Hii I've been a fan of wth for a few years now after finding it kind of randomly lol but I do have one question I dont know if ull answer it but got to take my shot it's pretty much established in the first few minutes that hell has an overpopulation problem so why is socks job to get someone to kill themselves and also go to hell isnt that going to add to the overpopulation or is Jonathan's soul just special???
Hell having an overpopulation problem is the other hell cartoon! Haha. Mephistopheles is just renovating hell to try and keep up with Heaven, and in the meantime everything's disorganized. People are running amok, things are where they shouldn't be... (all juuuust off-screen, of course). It's just bad infrastructure, and Mephistopheles isn't as powerful as Providence so he's struggling with it. He goes into it a little more in W2H2... but he info-dumps a lot so I understand why it's maybe hard to follow, haha.
