looking out at the fire. “I’m not afraid of you, Clarisse.”
She turned to face you fully, eyes intense and searching. “Why? I’m not... easy to deal with.”
You laughed softly. “You’re not supposed to be.”
Her breath caught at that, and you could’ve sworn there was a tiny flicker of... something in her gaze — something vulnerable, something human. For a moment, Clarisse didn’t look like the camp’s fiercest warrior. She looked like a person, a girl who maybe just didn’t know how to make sense of the mess of feelings swirling inside her.
She shifted closer again, her voice almost a whisper: “You... you’re different from everyone else. You make me feel—” She cut herself off, looking away quickly, like she didn’t want to finish the thought.
You turned to face her, the smile falling from your lips as your heart beat a little faster. You wanted to know. You needed to know. “Make you feel what?”
Clarisse didn’t say anything for a few seconds. But then, almost like she couldn’t hold it in anymore, she muttered, “Vulnerable.”
That one word hit you like a wave. It was so honest, so raw, you weren’t sure what to do with it.
You exhaled slowly, leaning forward, your gaze soft but unwavering. “You don’t have to be afraid of being vulnerable with me, Clarisse. I—”
But she cut you off, her tone suddenly defensive again. “I’m not afraid.” But the sharpness in her voice didn’t quite match the way her fingers fidgeted with the hem of her sleeve, like she wasn’t sure whether to stay or pull away.
You reached out without thinking, just a light touch on her wrist, stopping her from pulling away. “You don’t have to hide from me, you know. I get it. I don’t think you're weak.”
Clarisse’s eyes flickered to your hand on her wrist. There was a moment of silence — a heavy silence. The kind where everything hangs in the balance.
Finally, she took a deep breath, letting her shoulders relax just a little, before her gaze lifted to meet yours. “I don’t know how to let people in,” she admitted quietly, almost as though the words physically pained her to say. “Not... not after everything.”
You squeezed her wrist gently. “You don’t have to let me in all at once. But... if you ever want to, I’ll be here.”
Clarisse's lips parted as if she were about to say something, but the words caught in her throat. Instead, she simply looked at you — really looked at you — for the first time since you’d met.
You could feel it then — the connection between you two, palpable, warm in the cool night air.
And before either of you could say anything more, she stood up abruptly. “You’re an idiot, you know that?”
You laughed softly, standing up with her. “Yeah. I know.”
Clarisse paused, her hand brushing yours for just a moment before she turned to walk away. Her voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke over her shoulder.
“I’ll see you later, idiot.”
You watched her leave, a smile tugging at your lips, your heart full of something you weren’t quite sure you were ready to name yet.
But it didn’t matter. Because for the first time, you were sure of one thing.
You weren’t alone in this.
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
A few days later ~
The camp was quiet when the last patrol of the day came to an end. The crickets were chirping louder now, the cicadas almost silent, leaving the air still. The day had been long, dragging with the weight of exhaustion and the occasional monster fight, but now, with night finally settling in, there was only the faint scent of pine and campfire smoke.
You and Clarisse had walked back side by side after your last loop, your bodies sore from hours of hiking and patrol duty, your minds tired, but not quite ready for sleep. You were both quiet, walking in the kind of comfortable silence that had started to feel natural between you.
Clarisse’s shoulder brushed yours every so often — something soft and casual, but there was always that spark of tension, that lingering pull.
You didn’t say anything at first. Neither of you did. But when you finally reached the area near the campfire, where a few campers were still finishing up their late-night chores, you stopped.
Clarisse kept walking, but you tugged on the strap of her armor lightly, halting her.
“Clarisse, wait.”
She turned to face you, her brow furrowing. “What?”
You hesitated, your heart pounding a little faster than usual. The words had been on the tip of your tongue for a while now — all the things you wanted to say, but never quite knew how to put into words.
But tonight, something felt different. You felt a little braver, a little more sure of everything between you.
“You’ve been... distant today,” you said softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
Her eyes narrowed, but there was a flicker of something in them — something that looked almost apologetic. “I’m not distant.”
You sighed, stepping closer to her, not entirely sure where this was going, but knowing you needed to say it. “I don’t think you know how to let yourself... be vulnerable. It’s like you keep running away from it, even though I can see you—” You paused, your breath catching, “—even though I can see how you feel.”
Clarisse’s lips pressed together in a tight line, her fists clenched by her sides. She opened her mouth like she was going to argue, to push you away again, but then she stopped. Her shoulders sagged slightly, her gaze dropping to the ground.
And then, just as you thought she might turn and leave, she whispered, so quietly you almost didn’t hear it:
“I’ve been crawling back to you, you know.”
Your heart skipped a beat.
“Crawling back?” you repeated, a small, playful laugh escaping your lips. “I didn’t think you were the type to crawl.”
Her eyes lifted to yours, and for the first time in a long time, she looked completely open. Completely raw. There were no walls, no defenses. Just Clarisse, standing there in the fading light of the camp, her gaze soft, her breath shaky.
“I don’t know how to do this,” she said, her voice thick with vulnerability, the kind you hadn’t heard from her before. “I don’t know how to... want someone and not push them away.”
You stepped even closer to her, your chest just inches from hers. Your heart was in your throat now, but you swallowed it down and took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself.
“Clarisse,” you whispered, your hand trembling slightly as you reached up to gently touch her cheek. “You don’t have to do it alone. I’ve been waiting for you to come back to me. I’m right here. I’ve always been right here.”
Her gaze softened, and for a second, everything else in the world faded out. The noise from the other campers, the lingering feeling of exhaustion, even the firelight — it all dimmed in comparison to the pull between the two of you.
And then, as if she couldn’t fight it anymore, Clarisse leaned in, her lips brushing against yours in a soft, tentative kiss.
It wasn’t frantic. It wasn’t rushed. It was slow — a kiss that spoke of everything unsaid between you, of every moment where one of you had almost crossed the line but hadn’t dared to. This kiss was full of the weight of all those unspoken words, all those moments where she’d pushed you away but was now finally letting you in.
When she pulled away, her forehead rested against yours, her breath shallow. “I’ve been an idiot.”
You smiled softly, your fingers tracing the edge of her jaw. “We’re both idiots. But I think I like it that way.”
Clarisse chuckled, but it was quieter, more genuine than you’d ever heard from her. “You really are an idiot.”
You kissed her again — this time more confidently. It wasn’t the kind of kiss that left room for doubt. This time, it was a declaration. A quiet promise. Something unspoken that had been sitting there, just waiting for the right moment.
And as you pulled away again, you whispered, “I’m not going anywhere, Clarisse. I’m not leaving.”
She let out a soft laugh, brushing the hair from your forehead as she gazed down at you. There was something different in her eyes now — something deeper. Something that was finally allowing her to feel seen, understood, and wanted.
“I think I’m starting to believe you.”
And then, with a rare smile, she leaned in once more, her lips pressing against yours for the third time. This time, it was like she couldn’t get enough — like, maybe, she had been crawling back to you all along.

Warrior & Poet
Pairing: Clarisse La Rue x Fem!Reader Genre: Slow Burn, Fluff, Angst, Hurt/Comfort, Happy Ending

*A short little something*
You weren’t supposed to be at Camp Half-Blood. Not really. You weren’t a fighter, not like the others. You were a child of a minor god—no prophecy, no war-destined fate, just a kid with a quick wit and a knack for talking your way out of trouble. That is until you stumbled straight into Clarisse La Rue’s path.
It happened during a sparring session you didn’t even sign up for. One second, you were minding your own business, the next, Clarisse was standing over you, looking at you like you were the weakest thing she’d ever seen. “What are you even doing here?” she scoffed.
Your first mistake? Answering honestly.
“I don't even know.”
Your second mistake? Smiling when you said it.
That was the first time you ever saw Clarisse hesitate. Just for a second. But then she rolled her eyes and tossed a training sword at you. “You’re fighting me.”
It was the beginning of everything.
Clarisse was never good at softness. She showed she cared in the way she shoved you behind her when things got dangerous, in the way she let you steal bites of her food without growling about it (too much). You got that about her.
For the longest time you didn’t even think she liked you. It wasn't until Charlie looked at you with amazement when you told her to walk away from a fight and she listened.
You liked Clarisse, it was obvious from the start especially when you would willingly buy her gifts and hang out with her. And Clarisse? She likes you too. But for some reason she never wanted to confirm that with you.
Past of her felt embarrassed that she was with a girl, and another part just didn’t feel committed to a relationship when she already had so much to focus on.
Clarisse felt scared, she felt like she was being tied down even though she knew that you were all she ever wanted.
One night she finally snapped, after a quest goes south, she storms back into camp bloodied and furious, and when you try to reach for her, she flinches away. “I don’t need you to fix me,” she snaps.
It’s the first time she’s ever pushed you away. And it stings more than it should.
You don’t cry—not until you’re alone. Not until you realize you’ve fallen for someone who doesn’t know how to let herself be loved.
For the first time, you consider leaving camp. Maybe you weren’t meant to be here after all.
You spent the next few days by yourself, just like things were before Clarisse … the only difference was that you weren’t being picked on by other campers anymore.
You found yourself slipping through cracks, being invisible and silent. You were by yourself again.
Being alone wasn’t always bad, you finally got to see the silent earth's beauty once again. And those early mornings that always seemed poetic you found peace … the peace you always tried to bring to Clarisse.
A few days later, Clarisse finds you at your usual spot by the lake, staring at the water like it might give you answers.
She doesn’t say anything at first. Just sits beside you, silent. Then, after what feels like forever, she exhales, frustrated. “I didn’t mean it.”
You look at her, quiet. Waiting.
She glares at the lake like it personally offended her. “I just—I don’t want you to see me like that. Weak.”
You scoff, shaking your head. “You think letting someone care about you makes you weak?”
Clarisse doesn’t answer, but she doesn’t have to.
So, you reach for her hand—not pushing, just offering. And for the first time, she lets you.
“I’m not going anywhere,” you say softly.
Clarisse exhales again, this time like she’s releasing something heavy. Then, without looking at you, she mutters, “Good. ‘Cause that would’ve sucked.”
You laugh, squeezing her hand. “Yeah. It would’ve.”
And just like that, she’s yours again. Maybe even for good.

Hi!! i was wondering if you could do clarisse la rue and readers her girlfriend. readers really short compared to the other campers. ( like 4,11). she always get teased about it and one day some people hurt her, then clarisse finds her and comforts her.
Shots Fired
Clarisse La Rue x Fem!Reader
Something short and sweet!
Requests are still open 🌷

Y/n was strangely one of the shortest people in her age group at camp. She was often teased about it and although it bugged her, she often let it happen (cause what else would she do.)
When she began to date Clarisse she thought she would finally seek victory and beat the short allegations. Her hot and strong girlfriend would scare all the mean campers and fight them if needed.
Until you were forced into training with one of the campers who hated you most, Shelly.
Shelly was a jerk to everyone, and she thought that you being so short was hilarious. Before Clarisse, she’d nudge you out of her way or push you to the ground. And even with Clarisse around, she would find ways to torment you.
So when your names were called out you let out an audible sigh and tilted your head back in aggravation. This had to be a joke.
With Clarisse across the field, you had no one to protect you, but yourself.
So you gathered your chosen weapon and met Shelly in the middle, a smirk was already drawn across her face even though she hadn’t won yet.
You got into your stance but before you even raised your weapon, Shelly used all her strength to push you onto the ground.
The air escaped your lungs as your back hit the solid ground and you used all your strength to muster out a yell. Shelly laughed as she kicked you in your side, Unfortunately, this was allowed when sparring in a duel, but you could tell Shelly was just being a dick.
“What the hell!” you yelled as you scrunch your body together into a ball to shelter your head.
“Not gonna fight back?” Shelly laughed as she hurled another blow into your back. You yelped as another pain struck you. Shelly was about to round up her strength for another kick when she was suddenly pushed onto the ground with extreme force.
Shelly used her hands to catch her fall, but she let out a guttural scream as her hand let out a sharp snap. “Not gonna fight back?” a voice spoke breathlessly, and you recognized it as Clarisse’s. You scrunched your body and slightly winced as you sat up and looked at her.
She had run across the field when she noticed you getting beaten.
Her chest was rising and falling as she looked at Shelly in annoyance. But once she turned to look at you, her gaze softened and she stuck her hand out to pull you up. Raising you to your feet she quickly scanned over you to check for any extreme damage.
She looked over at Shelly one last time before grabbing your upper arm and walking you off the field.
Once you were on the path towards the cabins you started to cry. “I'm sorry” you mumbled trying to wipe the tears away and hide your face. You were aware Clarrise wasn't very used to comforting people, especially when they were crying.
But she turned you to face her and wrapped her arms around you. She remained silent and allowed you to sob, giving glares to anyone who walked by and stared too long at you.
When you pulled back, she wiped your tears and smiled at you “I told you I always have your back,” she spoke softly, in a voice that grabbed your attention and made you focus only on her. “I’ll take care of you … and I’ll do anything you want me to, as long as it's not singing or dancing, I just want you happy.”
You nodded your head and took in a deep breath “My back hurts,” you mumbled, a sob almost escaping your mouth again, but you held it back. She hummed in acknowledgment, “I’ll get you some nectar and get you some extra pillows, okay?” she asked softly, and you nodded your head.
“Okay”

Hi! Happy new year, sorry my english is terrible, could you make a clarisse fic were user(user is lesbian and non binary and from cabin 3?) is kinda sick (i have fever now and it sucks🥲) and maybe she take care of user or something? Thank you so much! Love your posts!..💙🩵
Hey! Thank you so much, I tried my best (it's been a while since I've written here.) Also feel better soon!
Sick Days
Clarisse La Rue x NonBinary!Reader

Clarisse often never took pity on anyone. She didn't when Percy fell on his face during practice, not when Lucy got stuck in the mud … not even when her siblings lost in a game.
But then she met you.
It was a long story about how you guys met, and although she tried to get the story right, it seemed like you kept adding more details she had missed. But she never got angry when you called her out, nor when you stole her clothes, or even when you got sick on the day you were both supposed to hang out.
A “sick day” seemed to happen every other month with you, and Clarisse hated it. She always felt a weird twist in her gut the day before you had Percy find her with the news.
Every time she let out a sigh and walked off to cabin 3, the cabin that always smelt of the ocean and, oddly enough, was sparkling clean (despite having to share it with an adhd mess of a brother).
She’d open the squeaky door and quietly approach the room you claimed as yours and open it, only to be met with you staring at the ceiling.
She'd nurse you back to health because she took pity and wanted to see you feeling better. She would keep her rude remarks to herself for once, and when you had her doing all your tasks, she never got angry because she deeply cared for you.
This was her habit, and even on bad days, she knew that you and your sickness came first, even today.
You popped your head up to look at the sudden noise, only to be met with the curly-haired girl.
“Clari” you moaned softly, laying your head on the pillow “my head hurts.”
Clarisse sighed softly as she looked at you with tired eyes, her hands resting on her hips as she simply stared at your fragile body. Clarisse always had a way of making you feel like she was disappointed in you, even though that was never the case.
Clarisse took you as her pride and joy, even when you did something stupid, and even after she shunned you slightly, she was still so amazed by and proud of you.
So, after a few seconds, when she started to notice your discomfort ( x2), she walked over and sat on the edge of the bed, ready to make you feel better.
“Hey,” she whispered, moving her hand to gently touch your forehead. You winced, and for a moment, she worried that she had hurt you.
“Your hands are freezing,” you muttered, the sea glass you had strung together to make a wind chime blew softly in the wind. And even at this moment, when you were sick and covered in sweat, she thought you were a higher being, a ruler, that had her whipped.
“Sorry,” Clarisse mumbled, pulling her hand back. Clarisse was caring in her own way, and you were growing used to it.
Although she wasn’t very talkative, and at some point, she’d lecture you about your terrible sleeping habits, she would eventually shut up and help you.
She'd show a caring personality that no one else but you had ever seen. Although you hated being sick, you loved and looked forward to seeing this side of her.
“You're heating up,” she mumbled, causing you to sigh. Reaching for her hand, you brought it to your forehead, the coldness soothing the ache. “Your hands are nice," you whispered softly.
“I thought you said they were cold?” she asked and you hummed softly “They are.”
Clarisse wanted to protest more but decided to save it for later. She knew you were tired by the way your breath slowed down and your hand slowly slipped from hers.
“Have you eaten today?” she asked, her voice becoming softer as she looked at your smooth skin. “No” you mumbled and she sighed, but before she could open her mouth you spoke up again “Don't yell at me.”
Clarisse shut her mouth and looked off towards the window “Let me go get you some food.”
she attempted to move her hand from your skin, but that only caused you to groan “Please… you need to eat something if you want to get strong and healthy.”
You could hear the slight shift in her voice, hearing her sound worried made you slowly drop your hand and allow her to rise off the bed.
“Can you bring me a donut as my sweet treat?” you asked. “How about an apple?” she replied, to which you groaned, “No, what about a popsicle?”
As Clarisse grew closer to the door she asked once more ‘how about an apple?” you could practically see the smile on her face, although your eyes were still closed. “Bruh, fine.”

Love me like a sailor
Clarisse La Rue x Shy!Reader
~Who would’ve thought a necklace would make such an impact on an Ares kid.
˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆
Inspired by the “Sailor Song” by Gigi Perez
- these lyrics!
~Oh won’t you kiss me on the mouth and love me like a sailor?
~And when you get a taste, can you tell me what’s my flavor?
~I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior.

You had always had a sense of connection to the water, growing up you lived in a small state near the ocean. So when you arrived at camp, it was no shock that you spent most days by the murky lake
Your parent grew up as a fishermen/women constantly out at sea, leaving you with their new lover. When the day came for them to return, their lover always found their way back into your parent's arms, being loved and held.
These days were always your favorite.
When you arrived at camp, you no longer were able to see those moments anymore, it became too dangerous living in your hometown. So you came here, with a small bag in hand, and a St.Christopher necklace that your parent gave you, to always find your way back home.
It was ironic that you wore this necklace, I mean … you were at a camp for the gods and goddesses. But your parent chose to not trust them after your godly parent left them behind.
It grew easy to hide in Camp Halfblood, everyone was always busy being themselves, so you did what you had to do to get by, and then found yourself back at the lake for the evening.
Chiron was the first to notice your unhappiness in the camp, I mean how couldn’t he? You smiled at those who walked by but quickly went back to frowning. You had made one friend Nicole, she was sweet and made you laugh, but once she left, you looked lost. Like you hadn’t found the one person to keep you grounded like an anchor.
Chiron knew that if you wanted to leave you would at least need to learn to fight, so that’s when he asked Luke Castellan to help you.
Luke approached you one afternoon with a friendly smile on his face, one that made you concerned. “Y/n, Right?” he asked, a smirk planted on his lips as he pointed slightly at you. You smiled and nodded your hair “Yep … I’m sorry, and you are?”
He chuckled with a smile still on his face, clearly taking no offense. “Luke … uh Chiron wants me to teach you how to fight, with a sword, I mean.”
“I’m better with an arrow” You spoke, trying to get him to leave you alone, but he didn’t budge “Well, we’ll have time to do that later, let's go.” He spoke tilting his head in the direction his body started to turn.
On the arena field, you felt the sun beating down on you, causing small glands of sweat to drip down your neck.
He taught you the basics, and once you caught on he started to push you more.
This happened almost every afternoon for the next few weeks, and without realizing it you started to become happier at camp.
One evening as you sat on the grass catching your breath, Luke slightly taunting you causing you to smile, a girl's voice cut through the peaceful air.
“Training this girl for death?”
You opened your eyes, leaning onto your elbows as you looked up to see a curly-haired girl standing there with a scowl.
“Clarisse … met Y/n yet?” Luke spoke, twisting his sword in his hand, “Why would I” she scrunched her face in disgust. She glanced down at you and rolled her eyes “Your tea party is cutting into the hours I reserved for this area.”
Luke scrunched his face up as he looked around, and you quickly got off the ground “Sorry, we’ll get going” You spoke with a smile on your face trying to calm the storm that was brewing but Luke shook his head.
“No this is a great opportunity Y/n … Clarisse will spar you.” Luke spoke taking a step back “What” the both of you said at the same time “I’m not fighting her.” Clarisse spoke and Luke rolled his eyes.
“Come on, we both know you are great at fighting, she needs practice.” He spoke taking a spot on the grass “Ermm Luke … I just started and she's practically advanced,” but Luke shook his head a smile forming “It’ll be fine”
But it was not fine.
Clarisse had you on the ground in seconds, her staff tugging on your necklace, the sharp end digging into your skin.
Clarisse couldn’t help the smirk grow on her face, “Cute necklace, won't mind me having it would ya?” She spoke as her sharp arrowed staff pulled harder breaking the chain, causing you to gasp as your eyes shot open.
Clarisse admired the small pendant as you got off the grass “Give it” you demanded but she shook her head a mocking laugh escaping her lips as she hid her arm behind her back.
Luke was quick to act pulling you away “Alright that's it for today”
“Bu-” he cut you off by dragging you away, leaving you feeling gutted and empty from the lost contact around your necklace.
You told Luke every day, a constant reminder of the wrong choice he made, that it was his fault Clarisse had your necklace.
Luke felt bad, so the next day he went to Clarisse, and after making a huge trade (5 Coke cans for the necklace) Clarisse agreed and made her way to the lake where she figured you’d be.
It was a foggy day, archery was canceled in fear one of the Ares kids would purposely try to shoot another kid in the butt.
So there you were, sitting on a small dock, swaying your feet over the edge.
Clarisse took in a small sigh as she walked over to you, “Can I sit?” She asked even though she didn’t care what you responded to.
She sat down, rolling her eyes at the silence you formed. “Okay quit pissing yourself, here's your dumb necklace.” She groaned, taking it out of her pocket and handing it to you.
She wanted to drag it out, wanting to see if she could make you plead, but she didn't have the patience.
She let the pendant drop into your palm, causing the chain to quickly fall after it. You said nothing just looking at it, “You’re welcome” She muttered looking out into the water.
She didn’t know why she stayed next to you, but she did. “You’re going on a quest next week, aren't you?” You asked softly, turning your gaze upwards to look at the side of her face.
She nodded, “Yeah, thank gods.”
“Why do you want to go out there so much?” you asked quietly, turning to look into the distance. “Why wouldn’t I? It makes my father proud,” she spoke, an annoyed expression written on her face.
“But does it?” This casued her to smack her thighs in annoyance as she looked at you “Excuse me?”
“I mean does he tell you it himself? Why put yourself in danger for a man who doesn't care about anything but the danger that comes with everything.”
Clarisse went silent, insults burning but sizzling out once they hit the tip of her tongue. You looked over at her, inhaling softly the lake scent before looking down at the necklace in your hand. “Here … take this for a safe trip,” you stuck your hand out nudging her arm slightly.
“I Don’t need a catholic saint to save me.” She muttered, which made you shrug your shoulders “Then add an Ares pendant to it as well, I know you got one, you carry it in your pocket.” you spoke softly, causing a confused look to spread on her face as she watched you stand up and leave the necklace on the dock.
Clarisse avoided you for the next week, the day before she left she put the necklace on, a sigh escaping her lips as she felt embarrassed. But in all honesty, she was nervous, and maybe she needed the extra luck.
As she traveled and fought, her hands would travel to the necklace and gently tug on the pendant in her spare time. When one of her cabin mates asked her about it she shoved them away feeling a slight burn in her face as she didn't want to explain her attachment to it.
She wanted to thank you, but she didn’t know how, and she didn’t want you to get the wrong idea, or at least she thought.
˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆
It was about a month later she returned.
You had no idea, too busy and engrossed with your own life to keep track of what was going on with her. You hoped she took the necklace with her, not wanting to feel embarrassed.
The day she returned everyone celebrated, another great victory for the great Clarisse. But you didn’t care, it wasn't like you were friends, you couldn’t just go up and hug her.
So instead you returned to the one place where you found peace, the dock. Gently swaying your feet and locking at the small ripples in the water as your reflection darkened with the setting sun.
“Can I keep this?” A voice asked as they sat down aggressively next to you. As you looked up you noticed that smiling face you grew desperate to see.
“No, you can not.” You responded, causing her to groan and look away. You nudged her shoulder gently, so gently she almost didn’t feel it like all the harsh ones she was used to.
“So you're back.”
She hummed softly, nodding her head “Indeed I am” You turned to look at the water “I prayed to Ares you know.”
“For me?” She playfully gasped, causing you to let out a chuckle “Yeah, I’m a pretty persuasive girl, so I asked if he would let you come home safely… thought it was worth a shot … I still need your help training and all so ~”
Clarisse stayed silent for a moment “I think it was this little man on your necklace that got me home.” You turned to look at her and giggled softly “St. Christopher?”
Clarisse hummed nodding her head, but after a moment she smiled and looked up at you “Hey is that the same Christopher tha-” you cut her off quickly “Nuh uh and never compare them.”
She lifted her hands in defense, smiling softly, this conversation felt different for some reason and you couldn’t grasp why.
Clarisse wasn’t even a friend, and she would never go for you if she was even into girls, I mean look at her and then you.
Clarisse took the necklace off and placed it back into the palm of your hand, to which you quickly transferred it to your neck, the warmth from her skin still on it.
“Suppose I should go to my party.” She spoke while standing from the dock leaving you behind.
She was halfway down the dock when you decided to get up as well, taking your time as you waited for her to disappear before following after her.
“Thought you would give me a better welcome home than just watching me leave.” She joked from a distance which made you laugh “Well, you don't seem like the hugging type” you pointed out. “Well … you aren't wrong, but maybe I’ll make an exception for you.”
“Maybe? I don't want to get over there and then be pushed into the water.” you giggled, but you couldn't help but move closer to her.
You walked faster until you were able to wrap her in your arms and duck your face into the crook of her neck.
Clarisse wrapped her arms around you and let out a small sigh. She had a feeling that she felt something good towards you. You were the first to recognize that not everyone is always brave on quests, even when they act like it, the bravery they show is fake half of the time.
She realized you cared for her without you even realizing it at all.
“You smell like the ocean” Clarisse mumbled which made you giggle, “like a sailor of something.”
“Well I did go canoeing earlier with my friend,” you responded quietly which caused Clarisse to snort.
In that short moment, you understand why your parent's lover always hugged them for so long upon their return, because they never knew if they would return.
“So you gonna kiss me or something?” Clarisse asked, “Are you always this blunt?” you spoke, a shy blush burning your face as you pulled back from her neck.
“Well, would you prefer me to be shy like you? If that's the case we might be pining for a long time” She pointed out which made you giggle before gently bringing your lips to hers.
She brought her hand up to the back of your head and pushed you further into the kiss. She pulled away for a moment taking in a deep breath “You taste like the water as well”
“Sorry, fell in while canoeing.”

Clarisse and Nerdy/shy reader>>>>>>> PLEASE
(Warnings: A bit suggestive but not in a lot of details)
A/N - Ratsonastick comeback???

Clarisse liked girls who were like her. Strong, hot, angered. But she loved the shy girls more.
Yes on occasions they could be annoying but something about seeming like the man in the relationship just made a heat form in the pit of her stomach.
When she saw you walking in those short jeans shorts that you keep forgetting to throw out, and dorky oversized glasses, she knew you couldn't fight.
Strange thought, she knew that, but she wanted you to be weak so she could be the one to yell at people for you.
It wasn’t love at first sight, nuh uh. She probably lowkey thought you were a bit ugly and only liked the idea of just protecting and bossing you around. She couldn’t help it. It wasn't till a week later did she finally get a break from camp activities and saw you again at the lake.
You were with your friends, talking about random stuff. She heard you complain about getting sunburnt and wanting to swim but your friends only wanted to sun tan to which you groaned and rolled onto your stomach.
She took a break from talking to her friend and looked at you, your little bathing suit that seemed a little small. How your thighs were pressed together making your ass lift more. She wanted to aggressively grab your skin.
She wanted you to squish your thighs against her face.
It wasn't until the next week did she say anything to you. You were walking and accidentally bumped into her, how this happened she didn't know but she was secretly grateful.
“I'm so sorry,” you rushed out, afraid she would punish you somehow. Clarisse held onto your shoulders as you steadied yourself “It's cool’” she spoke, in a voice you couldn't figure out.
“Wanna go out?” She asked out of the blue, catching you off guard. “Ermm yeah” you replied, part of you said yes out of fear, but the other half was because she was hot.
Clarisse wanted to be direct with you when you started dating. Have her hand on you, sometimes connected with yours but mostly anywhere else.
She liked how you crossed your legs when you sat next to her, and how hers would spread open to rest near yours.
She would force you to sit in the crowded Ares cabin, she liked staring at you while she relaxed on the couch. She would yell at the siblings while they whispered about the two of you. She knew you wouldn't say anything, so she did.
When you guys started to become a bit more … active.
SHE WENT WILD.
Like screw trying to be respectful, her hands would travel all over you. Biting into your skin and licking it gently after. Smacking your skin if she was frustrated and then quickly soothing it afterward with soft kisses.
She liked you in her lap, so she could lean back and look at you.
And it wasn't even during these suggestive moments she liked you sitting face forward in her lap. It was whenever you could be without feeling shy or embarrassed by the gaze of others.
She liked watching you talk in her lap, watching how your face changed slightly when she grazed her hands over your thighs. Teasingly tugging down your shorts.
She liked it when you were rude towards her, well depending on the situation, but if it was her being playful and you had sass she would go crazy. A smile would cross her face and she would begin teasing you.
If you are in her lap she would raise her knee up so you fall forward closer to her and start teasing you which would lowkey make you get embarrassed.
You go on about saying how you're never going to speak again and she would start gasping
“No no no I need to hear my princess's voice, I'm only teasing.”
And she would kiss you softly on the neck and smile.

Hello!! if you want could you maybe write about serious\angry Percy and reader who has a short temper?
Yes, I'll try my hardest! (Remember I will only be doing aged-up Percy not when he is like a child!)
PercyJackson x Fem!Reader

Percy and you were a strange mix, some may say. Even when the two of you were only friends it seemed like you never got along, but when questioned about the bickering, the two of you only laughed
"Oh, that was nothing!"
"It's all good!"
so when the two of you started to date, many people questioned if it was a good idea.
"Wait why wouldn't it be?" you asked during a meal "Well you know ... Percy can be serious and a bit angry I just feel like with him always trying to protect you, you might get angry ..." Your friend Isabelle muttered.
"You're short-tempered and with him being all head honcho You'll probably end up killing each other." Your friend Reese then said this and left your mouth open.
Could that really happen, sure stuff happens but he hasn't gone all crazy on you yet.
Maybe he hasn't taken the anger out on me because of all the missions he has been going on, you thought to yourself.
You finished up your food and left the table, needing to clear your head, and what better place to do that than by the lake!
You took your time walking to your spot taking in the laughter of other campers, but then your mind started to pay attention to the rock in your shoe, "Oh my Fuc-"
"Hey there!" A voice cut you off, and when you turned to look you saw Percy, his face was glowing with a smile and his hair gently swayed with the breeze.
"Hey ocean boy." You smiled almost forgetting about the rock, he gently kissed your cheek and grabbed your hand as you continued to walk.
He didn't know where you were going, but he was in it for the company of his best girl.
So much had been going on in camp that you felt like you hadn't seen him in so long when you started to get comfortable with his hand In yours, a voice called for him.
It caught the two of your attention and you both turned around, and you saw a camper named John coming running up to him "Percy ... you gotta come check out this new training station."
John didn't even have to finish his sentence before Percy let go of your hand and started to run with him towards the station.
You were left standing there sighing, you started to feel the rock once more and you groaned in annoyance.
You shortly arrived at the lake and took some time to calm down, but it wasn't till another camper came up behind you and scared you.
"Y/N PERCY GOT HURT." The kid shouted causing you to quickly stand up and run towards the Apollo cabin where he supposedly was.
When you walked through the door you saw Will fixing him up, and you quickly walked over. "Y/n!" Percy spoke up when he noticed you, his face was fine and he looked at you in annoyance, like he didn't want you there.
"Percy what happened!" You asked your brows furrowed in worry, Will took a step away as he had finished wrapping up his arm. 'It's nothing ... just a little cut stop worrying." Percy grumbled as he pulled his sleeve down.
"Stop worrying? Percy, you left me and then got hurt because of some stupid training station, how can I not worry?" You spoke and started to become frustrated, you stepped forward and grabbed his hurt arm causing him to groan.
The rock in your shoe appeared again causing you to feel overwhelmed, it just wouldn't go away! "For the God's sake!" You pretty much growled as you bent down to dig inside your shoe.
Percy sat there watching and rolled his eyes, he couldn't see the reason as to why this was a big deal, he always got hurt! And your constant worrying just annoyed him.
"Y/n can you leave?" he asked with a sigh as he kept his eyes on you as you stood up to look at him "But?"
"But what? I just want to be alone and your smothering is annoying, it's like I can't do anything fun." He crossed his arms as he slightly scrunched his face.
You were slightly stunned ... this boy "Fine, excuse me for being worried about someone I love." You yelled as you turned around to leave the cabin in anger.
Percy watched you leave and he let out a sigh of relief, Will who unfortunately was there (Poor soul) walked over to Percy and kept quiet.
But after a few short moments, he spoke up again "You know you shouldn't be so harsh on her, she just cares for you and gets a bit frustrated when you brush her off like that and get angry."
Percy lowered his gaze and sighed "But she's like a pest I can't get rid of most days."
"Then break up with her, but don't hate her all because she cares for you."
Percy sighed but nodded his head.
Later that day Percy went to find you, he knew you were at your spot. He never went to it himself, but he always noticed you taking off in that direction.
When he saw you sitting on a log in front of the water he smiled, you looked so pretty to him, and he realized why he didn't just want to stay friends with you. He wasn't to be able to say such a pretty girl was his, and yes you were a pain some days, but so was he.
"Did you get that rock out?" he asked softly as he put his hands in his sweatshirt and sat down next to you. You kept your gaze forward, not wanting to look at him "No ... it's in the fabric of the shoe." You mumbled out with a sigh which caused him to smile a little bit.
"Give me the shoe." He commanded, and you did as he asked, something you always did because you trusted him. He looked for the rock and when he saw the small little bump in the shoe he took his pocket knife out to cut a small hole and squeeze out the rock.
He gave you the shoe back and you mumbled out a thanks. This is what the two of you did after an argument, simply sit near each other until things felt right.
You let the ocean do the talking this time for you, allowing the waves to plummet right in front of you.
"I love you too, you know that right," he spoke up finally and you hummed. But this didn't sit right with Percy and he turned to look at you "With words ... I want you to say it."
"Yes, I know you love me, Percy." You spoke with a sigh, turning to look at him and he smiled, "Good"

Painting Red
ClarisseLaRue x Fem!ShyReader
(SORRY NOT FULLY EDITED)

You never talked to Clarisse, partly because you never had the time to make new friends and she was a scary person to approach.
You heard of the stories, of how she would beat kids up and try to drown them in the toilets, all these stories made it a lot harder even to want to befriend her.
But it wasn't until the day you hated the most (besides capturing the flag) arrived were you forced to talk to her.
Camp Day.
Camp day was exactly what it sounded like, it was a day when all the older campers were paired up and had to create an activity all the younger campers would enjoy and they would rotate in groups to come to your activities.
As a younger camper, you hated it, and you still do to this day.
“Ugh, I’m so happy! I'm paired with Luke.” Your friend Hailey said as she skipped next to you “Who's that?” You asked, your mind slightly clouded as you stressed about your partner being Clarisse.
“You're kidding right,” She asked as she stopped skipping and looked at you. You shook your head and stopped walking to look at her. Hailey shook her head and put a sweet smile back onto her face “Okay whatever, who's your partner.”
You looked down at the paper to double-check, maybe it had magically changed? Nope.
“Clarisse la Rue.” You mumbled, folding the paper back up and shoving it into the pockets of your jean shorts. Hailey’s face went into a pencil-straight smile and nodded her head slowly which made you scoff and walk past her.
“Maybe it won't be that bad…” She started to say before you cut her off with a side-eye. “Okay just go find her and talk about what you guys want to do,” Hailey suggested which made you sigh.
“She's going to want to do hardcore things! I just want to sit and paint and yell at the younger kids.” You mumbled which made her smile “Hey! At least you guys have something in common! Yelling at the younger campers.”
You shook your head and eventually, Hailey walked off getting distracted by something. You kept on walking, trying to find the curly brunette who always seemed angry at the world.
Eventually, you found her, sitting on the steps of her cabin eating an apple. You took in a deep breath and decided to walk up to her, it was either now or sometime later. When you grew close enough Clarisse looked up and scanned your body, trying to search for something, or maybe memorize what you looked like.
“Hi Clarisse, sorry to bother but we were paired up for the camp day thing …” You started but she cut you off. “Okay, pick something to do.” She mumbled and you nodded your head, “Okay!”
You stood there for a few more seconds before abruptly turning and walking away, leaving Clarisse staring at the back of you with a weird look.
Another camper from her cabin walked out and stood next to her, “Why are you letting her choose? She probably picked something stupid.”
Clarisse shrugged her shoulders “Are you trying to be nice to her?” The camper started again which made Clarisse give them a mean look “Stop saying stupid things, I’m just not going to be there half of the time, so I might as well let her do something she likes.”
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
The next day you gathered some items and started to walk towards the crafts cabin, it was sunny out, and you had to pull your hair back so the sweat wouldn’t gather in your hair. You secretly wished that Clarisse would help you carry these things, you had seen her carry heavier things and act like it was nothing, so where was she when you needed her for the first time.
Almost like you had manifested it Clarisse appeared at your side, her face was blank with annoyance but you still whispered out a small hello just to be nice to her. “So what are we doing?”
‘We’? The last thing you heard from another camper was that you were doing this on your own, now she's saying it's going to be a group activity like it should be? What!
“Uhm I was thinking we could just keep it simple and do painting.” You spoke readjusting the things in your hands, she gave you a weird look for what you chose but you looked forward “Hey! You said I could choose. If you have an issue with painting, that's on you for not telling me.”
You talked back to her, Clarisse was a bit surprised how strong your voice sounded, it was almost attractive to her.
The two of you continued to walk and when you arrived at the small cabin you placed the items down letting out a small sigh of relief.
Clarisse sat down and tossed a ball in between her hands as she avoided looking at you. You didn’t want to ask her anything so you quietly started to get to work. Placing out plates and bottles of paints for the next day.
After a few moments Clarisse looked up at you and watched as you started to work, she couldn't help herself but stare at you from behind, you were cute.
For a few moments Clarisse started to feel ashamed of herself, what was she doing? She was supposed to ditch you like she had been telling everyone and yet she sat here. For some reason your presence was nice, and how you didn’t force her into conversations like everyone else.
You on the other hand felt a bit awkward, the silence was nice but since you've never really talked to her before it felt like there was this tension surrounding you. After 30 minutes Clarisse finally got up from the comfy chair and walked over to you “Do you need anything?” She asked, her face seemed like she was being snarky but deep down she honestly wanted to help.
“Uhm could you just help me carry these boxes back to the shed?” The boxes were almost emptied but Clarisse still reached for the one that looked the heaviest.
The two of you walked out of the art cabin and remained side by side, it was a bit awkward but also comforting. No one looked at you strangely because you had her at your side, it was nice.
Clarisse wanted to speak up but for once she didn’t know what to say. She didn’t hate you and she genuinely wanted you to like her for some reason. These feelings were so strange to her, and a part of her didn't know what to do. It had only been a short few hours and yet she was still craving to grow closer to you.
As you grew closer to the shed you quickly opened the door placed the box on the ground and turned to face Clarisse, “So I guess I’ll see you tomorrow then?” you spoke softly, your hands moving around because they didn’t know where to go and Clarisse noticed how your cheeks were flushed from the air.
“Yeah, see you tomorrow.”
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
When it came time for campers to come to your activity you stood there nervously, fixing things that didn’t even need adjusting.
Clarisse was getting annoyed by how frantic you seemed and stood up from her chair “Y/N sit down.” She ordered you in a gentle voice and you obeyed, sitting down in the seat she had been sitting in before you, her scent still lingering.
She stood with her arms crossed looking at the door, only a few moments later and campers started to flood in. there were so many Ares campers and a part of you wondered if Clarisse had told them to come (She did.)
You stood up from the chair and started to explain what to do, which was to paint whatever and just not get messy. You turned to the record player and turned it up so people could listen to music as they talked.
You were proud of yourself, for doing this all, and eventually found yourself sitting down and painting. You didn’t know what to do exactly but you found yourself drawing a heart. And not just a simple one but a scientifically accurate heart.
To some it might have looked weird because it most definitely wasn't something cute to paint, but as Clarisse sat down next to you she nudged your shoulder with a smirk on her face “That's pretty”
You smiled at her, turning back to your paper and looking at it. You could still see her looking at you, or maybe it was the painting in your peripheral vision.
Clarisse couldn’t paint, she never really tried, so she decided to draw the moon and sun. She hated how it looked, it was like a kid had drawn it which made her grow slightly angry. She let out huff and she placed her brush down which caught your attention.
“What's wrong?” You asked softly and she rolled her eyes “Nothing.” You nodded your head gently and looked away “If it was nothing you wouldn’t be angry … So tell me how I can help.” Clarisse looked at you surprised you wanted to help her, even though she was having one of her fits.
“I cant draw the moon, or the sun.” She sighed and you nodded your head moving slightly closer to her to look at the paper. Clarisse liked how you smelled, your shampoo and perfume mixed together to create such a calming aroma.
She relaxed as she watched you sketch something out for her using a pencil “There you go.” You smiled as you leaned away.
Clarisse nodded her head as she started to paint inside the lines, she missed the warmth you gave her when you were close.
When the activity ended Clarisse and you were left cleaning everything, you didn’t mind, humming slightly to the song on the record player.
Clarisse tossed things into the trash whereas you were a bit more careful not wanting the paint to splatter on the ground.
You were both quiet, Clarisse occasionally looking up to see what you were doing. When you finished cleaning you both came a little bit closer combining the trash together.
While you did so a plate accidentally flung back and splattered onto you which caused you to gasp quietly.
Clarisse stood there covering her face so she wouldn't laugh “Don’t you dare laugh Clarisse.” you spoke, your eyes still closed so you wouldn't see the mess on you. “I’m not … I promise” She whispered small breaths of air escaping her mouth instead of laughter.
“It's all on my face” you whispered as you brought your hand up to feel it, “Mhmmm” She hummed as she looked around for a paper towel.
“Here let me” She whispered as she grew closer to you, the breath from her nose fanning your cheek gently as she brushed your skin with the towel.
The moment strangely felt intimate, or maybe a part of you wanted it to be.
“I almost got it all” She mumbled as she turned your chin to the other way to rub the paint off the other side. Her movements were slow, almost like she didn’t want the moment to end. She then started to scrub your lips, but after a few seconds it wasn't the towel that was touching you, it was her finger. Gently caressing your lip causing it to open slightly.
“Y/n?” She whispered out softly causing you to hum in response “Can I?” She asked, not wanting to fully say it.
You opened your eyes slightly realizing how close she truly was, and all you did was nod before closing your eyes once more and feeling her lips instead of her finger.
Her lips were soft and tasted like cherries, like she had prepared for this moment ahead of time and wore chapstick.
After a few moments she pulled away her slightly warmed face “Okay well I should go” She whispered taking a step back and leaving you behind confused.
Clarisse felt a bit ashamed, not because she kissed a girl, but because she kissed someone, period.
It felt weird to share such an intimate moment with someone, it's something she never really cared to do before (especially because she was an Ares kid) Being in love with someone just never crossed her mind, it was always just other ways to appeal to her father.
As she left she started to miss the feeling and regret not staying closer to you, she wanted you.
You on the other hand were still standing where you were left, your fingers gently grazing your lips, the feeling of her chapstick still on your lower lip.
While you looked for the art you made you started to realize you couldn't find it on the drying rack, it was gone … but Clarisse’s still had hers here, probably meaning she took yours and left hers behind for you.
The next few days you didn’t look for Clarisse, hoping that eventually she’d come to you when she was ready. And when it came to the fifth day, footsteps could be heard walking towards your bunk in your cabin.
When you looked up from your book you saw her standing there, wearing jean shorts for what seemed like the first time (Hopefully not the last they had you gagged truly)
“Kiss me” She spoke out like it was a demand, she wanted to feel you again, she wanted to know how it felt to feel love and not violence for once.
And you obeyed.

Hey, no worries if you’re not comfortable with this but if you are would you please write a Clarisse x f! Daughter of Athena reader where the reader is sort of a know it all goodie two shoes and it drives clarisse absolutely insane so clarisse in a very clarisse like way makes it clear that she does not like her (except she kinda respects the fact that reader never shuts up), and they live life like that for a while until one day Clarisse finds out (idk maybe they’re sparring or playing capture the flag and she sees the scars or maybe she’s on laundry duty as punishment for starting a fight and finds stains on her clothes or something else entirely) that reader has been struggling with sh and c*tting (bc anxiety and self loathing and never being enough and always ruining everything etc) and has sort of an oh sh*t moment but then helps the reader get the help she needs?
ClarisseLaRue x Fem!AthenaReader
A/n- I hope it is okay that this is a short story <3
Warnings: Self-harm, bullying a bit
Clarisse didn't like you … shocking am I right? But it wasn’t because you were mean or anything but just because you always excelled at everything you did. Art? You were great. Reading? You finished the book a week ago.
The only power she had over you was in sparring, so she used it to her advantage, always asking you to be her partner.
You knew she hated you, you weren't dense and noticed how she was always so harsh during practicing. Or how she always rolled her eyes when you started to talk about something you loved.
At first, you didn't care, talking about books and art was just something you really liked. But then late at night when you couldn't sleep during the hot summers you started to think about her and the things she would say about you.
You hated it, and you hated yourself a bit more as well.
It started off with small things to get yourself some type of relief, or sometimes it was for punishment.
Like a clothing pin, scratching your legs slightly as if you were just itching them. Then it grew larger over time.
You thought this would help you, but the more you thought about it each time, you realized that it only made you hate yourself more and feel ashamed.
Clarisse didn’t know about this, why would she? She continued on with her life making remarks towards you.
One day she got in trouble for instigating a fight and for that she was out on laundry duty for the Athena cabin. She groaned internally when campers kept dropping off loads for her to do.
Then she saw you carrying a green bin on your hip and she rolled her eyes continuing folding the clothes in front of her. You placed the bin down and thanked her, but the thing that caught her attention was how you wore long sleeves, especially on such a hot day.
She watched as you walked away, your hips swaying as you ran back to your friends. When she finished the load she started to work on yours, tossing some cute shirts into a bin of warm water to which she started to pour soap in.
She kneeled on the ground, her hair pulled back into a pony tail and started to swirl your clothes around. Then she caught a shirt that had a blood stain on it and she picked it up.
She started to think it was from a fight, that you were just cleaning yourself up. But then why weren’t you showing off your new scars?
Then she thought harder and realized you weren't even acting like your usual self, that maybe it wasn't from a fight, or at least with another person.
She got curious, which was strange for her because when things didn't involve her she could care. But she searched for you and found you sitting on the steps that lead to the farthest side of the lake.
She stumbled down the steps and you looked up with confused eyes as she sat down next to you.
“Clarisse” You mumbled and she rolled her eyes “I know what you've been doing” She started off, her legs slightly spreading as she got comfortable. Your eyes peeled open and you seemed panicked “Oh”
“I get it … and I'm sorry” She quietly spoke, feeling embarrassed for the first time in a while.
She looked at you and managed to send you a quick smile. You both sat in silence for a while, listening to the waves and campers in the distance
“How can I help you.” Clarisse finally asked, looking back at you, noticing how your fingers were wrapped tightly together. “I don't know … don’t tell anyone maybe?” you spoke and Clarisse shook her head “I won't tell a camper, but we should tell an adult.”
“We?” you asked, your gaze turning to look at her, Clarisse scoffed “I’m trying to help … especially after realizing some of this is probably my fault.” She admitted and you nodded your head looking back at your lap.
“Let's just sit here for a little while longer.” You mumbled and Clarisse nodded her head, nudging your leg with her knee. She glanced at your covered arm, and gently reached out to drag her finger on the fabric until she reached your hand, spreading your fingers so she could intertwine hers with yours.
You wanted to cry but you didn't, instead you smiled “Didn’t realize you're such a softy.” you teased and Clarisse rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help a smile gracing her face. “Just tell me about a book.”

more bully clarisse?? (only if you can xx) :))
yes of course! I like switching some of this up so we are gonna do a Bully!ClarisselaRue x fem!ArtistReader
˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆𖦹˖°𓇼⋆
You like art, you aren't crazy good at it but if someone told you to draw something pretty you could do it. And that's why you always found yourself signing up for classes, and over the summer at camp, you would sign up for the activities.
You just liked that you could do something that people would praise you for.
But others in your class didn't have that same mindset … such as Clarisse la Rue. She had to take this class because all the other extracurriculars were taken, and she was annoyed.
The two of you didn’t get along, you didn’t mind her but she hated you for some reason, maybe it was your cheerful and quiet attitude, or how you always helped people. She just didn’t like it, she’d tell her teammates about her hatred whenever she saw you walk outside and past the field, one day she even took it to the lengths of throwing a softball at you, knocking your paint brushes onto the ground and shattering the new pottery cup you had made.
Ever since that day, you tried to distance yourself, you hated her, but not to the lengths of trying to torture her every day like she did.
So when your art teacher held the two of you back to talk you started to enterally groan.
“The two of you need to stop whatever is going on.” Ms. Principe spoke leaning against the front of her desk, she was a short older woman, but she had so much passion for life.
“I have no issue.” You answered but Clarisse spoke up “I do.” she answered truthfully, her arms crossed over her chest.
“Yeah and why do you?” You asked, turning to look at her with a questioning look, your arms slowly raising to cross over your chest. Clarisse looked at you and then rolled her eyes.
No matter what you could never figure out why she hated you so much, even going to the lengths of asking people who knew her well, they all just said things along the lines of “Maybe you made her jealous and upset” But how could you do that if you have never and talked to each other!
“Okay that's enough … You two will sit next to each other until I see a mutual connection.” Ms. Principe Spoke, uncrossing her arms and walking to the other side of the desk, “Okay out.” She told the two of you, ignoring the complaints that rushed out of Clarisse.
When the two of you made it outside Clarisse turned to you and nudged you “Don't speak to me ever.” And with that she walked away, meeting up with her friends on the other side of the hall. She smiled and laughed with them, and for a moment that smile seemed so familiar.
The next day you walked back into the classroom, the scent of a candle that wasn't allowed to burn, and the slight breeze made your shoulders relax. Until you noticed Clarisse sitting right next to your spot, and then you remembered. You tried to sneak towards the back and hide in a different seat, but Ms. Principe caught you and guided you towards your usual seat.
At Least Clarisse was nice enough to not sit in the seat you always tried to get to, you liked to keep up your pattern.
Class continued and the two of them didn't talk nor even look at each other. Things were going okay, that is until she spilled water all over your painting.
She tried to say it was an accident but I noticed her arm aggressively hit the cup.
You spent the rest of class trying to fix it, and later that day you noticed things seemed strange. Your locker was destroyed pretty much on the inside, and your homework was taken and ripped. And the only person you could think of who could have done it was Clarisse.
She did it because she was angry, and you knew it.
When you saw her leaving practice, you walked up to her, trying to ignore the glances that everyone sent you. Then you stopped in front of her and her smile dropped, your arms crossing over your chest as you watched her sling her bag over her shoulder and grabbing her bat.
“Why are you doing it?” you asked, starting to feel embarrassed “Doing what?”
“Don't play dumb Clarisse. I know you have had it out for me, so just tell me why you hate me.”
She let out a chuckle and shook her head “It's funny how you don't even remember.” She mumbled, pushing past you and continuing walking. You followed her, quick on her tail. “Then remind me!” you spoke sternly and she quickly whipped around walking closer to you, to which you quickly took a step back trying to create distance.
“Last summer you were volunteering at the public library, you had never met me remember? And I liked you, I thought you were so cute with your stupid smile, we even talked and I thought you liked me back … but then one day some dick comes in and you are being all smitten with him.” She spoke, her finger raising to wave around in your face.
You remembered, the day she came in to return a book, a smile on her face which made you smile back.
You weren't even supposed to volunteer that day but the older lady called in sick and you were the replacement.
You thought Clarisse was really pretty, she was on your mind for so long and you even told your friends about her! But then one day she just stopped showing up, and you slowly forgot about her.
You stood in front of her for a moment, memories flashing in your brain and your heart slowly started to melt. You Remembered the boy, he was some kid trying to flirt with you and you just were completely uncomfortable, praying someone would save you.
You snapped out of your thoughts when Clarisse scoffed and walked away, you wanted to run after her, but you didn't.
The next day you woke up in a sour mood.
You knew who was going to be at school, and you didn’t want to see it … or her.
But instead of hiding under the covers you went to school, and a day of nightmares began. It started on the bus when one of the Softball girls knocked their cup of coffee into your cup, laughing slightly as she walked away. Then when someone locked you in a bathroom stall.
The list honestly just went on and on. It got to the point when at the end of the day instead of leaving like usual and walking past the fields you hid in the art room alone.
Painting and crying every once in a while you sat there, the teacher had left so you were alone. But that's how you liked it.
Clarisse on the other hand had finished Softball practice and was packing up her bags. She was the last to leave, but today she took longer to be curious as to where you were.
She had told all her friends to make your day terrible so then you would run back to her. She knew it was wrong, that she even yelled at you and made it seem like she hated you, but in reality, she was just jealous and still wanted you to look like her the same way you did that Summer.
So she did what anyone would do and looked for you, she roamed the halls, checked the library, and anywhere else she saw you standing.
Then she checked the art room and saw you, you looked just like the first time she saw you, the sun flowing through the windows and shining through your hair. Your cheek was red from resting your face against your fist.
She thought for a moment if it would be a good idea to go into the room. She knew you were upset, but she was upset first!
But before she could stop herself she opened the door and stepped inside, you raised your head and met her gaze, and Clarisse could've sworn her heart stopped.
She closed the door quietly and walked closer to you, noticing how you went back to your artwork, it was the project she had spilled water all over and she felt a bit bad for it.
“I like your art.’
“You ruined it, I hate it now.” You spoke in a voice that sounded clogged up from your snot tears. Clarisse sat down and she drummed her fingers on the table blowing out some air.
“I still like it.” She mumbled and you rolled your eyes “Please leave.”
Your voice pained her but she understood why, “I'm sorry.” She mumbled and you smacked your pencil harshly on the table and turned towards her. “For which part? Have your friends tortured me? Ruining all my art projects, Trashing everything I own?”
You asked and Clarisse closed her eyes for a moment “For all of it.”
It was silent for a moment. “I don't know why you hate me, all I did was talk to a kid I didn’t even want to,” you mumbled again scribbling on the corner of your project.
“You didn’t like him?” Clarisse asked, her hair starting to fall from her ponytail “No.”
“Then who did you like?”
You sighed “How dense are you, it was you of course.” you spoke with a huff, turning slightly away from her. But after a few seconds, you felt a hand on your shoulder turning you.
“I liked you too… I guess I was jealous and just being stupid.” She spoke, her voice softer than you had ever heard it. “Really?” you teased, not stopping the smile that graced your face, and Clarisse almost started to stutter. “Look I’ll talk to the team, I’ll make it right.”
You nodded your head licking your lips slightly, “And?”
“And I’ll take you out tonight, pick you up and everything.” you nodded your head and smiled “Yeah yeah sure.”

Clarisse was someone everyone knew about, she was the star on the field for the hammer throw (Which for those who dont know is when you throw a heavy ball in the air and you try to make it go a far distance … requires a LOT of upper arm muscles)
Everyone admired her, but you? You hate her. She always had something to say, especially ever since the day that you said no to givng her the homework answers.
Ever since that day she always picked on you, saying something that made you roll your eyes and tell her to get lost.
If you havent figured it out yet the reason why this all started was because she thought you were smart … everyone does, and thats why she had asked you for the answers. She though you would have said yes, an easy target, but she was mistaken when she realized how stubborn you are.
“What is the answer to this.” You heard a voice ask, disturbing your peaceful evening in the library. “When will you ever stop.” You mumbled, not even having to look up to realize it was Clarisse.
“Once you give me the answers” She answered with a roll to her eyes as if you should have already known the answer.
You stood up grabbing your book but before you fully stepped away from the table you grabbed your notebook before she could grab it which made her sigh. Getting up she followed you as you walked down the dark isles of books, dim lights following the two of you.
“Don't you have practice to get to?” you asked softly stopping abruptly which caused her to almost crash into you, “stalking me Y/n? How do you know I got practice.” She asked, not stopping the smirk that covered her face.
You turned to look at her, an annoyed look on your face “Everyone knows when you have practice… don't go thinking you're so special now.” you mumbled starting to walk again but she cut off your exit by standing in front of you and raising her arms. “Where are you going so soon?” she asked a piece of her hair falling in her face and for a moment you felt something change in your stomach, maybe it was a fear or maybe it was butterflies.
“Clarisse … move.” You mumbled, looking to meet her in the eyes but she shook her head “Give me the answers.” She spoke clearly, her smile dropping “I told you, Clarisse, keep dreaming.” she rolled her eyes and shook her head “I don't think you understand”
“I don't understand? You're the one who keeps trying to get answers from me even when I say no. if you don't understand the work then maybe you could ask me for help instead.” You spoke back with more of an annoyed voice, pushing her arms down which felt so strong in your grasp, and then walked away.
She followed your figure as you walked, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned her weight onto one hip. “You’ll regret this.” She yelled out and you just waved her off.
The next day you continued your life as usual, but this time you felt more people staring at you. It wasn't until your friend stopped you in the hallway did you found out why “Is it true?” she asked to which you looked at her with a puzzled look “Is what true?” you mumbled and she seemed even more confused “that you made a move on Clarisse.”
You stopped for a moment “Hello? Clarisse? The girl I hate with all my life? No way.” you let out a chuckle at the thought, but you couldn’t help the shake in your hands increase. You didn't know who made this rumor, or why they did it in the first place.
You have no issues with anyone (Except Clarisse) always trying to help others (Except Clarisse) theres no reason as to why someone would make such a weird rumor.
Later that day you found yourself in the library again, helping the librarian put the books away. You were on the top floor that no one ever really went to unless it was to make out. You looked outside the window and saw the teams playing on the field, Clarisse and her teammates had finished up because you saw her swinging her bag over her shoulder and walking off towards the library.
You let out an annoyed sigh hoping she wouldn't find you, but just as you thought of her you swore she looked up at you.
So you quickly pushed the cart forward so you weren't in front of the window anymore.
It didn't take long for her to find you, you turned down an aisle and saw her standing there leaning against the shelf. “Can I help you?” you asked as you grabbed a book and traced the shelf until you found a spot for it.
“Just wanted to see if you liked the little rumor?” she smiled coming closer to you “Oh yeah it was very clever” you spoke with a shrug as you walked down the aisle moving so you wouldn't hit her “All the teams were talking about it at practice.” You felt embarrassed for a moment but just shrugged your shoulders.
“Okay … oh and by the way Mrs.Cofin wants me to help you in English.” You mumbled as you turned back to look at her, her smirk wiped off. “What! You little shit why didn’t you say no!”
She yelled and you quickly hushed her “Don't you think I wanted to! I have no choice, if you don't pass her class you'll be kicked off the time. I’m doing you and the school a favor.”
You spoke annoyed, a frown on your face as she licked her lip and rolled her eyes, “Fine” she grumbled and walked off which made you shake your head.
The next day you were back in the Library, top floor for privacy as you sat at a small table. Clarisse showed up late which didnt surprise you, she flung her bag onto the floor and leaned on the palm of her hand.
You started to explain things to her looking over the notes the teacher had given you to help her. Clarisse couldn't help but not listen, she just stared at you with annoyance, but after a while, it started to feel like she was looking at you for another reason.
“Okay do you understand that?” you asked and she nodded her head, adverting her gaze from you and instead at the paper. “Yeah… yeah I understand” she spoke softly.
These tutoring sessions continued for the next few weeks, and even though it sucked, it started to feel like you both hated each other less.
She started to listen to what you said, and you took the time to learn about her sport so when she complained you understood what she was saying.
You both still made fun of each other, bickered often, and rolled your eyes at each other, but you both couldn't help it, it's just how it's always been.
But Clarisse picked on you less, smiled at you in the hallway, and always acknowledged your presence, and thats all you've ever needed from her.
One day something in the air made you think differently about her, and the thoughts made your stomach flutter. It didn't help that your friend started to tease you in the hallway about the possibility of her taking you to the upcoming prom since the two of you got along.
When you saw her walk past you in the hallway when you were with your friend, you couldn't help but follow her with your eyes, and when she smiled at you, your friend just watched you and how you reacted and let out a squeal when she saw you blush.
That afternoon you hated yourself, why did you like the girl that always had it out for you.
As you waited for her in the library, you laid your head down on the table, you wouldn't even work out if you started dating anyways. The two of you are complete opposites, and even know that you are semi-friends you still bicker, it would be a bad relationship.
Plus you saw her with that boy Ryan, so she probably doesn't even like girls.
You were snapped out of your thoughts when you felt someone tapped your head and sat down. You raised your gaze and watched as she got herself comfortable in her seat “What's wrong with you today?” she asked with a sigh as she finally stopped to look at you.
“Nothing … just thinking.”
“When are you not.” she snickered, but as she looked back at you, and realized you seemed actually upset her smile dropped.
“Okay … that's enough, just tell me what's wrong so you'll start yapping and we can end tutoring early,” she spoke up leaning back in the chair, her hand playing with the pencil she took from you 2 days ago.
"It's nothing really. Just something my friend said.” You mumbled shaking your head and opening your notebook. “Really? What’d she say.” Clarisse spoke a bit harsher sitting up in her chair. “I can do something.”
You shook your head “No! You don't have to do anything … it's not like we are together you don't have to take care of me.” You mumbled which made you mentally smack yourself ... who says that!
She paused and watched you as you flipped through your pages “Okay but what if I want to.”
You paused and looked at her confused “Want to what?”
“Take care of you,” she answered, a serious look on her face. You let out a short chuckle and looked away from her “You don't want to.”
“But I do.” She answered, you noticed how she sat up more, something she did when she was getting defensive, her knuckles turned slightly white as she clenched her hands, the rings cutting off some of her circulation.
"you really don't" you mumbled trying to convince yourself she didn't for some reason
“Says who,” she replied, her face still straight which confused you. Clarisse was being honest she wanted to help you, this whole time she always wanted to and the only reason she picked on you was that she knew no one else would, you were hers only.
“Says you Clarisse, you hate me.” You replied, scrunching your eyebrows in confusion as if you had missed something.
She scoffed “I thought you were smart.” She dropped the pencil on the table and slouched in the chair, her arms crossing over her stomach as her legs widened.
Your mouth slightly opened and you shook your head back, confused “I'm sorry … did I miss something?” you asked and she scoffed “Yeah maybe the part where I like you! Do you really think I would’ve complied with these tutoring sessions if I didn't?”
“Uhm yeah … your sport-” She cut you off “ That I dont care about.”
“Okay, but the rumor-” She cut you off again “Was only created so people thought you were only into me so no one would go after you.”
You sat there dumfounded for a few moments, “Oh”
“Oh” she answered back, she looked away for a moment “So I’m guessing you dont like me?”
You closed your eyes and shook your head “Okay woah woah woah … lets slow down partner.” you raised your hands slightly and opened your eyes to see her smiling, inching closer to you.
Before you knew it her lips were on yours, and you had your arms wrapped around her shoulders. You never thought you would be one of those people who would be found making out in the library, yet here you are.
A nerd and a jock, opposites attract I suppose.
Anywho after a few moments she finally pulled back, a smile gracing her red lips that were plum from the kiss. “So I’ll take that as a yes?”
“A yes to what?” you asked still in a bet of a haze “A yes to being my prom date.”
“Oh yeah”

Blind Love
Clarisse La Rue x Fem!Reader (happy Ending)
When you return from a mission, hurt and partially blind, Clarisse finds herself growing close to you. But the day you can finally see again she grows nervous that you won't recognize her voice.
Requests are still open
Warnings: Blood, aggression

The first time everyone saw you again, you were bleeding from the eyes, crying hysterically while blindly walking through the camp woods with your friends on your shoulders.
You were a quiet and sweet girl, always with your two other friends, but even though you only had been at camp for a few weeks, you were sent on a quest.
You didn't have time to remember people, to memorize their faces, you hoped to do that when you returned but unfortunately, you were attacked moments before entering the campgrounds for your return.
Chiron ran to you, or at least that's who you thought it was, you couldn't see and all you could do was keep limping with your friend on your back.
There were three of you, but Milo sacrificed himself to give you guys a chance. So you ran with Lila who hit her head, on your shoulders, until something sliced your eyes. You stumbled, screaming in pain and gripping at your eyes as you felt the blood travel down your face.
Whatever did it to you, didn't want to kill you fell on the ground for Lila, throwing her over your shoulders once more and continuing to try and go in the direction of the camp.
You walked to the healing infirmary with two people guiding you and eventually sat down on a bed while many voices yelled in the background.
You felt hopeless. You were hopeless, especially when they called out that Lila was dead.
They covered your eyes with bandages, and you couldn't help but dampen them with blood and tears.
Someone squeezed your shoulder and you only straightened your back and stayed still. “They will heal with the medicine we will provide, but you need to keep them covered … if they get infected then it's over.” A boy with a gentle voice told you.
Holding your hand to help you get off the bed.
They wanted to set you in your bed and allow you to finally relax but you refused. You wanted to sit in the chair on the porch of your cabin, if you couldn't see nature you wanted to at least feel it.
And that's what you did, almost every day. You couldn't do anything else, you wouldn't talk to anyone, too devastated about what happened to your friends to try and make more. Without sight, you couldn't train, walk around, or explore.
So you sat and simply breathed.
But it wasn't till one day when a camper named Clarisse made the wrong choice at the wrong time.
She didn’t know you, not many did, you were quiet before and now you were like a ghost. And talking to you did not sound appealing to her.
So when she was walking past a camper that unfortunately left your cabin she decided to trip them because her siblings next to her dared her to.
But then she heard a deep voice call her, Chiron.
“Clarisse, we talked about this.”
Clarisse let out a sigh and turned around to look at him as her siblings ran off, “About what?”
“About your abuse towards other campers, just because your father is the god of war doesn't mean you have to always prove to him you can be aggressive.”
You didn't know this girl, but you thanked her for saving you from Chiron. Chiron had been visiting you daily to try and convince you to do things, but you always whispered a no.
“You need to be friendlier … help others.” He spoke once more, an idea brewing in his head “Which is why I want you to help Y/n … bring her to the lake”
You let out a sigh, your eyebrows furrowing together in annoyance, now you couldn't say no to him.
Clarisse looked at him annoyed, her arms crossing and she rolled her eyes. Chiron waved her to follow him and she did, approaching you as you sat there.
“y/n, you need to get up. You like sitting in the ocean and it's time to move.” Chiron spoke, he didn't want you to think you had a choice.
“I can't see, why would I want to go to the lake if I can't even see it.” You mumbled looking in the direction you thought he was in. “You still have a few other senses you can use to enjoy yourself there.”
You sighed once more and turned your head away from him “Again. I can't see … how you plan on getting me there.”
Chiron let out a chuckle ‘Well this is where Clarisse will come in clutch.” Clarisse looked at Chiron with anger, she did not want to help you, she had better things to do than this.
Chiron grabbed your arm and helped you walk to Clarisse and gave her your arm.
When he went to leave he placed his hand down on her shoulder “You can't hurt the blind … it's unfair.”
While he walked away he chuckled “Maybe you'll learn a thing or two about being kind, Y/n is a good one.”
Clarisse looked at you, her tongue poking the side of her cheek in annoyance. When she thought you’d say something to her, you didn’t.
“Are we going to move?” you finally spoke up, your arm frozen in her grasp. “Oh…” Clarisse mumbled as she led you down the steps and the dirt paths.
She didn’t mind the silence, she found herself enjoying the company without feeling the need to always be talking.
Every once in a while, she found herself looking at you, how you still moved your head around as if you were looking for things to see, but instead it was only the sounds. She took notice how every once in a while you'd stumble and your grip would tighten on her arm. She noticed all these things and enjoyed them.
When you finally arrived at the Lake, Clarisse picked a good spot and sat you down and then sat right next to you.
She never really liked the water, always finding it aggressive, and not in a delightful way, and she hated how the sand always got caught in her hair. But she took notice of how your shoulders softened at the familiar sounds that you had kept yourself from for weeks, and she found herself smiling.
“You like the water?” Clarisse asked softly, finding herself caring if you were ready to talk yet or not. “Yes … I grew up by the ocean, it makes me think of better times.” You mumbled, your fingers digging into the sand.
You hate the sand, but you still find yourself touching it trying to remember those times you played with it when you were younger.
Clarisse looked away from you and back at the lake, she wanted to hate Chiron for making her do this, but she couldn’t.
After a few moments, Clarisse looked back at you and memorized your face, she wondered what your eye color was and if they matched your personality. “Do you want to … touch the water?” Clarisse thought for a moment, looking around at things to do.
You had been sitting there for a while, soaking in the sun, she wasn't sure if you were bored. You nodded your head and stuck your arm out for her to grab, and she quickly took your hand, pulling you off the ground and slowly walking you toward the water.
The waves were small, making a limited amount of noise, but the scent still wavered in the air. You walked closer to the water, Clarisse held a loose grip on your hand not wanting to hurt you, and then you finally touched the water.
It was refreshing, almost felt like a new start to you, as if you were finally willing to try and live your life instead of sitting around all the time.
You inhaled softly as you stood there, and Clarisse did the same, finally looking away from you and out at the water. Watching the campers row small boats and splash each other with the water. For once she didn't feel the anger she constantly felt, a part of her wanted to thank Chiron, but instead, she silently thanked you.
After an hour you finally voiced that you were done, so Clarisse started to lead you back to your cabin. But instead of the usual route, she took a longer path, wanting you to spend some more time walking instead of going back to your cabin where you would sit back down.
You knew what she was doing, you had noticed the difference in paths and how long they took. A part of you wanted to ask why but you kept quiet.
Eventually, you got back to your cabin and she helped you to the door, you carefully opened it and felt around, following the string some of your younger siblings had set up for you to follow.
Clarisse watched as you went inside, she knew you couldn’t see her standing there, so she took her time leaving.
Every day she would go back to your cabin, saying it was Chiron who was making her help you but in reality, she just wanted you.
You started to open up to her, showing the lively personality that you had lost during the attack, and Clarisse loved it.
Things were perfect for both of you until it was the day to get your bandages off along with the stitches for good. While on your usual walk, you told Clarisse and for a moment you heard silence.
“Aren't you excited for me?” You asked softly squeezing her arm gently and you heard Clarisse hum softly “Yeah –”
“Will you be there for me?” you asked once more and you heard a soft hum from Clarisse again. You didn't think anything of it, but deep down Clarisse was upset. What if you saw her for who she is, an ugly person inside and out?
Later that day you went to the infirmary, sitting down on the bed with your foot gently shaking at how excited you are. Will walked over to you and started to unwarp your face and you heard the door open, figuring it was Clarisse you asked someone “Is Clarisse here?”
Will looked behind him and saw her, but before he opened his mouth Clarisse shook her head at him, staying near the door she waited. She didn't know why she didn't want to stay with you, she was always curious what your eye color was, but she still had that unfamiliar feeling of embarrassment.
“No … she uhm isn't,” Will answered you, and he noticed how your shoulders visibly fell in disappointment. A feeling that maybe Clarisse didn’t like you flooded your mind but you quickly tried to brush it off.
Will finally had the bandages off and started to unstitch your eyes, right before he finished Clarisse had left, not wanting you to see her.
You quickly opened your eyes, looking around, everything was so bright. You smiled and thanked Will, walking towards a mirror and pausing in fright right in front of it.
There were scars left behind, you were disappointed, you felt ugly and all you wanted to do was talk to Clarisse, but you had no idea what she looked like.
“They'll disappear eventually don't worry Y/n” Will comforted you and you only nodded and smiled. When you walked around Camp you asked some campers where Clarisse was but they all either said they didn't know, or it was best if you didn't know.
After an hour of searching you went back to your cabin defeated, it was nearly noon and campers were leaving to go get dinner, but you weren't feeling hungry.
As you grabbed onto the railing, a habit of yours two hands covered your eyes which made you let out a yell.
“Sorry!” the voice responded, and you immediately knew who it was. You turned around and saw her in all her glory, Clarisse.
She was pretty … really pretty. You furrowed your brows together, forgetting why you were upset for a moment until you remembered.
“I don't want to talk to you,” you spoke before turning around and walking up the stairs. Clarisse was quick to follow “Wait!” she grabbed your shoulder and turned you towards her, her hand running down to hold on to your arm.
She stared into your eyes for a few moments, memorizing the colors and the way your pupils changed sizes when you looked at her.
“Stop looking at them,” she looked puzzled for a second “At what?”
“My scars,” you answered as you turned to look away, a part of you didn't want her to see you looking like this, “Why? They look badass” she mumbled, bringing her hands to gently touch them, which for a moment startled you until her fingertips started to feel nice against your skin.
“You weren't there,” you mumbled quietly looking back at her, “I was … just didn't want you to see me.” she spoke softly back, her eyes still memorized by you, “But Will said-”
“I told him to lie,” she responded quickly, her hand finally dropping, leaving your skin feeling colder than before. “Why?”
“I just … was feeling insecure, wanted to look my best for you.” She spoke with a smile, and you took the time to lock away the memory of what her first smile looked like. “And why would you want that?” you asked even softer, allowing Clarisse’s hands to travel down your arms towards your hands.
“Are you blind?” she asked in a bit of an aggressive voice, which startled you for a moment, but you did tell her you wanted to see all of her one day. “I like you.” She admitted shamefully, her hands trying to reach for your hips.
While she waited for a response, she prayed to any god or goddess to help her, she wanted this to work out.
“Do you think I would have stayed around to listen to you tell me about cartons if I didn’t like you.” She spoke up once more which made you smile, and Clarisse took notice of how your eyes and nose scrunched together when you smiled at her.
She liked it.
You both moved closer, not realizing it at first “I like how you aren't disappointed in how I am … or what my hands have done in the past.” she mumbled before she quickly kissed you. Her hands tighten around your waist.
Through each kiss she mumbled another thing she liked about you, trying to convince you more that she liked you.
“You're the person I want to crawl home for.” She admitted as she pulled away from your lips, her hands still in the loopholes of your shorts.
You smiled and brought your hand up to touch her face, and you took notice of how she flushed a darker red at the touch of you. “I like you too Clarisse,” you smiled as you kept your eyes connected to hers.
For a moment you forgot about everything until you heard a voice in the background, it was Chiron clearing his throat, “You ladies best get to dinner.” He let out a soft chuckle as he walked away.

Can you do more ex!clarisse la rue x ex!reader but instead they are a bit more aggressive. They broke up because they were always fighting and getting jealous. After a really explosive fight they break up. They are so bitter towards each other during training they would spar together since no one else would challenge them and when they attacked it was like they were actually fighting. The words they spoke to each other are mostly about how they are the superior one or the stronger on or the right one. During a bonfire the reader decided to get under clarisse’s skin and flirt with her best friend . She see this and it sets sadness and a fire inside of her. She was going to win you back, after that day she would be nicer to you she would compliment you and you take notice of this. You ask her after sparring with each other while she was saying how amazing you were and how you were improving and the reader gets annoyed and said “Why are you acting like?!?” the reader is mad because she was the one who said to break up. Clarrise tells the reader that she still loves her and wants to get back together but the reader is still so upset and tells clarrise to stay out of her life breaking clarrise’s heart. The reader storms away so frustrated and confused. The reader and another camper and hit it off and goes on a eats dinner with them clarrise sees you with her about and gets so angry but doesn’t do anything because of what you said. Clarrise then notices that she doesn’t see you at training that often she barely see you at all even. One day she’s going to training and sees you with the camper. When she sees this it make her heart feel like it’s shattering, she always thought that you guys would get over this that you guys would get back together and spend the rest of your life together. She then realized that she couldn’t just stand there and watch fall in love with someone else. She went to talk to you while you were going to your cabin but you are also with the camper and she kind of shoos her away. The reader is upset that she just sent her away and tries to walk away but clarrise calls the reader but the reader just ignores her after a while clarrise just picks the reader up and bring them to her cabin with them kicking and screaming on her shoulder. Clarrise then apologizes to the reader and she has a whole speech on why they should get back together one of them being is because she hasn’t felt that way with anyone before and she never wants to she only wants to feel that way for you and telling the reader not to continue dating the camper. You just sit there shocked and confused because the camper that you were talking to you weren’t interested in at all they were your cabin sibling you were just helping her get more comfortable with the camp. You tell her that this was one of the main reasons why they broke up that they were so overprotective. Clarrise a little embarrassed says that she’s sorry for overreacting but she felt like she was losing you and just kind of rambles. And you stop her with a kiss and tell her that they can get back together but they have to start at square one and reintroduce each other.
The end

You and Clarisse broke up a week ago, due to always fighting and getting jealous. And the way the two of you broke it off was, well, messy.
For the first time, you truly believed you hated her, and she thought the same thing about you.
You try to ignore her, going separate ways, avoiding the Ares cabin. You thought that once you guys broke up you wouldn't be bothered anymore. That you could finally escape her claws, but no.
Of course, you had to be partners with her in sparring, and you hated it. She once was so gentle with you, trying her best to not hurt you like she did with the other campers. But now it was almost like sudden death like you were fighting an actual monster.
When she pushed you down and you rolled away to avoid her sword that came crashing down she let out a laugh “Where are you going stupid ass.”
You'd quickly got up and threw a punch into her stomach so you could throw her off guard and be able to take a breather. When you looked at her it truly was like seeing someone else. It was like looking at the man in a horror show who was about to kill you, someone you once trusted.
“You little-” She yelled, taking her sword and clashing it down onto yours, she met your eyes and for a second you thought you saw something change. But she kicked your knee causing you to fall and her sword cut into your skin.
You fell to the floor, your hand reaching up to feel the blood pooling down your chin. You looked up at her as she took a step back, her arms falling to her side, her movements slow and breathing heavy.
“I can't believe – I can't believe you.” You stuttered, out of breath and hurt you stood up. Cover the wound with your hand as the blood starts to cover your fingers and slide down your arm.
You walked off to find Will in the Apollo cabin, tears mixing with the wound which made everything sting more.
A few days later you walked to the bonfire and sat down with some friends. You saw Clarisse standing by a tree with a drink in her hands and her siblings, you noticed how her gaze flickered to the stitching on your face.
You ignored her, turning your gaze to look at your friends.
It is strange to think though, how you once would run up to her during these fires, and ask her to help you roast your marshmallow and she'd roll her eyes but you could she loved it.
Now you two were just trying to be strangers.
You saw her friend Selena sitting across from you, on the other side of the fire and you decided to be friendly.
You walked over and said hello and she smiled at you, you never realized how pretty she was even though you've seen her so many times.
“How you holding up?” she asked and you shrugged your shoulders “I've been getting through it … But Clarisse she takes her anger out on me.” you pointed to your face and looked back towards the fire.
“Yikes” Selena mumbled bringing her fingers up to touch the skin around the stitching “Makes you look tough though.” She mumbled which made you turn to look at her “Yeah?” and she hummed in response.
You smiled, feeling a small burning sensation in your stomach, or maybe it was coming from the back of your head where Clarisse had been burning lasers into.
Clarisse couldn't help herself but be annoyed by you, especially with you trying to be smitten with her friend. You were trying to get under her skin, maybe to get back at her for cutting you.
But either way, she didn't like it.
She knew it wasn't right for her to want to win you back, that the reason why you guys broke up was because of her jealousy in the first place, and now it was what fueled her to get you back.
She started slowly, sneaking in extra portions of food for you, leaving anonymous notes and flowers.
She hoped you knew it was her, but unfortunately, you only believed it was Selena. She caught you talking to her friend thanking her for the things, leaving Selena a bit confused before noticing Clarisse in the corner with her arms crossed and a scowl.
“Wait, who is it then?” you asked confused, Selena shrugged her shoulders and walked off leaving you standing there. You looked around and noticed Clarisse, but she just shook her head and walked off.
A few days later you were back on the field with her.
Clarisse wouldn't admit this out loud, but seeing you in front of her waiting for the timer to start was just like seeing you for the first time again. She liked how you stood there with your hands on your hips, looking around out into the distance at the forest admiring the colors, and trying to ignore the awkward tension.
Maybe this is all the two of you needed, was to fall in love again, to realize you needed each other.
And she wanted you to notice this is all you needed.
When the timer started she took a stance and allowed you to hit her first. She wanted you to impress her just like the first time you did. She wanted you to see how good she is, and forget Selena.
She wanted so much.
When you both finished, out of breath and unfocused Clarisse spoke up “You did good, I liked that thin-” But she was cut off by you, “What is this?”
“What?” Clarisse asked, getting defensive, “This new positive attitude … remember when you sliced my face open the last time, and now you're trying to be all buddy!” You spoke, waving your hands around in frustration.
“I'm sorry, would you prefer me to cut your leg this time?” She spoke with furrowed brows. “No! But I want you to stop acting like things between us are normal.”
You wanted the conversation to end so you walked away, wiping some of the sweat off your forehead. Clarisse turned to look at you but then sighed and chased after you “Argh come on Y/n just … I want you back in my life please!” you never heard Clarisse beg, even when you guys broke up. So for a moment you almost faltered, but then kept walking “Just stay out of my life!” you yelled, and finally she stopped following you.
Later that night Clarisse sat on her cabin steps, tossing a ball back and forth between her hands. She wanted to wait for you to get back to your cabin so maybe she could try again.
But then she heard your laughs and noticed you standing with some girl.
Oh. The reason why she said no was because you moved on.
She stayed still, trying to blend into the shadows so she wouldn't be seen. She felt like she was about to throw up, watching as you clung onto the girl's hand and swung it back and forth like you once did with hers.
The next few days it was almost like you were nonexistent, like you never went to camp because no one questioned it. You didn't go to the training field, you didn't go to dinner, you were gone.
Or maybe just just disappeared from Clarisse.
After a few more days she saw you on the field with that girl and she scoffed. Before she could think she found her legs moving towards you “Look who finally showed up” Clarisse spoke bitterly as she kept her gaze on you. Then she finally looked at the girl “Get lost … she's my partner.”
The girl wanted to protest, but Clarisse didn't look away from her until she started to walk away. You watched Clarisse and took notice of how she seemed so angry. “Where have you been”
“Why does it matter?” you spoke up and Clarisse scoffed “Because I care.” you shook your head turning around to walk away and letting out a sigh.
Clarisse pretty much growled at your behavior and picked you up, throwing you over her shoulder. Her hand found their placement right under your butt which caused you to gasp at the sudden baldness.
“Clarisse! Put me down!” you yelled trying to kick your way out, But Clarisse was stronger, she kept walking until she reached her cabin, placing you down on her bunk and yelling at the few campers to Scram.
“Will you stop being stubborn and listen to me!” She shouted which got you to stop talking, as you crossed your arms and looked away like a toddler.
“I still love you! And I always will! And I'm sorry I am always so jealous and protective I just can't help it! You are so beautiful and when I see you trying to be friendly with other people I just can't help myself but get angry.”
She huffed out bringing her hand up to brush your cheek softly “I love you.” she almost chuckled as she looked at your cheeks turn slightly warm.
Clarisse felt hers get warm as well, feeling a bit embarrassed. “I'm so sorry for hurting you … I just couldn't control myself. You know I'll never do it again.” She spoke softly, brushing your scar, but at the same time, she was also talking about your feelings.
“I don't think I can handle seeing you and that girl together anymore,” she spoke and she took notice of how you smiled slightly, tilting your head down to ignore her gaze but Clarisse tilted your head back up to look at her.
She was squatting in front of your knees and a feeling of butterflies entered your stomach. “Will you plea-”
But she was cut off by you kissing her harshly, your legs separating so she would kneel between your legs as you both kissed.
Your fingers tangled into her hair, and you both let out soft gasps into each other's mouths. Clarisse’s hands found your hips and pulled you forward so her chest was hitting your stomach.
She pulled away and smiled as she noticed how red your face was “So do you forgive me”
You nodded your head and kissed her once more.

Clarisse wasn't someone big on confronting their feelings, that is unless it's related to anger. So when she saw you standing with some other camper who was trying to be smitten. She scoffed and walked away.
She knew there was a chance you wouldn't like her, but the way that she finally got you to hang out with her, and how you were so cute near her, just gave her the impression that you did.
So she did what she usually did, which was go to the training field and punch a dummy. For the next few days, she was more aggressive toward others, If that's even possible …
Clarisse is just honestly someone who doesn't know how to react when her vulnerable side is declined because she never shows it to anyone. Her friend Selena (If that's what you call their relationship) told her that it wasn't fair to blame you, you had no idea.
But Clarisse thought she was being obvious, complimenting you, giving you extra portions of food, and lifting heavy things for you.
Along with being aggressive, or more sassy as some would say, she was constantly ignoring you. As much as she would hate to admit it she did feel a bit jealous, and now a part of her felt embarrassed and not good enough to keep trying.
This was the first time she had ever felt not good enough.
You, on the other hand, didn't know why she wasn’t speaking to you all of a sudden.
Every attempt to speak to her she’d scowl and walk in the other direction, trudging forward just like she did a year before when she didn't care for you at all.
You were stressed, not knowing what was wrong bothered you. You started to believe that she didn't like you, that maybe you said something that showed your interest and she got grossed out.
One day when you found her alone in the field you finally decided to confront her. At first she didn't notice you, throwing another punch at the dummy, but then when she did she turned away and walked towards the bench avoiding your gaze.
“Clarisse!” you called out, walking forward faster to get to her. “What do you want?” She asked sternly, which took you aback.
“What's with this?” you asked hinting at her attitude in a distressed voice which made her sign and turn to face you, you looked at her and truly saw nothing for a moment.
Even though Clarisse was upset, her hands still got slightly sweaty at the sight of you.
“What's with what?” She spoke up, her shoulders raising slightly with each heavy breath she took in. “This attitude, you’re like a completely different person.”
She rolled her eyes and turned back to the bench taking a sip from a water bottle, it was yours, the one you lent her when you got worried she wasn't drinking enough water.
Clarisse took it because she thought it was the closest thing she’d ever get to kissing your lips.
“I'm a different person? What about you, walking around talking to some kid who was clearly flirting with you! Don't you understand how much of a fool you made me feel?” she spoke, turning to look back at you, her eyebrows furrowed.
“Clarisse, what are you talking about!” you spoke up, “Stop playing dumb! That new kid.” She shouted at you, which made you take a step back away from her.
She never showed this side of her to you, the side that every Ares kid had, Anger.
Clarisse tried to calm down but a part of her felt like it was on fire. “That kid was a childhood friend … he's 5 years younger than me.” You spoke up with a disgusted look on your face, scoffing at her ignorance.
Clarisse could've sworn that kid was 6ft tall when she saw him.
You shook your head turning around to walk away “I’m such an idiot for liking you.” you spoke softly, but Clarisse heard you say it and her heart skipped a beat.
You liked her …
She wanted to run after you, she wanted to apologize and kiss you. But her embarrassment and realizing she was wrong made her stop and stay in place, her breathing deepening. When you were out of sight she threw the water bottle onto the ground in annoyance, and that's when she heard a yelp.
She turned to the side and saw Annabeth taking her hat off “Annabeth … get lost.” Clarisse would've been angry about Annabeth stalking, but she had bigger things to worry about.
“Talk to her.” Annabeth spoke up “One thing I know about Y/n is that she is a forgiving person … which is also a curse. She needs someone like you to help her make decisions like that.” Annabeth spoke before walking away.
And for once Clarisse agreed.
That night Clarisse walked up to your cabin and opened the door, it was late, and a lot of your siblings were giving her stares for going in the cabin at this time.
But she was on a mission.
She saw you propped up in your bunk with a small light shining behind your shoulder so you could read her book.
You looked so beautiful to her, she could take you right here if she could.
But she approached you, and when you finally noticed her you shut your book and turned the light off. “Y/n” Clarisse spoke softly, kneeling down “Please come outside.”
“I’m sleeping”
“No, you just talked.”
You sighed and turned to face her, sitting up in your bed, and Clarisse felt her heart skip another beat. “Fine … but make it quick,” you mumbled.
Clarisse smiled and took your hand, and you wrapped your fingers around hers. She brought you outside and turned to face her.
“Look I’m an idiot, I know but please forgive me. I can’t help being jealous and angry; it's just the way I am, and the way I always will be. I should've talked to you about it but I didn't, I just like you so much and seeing you smile at someone else made me hurt.”
You smiled at her and rolled your eyes as you looked to the side, but Clarisse didn't stop. She grabbed your hands and kissed them both as she looked at you “Princess please” she mumbled slightly and you could've sworn you saw a blush of embarrassment on her.
“Fine,” you said.
Clarisse was shocked, that was it? She was prepared to fight, do anything to win you back, but all she had to do was be truthful.
Her eyebrows slightly scrunched and she smiled “But just remember Clarisse, if you get jealous and decide to ignore me again I will end you.”
Clarisse nodded her head and placed her hands on your hips, hooking her fingers onto the inside of your pajama shorts and pulled you closer to her. She had a smirk on her face “Whatever you say ma’am”
And with that she kissed you softly, but eventually she depended on it as her hand went to the small of your back, pressing you against her.

Clarisse with a mermaid/lake protector girlfriend? as if they were talked about a lot by the reader only appearing to talk to her or when Chiron called her, however she manages to transform into a human, and she doesn't talk to anyone other than Clarisse because she is shy and also doesn't like demigods ( except Clarisse, of course)

Clarisse has never liked the lake, it reminded her of too much and she could never sit down and focus because of the many sounds.
But one day she spotted something stepping out and walking towards the shore and she became curious. At first, she thought it was another camper, but then she noticed how you had a different type of shine to your body.
She drew a dagger from her pants and crept forward thinking it was a monster that had split in. Taking shallow breaths she approached you. When she stepped on a branch and broke it she mentally cursed at herself as you turned to look at her with fright.
You quickly ran back into the water, your skin merging and forming what looked like a tail. Clarisse had heard of you, a myth around camp that she never believed.
You were the protector of the camp lake, saving drowning children and whatnot. Aphrodite cursed you for loving one of her children. It was said that the girl had asked her mother to get you to leave her alone and this was the first thought.
What was meant to make you ugly, simply only made you more beautiful – or that's what Clarisse thought
She heard Chiron make an announcement once about leaving trash around the lake, saying the living species were getting upset. She didn't realize it was you they were upsetting.
Once she left she still had the curiosity to see you again, she asked her siblings if they had seen anything like you but they all just brushed her away.
So she left it up to herself to find you again.
She went at the same time she did the day before, this time she went slower, being careful not to scare you.
She spotted you once again, you had small fabric pieces covering you, and vines, necklaces, and bracelets decorated you adding to the shine of your skin.
And most importantly you had legs again.
The night before Clarisse had asked Chiron about you. He told her that you do exist, but you dislike demigods – or any type of god really because of your past. So if she were able to get to you then he would be amazed.
She wanted to get to you … boy did she want to.
She walked over the pebbles and cleared her throat, you placed your hands on the ground to quickly stand up but she put her hands up trying to show that she wasn't a threat.
“I'm Clarisse” she spoke softly, taking a step forward. “What do you want?” You asked in a soft and shy voice which surprised her.
Clarisse shrugged her shoulders, not even sure what her reasoning was, she just felt drawn to you. “I haven't seen you before.”
“Good” You answered, simple and plain, not wanting to add more as you took another step away from her. “You're afraid of me?” Clarisse asked, but it came out more as a statement.
You scoffed turning to face her “No … I hate you.”
“You don't know me.” Clarisse challenged, if there was one thing Clarisse hated, it was losing a challenge.
“I've heard the children speak from the boats, they are afraid of you,” you spoke softly, but there was a certain sternness in it that made Clarisse’s heart pump.
“I’m sorry … but that is simply the way I am. Mean. But I will be nice to you … I’ll try.” Clarisse found herself apologizing for no reason, her shoulders kinda shrugged and she had a straight face.
It wasn't long until she convinced you to sit down with her, and eventually, she got you laughing. Clarisse was still her anger-driven self, but she mellowed down when she was near you, bringing out a more flirtatious side of her.
After a few weeks, another camper noticed the two of you talking, and when Clarisse was questioned she gave them an aggressive look and told them to ‘back off’ and that you were not theirs to know about.
She wanted you to socialize with others, to get over your hatred towards others, but at the same time, she liked having you all to herself. She couldn't help it but it was in her blood to be selfish.
So the day when she saw you talking to another camper she lost it. She stormed up to the two of you and watched as you stroked the kid's back. “What the hell is going on?” Clarisse pretty much growled at you.
But the look you gave her was unphased, and that made her even more annoyed. Her arms were crossed as she looked down at the two of you. “He was drowning … it's my job to save the children.” You spoke softly looking back at the kid.
When Clarisse walked around the kid to see his face, she noticed the snot rolling down his nose and how he was drenched. She felt stupid, but to keep up her strong act she rolled her eyes “You're fine, now get lost.” She told the kid, tilting her head towards the cabins so he would get the hint.
The little kid who was terrified of Clarisse got up and stumbled away.
Clarisse watched the kid leave and then turned to face you as you stood up, “You let your imagination control you.” you spoke softly meeting her gaze, “Nothing controls me.”
“Except for your anger and jealousy.”
Clarisse scoffed and shook her head “Whatever I'm leaving.”
“Don't,” you called out to her as she was already walking away, she stopped and swung her foot so it almost twirled her body for her. She stopped, still a distance away from you as she waited for something else.
“You're my only friend … I want your company.” You admitted for the first time since she started talking to you. Clarisse couldn't help but smile, so she looked down trying to whip off the smirk and play it cool.
“Fine only because you are so sweet.” She teased, but she was gonna stay anyway, whether you wanted her to or not.
She sat down and you followed her, you shyly scooted your hand towards hers, still afraid that Clarisse might get angry and curse you, like that camper had done in the past.
But Clarisse smiled and took it, letting her hand interlock with yours, feeling your skin and how your hand was so smooth compared to hers.
You sat together in silence, Clarisse drew patterns into your skin with her thumb, enjoying how you felt, and for the first time, she enjoyed sitting by the water.

an imagine with Clarisse la rue who has an equally tough girlfriend who is always sarcastic but becomes VISIBLY sweeter and soft-spoken as soon as Clarisse enters the scene which doesn't go unnoticed by Ares' daughter and this makes them kind of the most powerful couple from the camp?
YESS!!! I did this in kinda a story way?? Like you read it and it’ll have “you” in it. Hope that’s okay!!
Requests are still open!

Clarisse La Rue x Strong!femreader

Clarisse liked having a girl who can hold herself up. Even though she enjoyed having that protective relationship, she liked knowing that they would be safe without her.
She noticed you on the archery field first, how you managed to hit every target, and even hit them while running and fighting people.
Then she noticed you on an obstacle course, how you laughed with your friend as you ran ahead of them.
Then she looked for you at dinner, and when spotted you she watched how you chatted amongst your friends and was respectful.
Then she looked and prayed to the gods she’d see you on the sword training field. So she could ask you to spare her.
It took a couple of days, but you finally did show up. She heard that you aren’t big of a swordsman but she knew you could hold your own end.
It wasn’t long until she spoke up and asked you out.
To much of her surprise, you are such a sweetie towards her in private. I mean, overall you are pretty nice to everyone.
But you could give someone a good awakening if you wanted to. Not only that, the sarcastic attitude kept everyone on their toes.
And she loves it.
“You’re such an idiot” Clarisse heard your voice and a laugh as she walked into the cabin. She stood behind the couch and saw you kicking a your friend off of your spot until they fell.
It was all playful, but Clarisse could see a fire glowing behind your eyes, and it made her stomach turn.
When you finally spotted her, it was like a whole new person switched on, “hey sweetums” you mumbled sitting back on the couch and patting it so she would sit down.
To others it almost looked like someone gave you sleep meds and you were calmer and ready to sit there and stop talking.
She would let out a sigh as you leaned your head against her shoulder, waiting for her to kiss it.
Clarisse wouldn’t do it, not in front of her others but that didn’t mean you were gonna move your head.
If someone said something like“Aww look at them so cute” Clarisse would send a death stare at them where as you would reach for the book on the couch and throw it at them.
And then once you heard the girl grunt at impact you’d go back to sitting in silence.
The two of you would be like melatonin for each other. Like all of a sudden you change personalities into a sweeter calmer version.
But only towards each other. If someone starts talking to you and disturbing the situation it would almost be a race for the two of you to see who could insult that person first.
