I saw these at the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Art Festival. Beautiful in person, particularly the large painted originals.

Here is the interactive version of my little animation and UI experiment.
Tried a few different approaches with my Unity animator setups. E.g. triggers vs bool and animating in timeline vs transitioning between single frame states. Was good to get these in my head so I can think about when one or the other is better.
Also fought with some issues with collapsing menu items triggering the other items. I found a solution where only the headers trigger fold and unfold. It’s not perfect but works pretty well. I should have known better than to have UI elements that push other interactive elements around (from my web work) but I think the unfold animation is pretty neat and was worth figuring out the work around.
Overall a great learning experience and solid portfolio piece.

I’m working on building a moving sci-fi themed UI in Unity’s editor. It ended up being more game than I’d intended. Looks best in motion. Hope to link the finished piece soon.

My Dad worked at a photo processing lab in Pittsburgh and got to develop a bunch of negatives from this crossover episode and he saved one where they’re doing an experiment in Mr. Rogers kitchen. A perfect capture of my childhood tv experience.

I made Ooblets fan art and posted it on Twitter. I figured I should post it here too (tweet https://twitter.com/RegisFrey/status/822161867128770560).

My brothers and I were playing some Gang Beasts and having a lot of fun, but the UI/UX was frustrating. The worst part was the black screen with stars interrupting the level (it should be more dramatic and quicker). After playing, I doodled a bit on what I might do with the UI if it was my game.

Imagine a club where you read books, watch movies, listen to music, play video games, and just chill in each other's quiet company. This is a crest for that club.
I made this design awhile back and never got around to putting it on a shirt: here it is!

Isn't Moblets great!? Look at those cute dorks.
I met Rebecca at Day of the Devs and she was unbelievably short and friendly and I was awkwardly fangirly because damn I'd love to make a game this fricking cute.

I doodled some experimental characters for a story thing I’m playing around with.
