You know Antinous was alive during the slaughter? My arrow shot him through the neck. He was alive, paralyzed, and mute. He watched the other suitors die one by one, before I had him buried alive in the mass grave. He died, surrounded by the bodies of the other suitors. Couldn't tell the servants burying the bodies that he was still alive. Don't touch my wife.

Think of it. There were probably suitors who pretended to be Odysseus over the 20 years. Hell, the man who just killed half the population of Ithaca could've been the same. So she had to test him

Taking that and saying "Oh, she was asking a stupid question because Odysseus was!!", takes everything interesting about that scene and shits on it

Not a difference, a misunderstanding It's the same Astral, you're just in a different part of it. There's the physical side, which is what most humans start at because they choose to end up on the physical side. Here, people who are sensitive to energies may sense you. Animals may as well, I've certainly been scolded by Penny for startling her cats. Then, you have what is commonly accepted to be the Veil, the boundary between astral and physical. It goes by many names, it manifests in many ways across cultures, but it is the line separating Physical Astral and Astral Proper. Across that barrier is the Astral Proper, which is where the gods and other creatures and figures of myth reside.
