alas... the power imbalances were always there.

kind of like the dangerous unlovable monster trope isnt it? Cutie is borderline dangerous, especially considering they're a government agent of sorts and probably knows how to use all sorts of magic and tools

Man... compared to the Imperiums, Geordi's newest audio was harder to listen to!

But I wonder where the story is going now. Would there be a timeskip? Or would we see Cutie's progress?

Yee I love the idea where we sort of see how Cutie’s habits have served them over the years... and also show some of Cutie’s merits (great investigator, knows how to extract information to prevent horrible tragedies, good friend to Cam and huge support to the poor empathy demon)- 

and sometimes... you cant succeed at saving everything.

And although we know Cam would never do it, and im not even sure it's possible, Cutie sitting in Cam's head, sharing in some of his burdens- he never has to talk about it outloud but Cutie knows, and Cutie understands.

and because im a angst goblin who delights in tragedy, although i know this would not happen and I wholeheartedly support Cutie and Geordi working it out:

Cutie throws themself into their work whole heartedly, where their paranoia is wholly encouraged and even required and never gets a chance to work on it for Geordi. Elects to instead let him go because... well, what else can they do?

Abandoned WIP

Angst. Bye bye Starlight. No happy ending.

The only sign they ever existed was the lasting loneliness and grief that continued to plague him.

He doesnt know how long it has been since Starlight disappeared. One second they were there... Then a panicked call for him, then...

The last Avior saw of Starlight were the tips of their fingers disppearing into the tears.

Today's thoughts- Avior, Vega and Blake

Just wanted to ponder aloud how their stories will converge- We know Avior has been in that hellscape for forever, and we know the meridian wants Starlight. We know that, assuming Vega is telling the truth, Vega thinks the end is nigh, especially should Closeknit manage to find the sovereigns. We know Blake is doing this whole thing... in an attempt to save his best friend.

Are the sovereigns the ones trying to contact Starlight?

Will Avior and Starlight accidently set them free?

Is Vega truly trying to prevent something horrific?

How will Vega react to Avior and Starlight's predicament, do you think? Will he ever find out?

Will their stories ever converge?

And... Brachium?

Okay so for some context since from what I can tell, you hadnt seen the original series for yourself?

Throughout the first video, Freddy was actually begging Brighteyes to leave because the place seemed dangerous, so they kind of pressured Freddy a little bit, Freddy could have left but he probably didnt want to leave Bright to explore on their own. This is partly the reason for the audience blaming Bright as well (although i dont see that many ppl doing it? Idk)

Tbh Sam mellowed out a bit later on, and did train both vampires on their skills, altho he mayy have shown a little more preferential treatment towards Freddy? I cant quite recall, but Sam and Bright didnt have any proper moment where they properly dealt with the whole blame Bright thing (which further confuses whose side the author wanted us to be on? Maybe it was supposed to come later on).

The last video ended on, iirc, Freddy wanting to go to DAMN and talking to Bright about it, and Bright not really wanting to talk, and Freddy trying to push them into talking out their issues, ending in a verbal fight. Then Bright slammed the door on Vincent who came to check on them cause he was babysitting lmao

Tbh the whole thing just seemed stacked against poor Bright who kept being attacked at all angles. Least, from what we could tell.

I still think some of Sam's frustrations came from projection, but guess we'll never know for sure. Idk it was just a whole thing
