Me, seeing there’s been a new fic comtributed to the small pool of fics for a ship tag I like on AO3: AW YES IM READY HIT ME I COULD USE A CUTE FIC OF THEM

Me, when I realize the fic is a ‘fix-it’ fic written to break the ship and pair them with other people: ... oh. Well... this is unfortunate.

Maybe this is just me, but I search by ships I want to read... so if your fic breaks up a ship to make a ship you enjoy possible, don’t tag the ship you sink with their official ship tag? While I’m here, I also find it weird when people tag background ships. If I’m looking up that ship, I personally don’t wanna spend time sifting through fics where the ship is tagged because they’re in the background. I want fics centered around that tag. Is... is that just me? Am I just being semi-salty unnecessarily?
