genuinely feel like there's something to be said about kyle rayner's constant 'if you do something bad you shouldn't be blamed for it' that he has done in literally every comic since his inception that's SO fascinating

i really want to draw parallels with the fact that kyle himself is SO easily incensed by injustice. and ALL of those instances above are (with two for hal) 'character responding to immense grief/trauma.' like. it's a fundamental desire for HIM to think that he's completely absolved from culpability when people drive him over the edge.
