#gelphie#can black characters be characters or merely props for white fans to elevate their favorite character? who knows!#the joke in the comic tag is that the white favortism parasite blinds people from accurate characterizations of the cast#rather place experiences on characters that make no sense bc it is uncomfortable to align their experiences with black characters#as a lesbian. noticing that movie fans put in very little effort to analyze elphie's sexuality as much as they do glindas....#a lot of fan art sidelining elphaba or obscuring her face or not even including her....
