Why did Batman stopped himself from killing Superman in BvS?
This iconic scene has been exceptionally well-written. I am not sure how people interpret this but here I will present my opinion as to why Batman might have stopped himself from killing Superman after he heard the name Martha.
In popular media, there were a lot of memes and criticism indicating that this was a bogus and poorly written script. In fact, I think it was perfectly executed. Let's recap!
Batman fights Superman beats him and is almost about to kill him when Superman yells out Martha, Save Martha. Now of course why does it matter? First of it's Bruce's mother's name. Does it make everything right? No, of course not. We then hear Bruce yell, "Why did you say that name". Cause until now Bruce can only connect the name Martha to his own mother's name. Given the fact that Bruce's parents were killed and to some extent, Bruce always blames himself for his parent's death, when Superman yells out "Save Martha", obviously it struck a nerve in Bruce. Like, how do I save Martha, and why does Superman or in fact how does Superman know about Martha.
Now to the interesting part. Why does it even matter in the first place? The thing is Bruce hated Superman the entire time Superman went public with his heroism. Based on the destruction and power Bruce saw, all he saw was a threat with no human identity, simply a powerful alien who could go corrupt and harm innocent people. However, what clicked for Bruce at that moment was the humanity of Superman. When Lois swoops in to say that it is his mother's name, it changes how Bruce views Superman. This is not just an alien, he has a mother, and instead of saving himself when he is about to be killed, he is asking Bruce to save his mother. That selfless moment and the realization of it made Bruce accept Superman as someone who can be trusted. Someone who is willing to sacrifice himself to save his mother. Something that Bruce would do himself if he was given the opportunity or if he could go back.
Let me know how you like my explanation!

Why the Snyder Verse is better and must be restored: Superman part
This is a series of articles, I will publish on my perception regarding why the Snyder Cut is better than the theatrical release of the Justice League. This part will focus on Superman story. Spoilers ahead!
The Beginning
Right from the start of the movie, the Superman’s impact is heavily emphasized. In the theatrical version we see Superman with a fake CGI face addressing some children. Maybe the point was to create an emotional connection that Superman is missed and that is where the biggest flaw is. What the director, Joss Whedon, did not realize is that Superman’s friendliness with kids and the citizens is not a key moment here and does not really address why Darkseid or Steppenwolf are interested in Earth. In the Snyder Cut, the movie starts off with Superman’s death, his scream echoing throughout the world alerting everyone that a Kryptonian has fallen. This also alerts Steppenwolf and he realizes this Earth can be taken since there are no Kryptonians and Lanterns left. This version is so much more convincing and also subconsciously sets up why we need Superman in the later part of the film.
The Resurrection
Another controversial scene is the resurrection of Superman. If we look at the Theatrical version, the resurrection of Superman felt more like coming out of helplessness of other heroes. I mean seriously, Batman seemed like he has no skills, Wonder woman can do nothing, Aquaman was like an odd man out, and the Flash was literally a kid, Cyborg barely had any say. They fought with Steppenwolf, they lost and started begging for Superman revival like a chocolate taken from the kids and now they are crying. Back to the Snyder Cut, the heroes fight Steppenwolf, loses and started discussing plans to defeat him, when Cyborg reveals that he has the final Motherbox and explains its power and life transforming abilities when the heroes question Cyborg’s loyalty to the team. Here Cyborg could show everyone how he was created and how the motherbox is powerful which gave everyone the idea of reviving Superman. However, that was not the only deciding factor. The heroes discuss again when they realized that Steppenwolf’s minions came to earth after Superman died and not before. This leads them to believe that this is because Steppenwolf is afraid of Kryptonians, or simply Superman. So, if Superman can be revived, Steppenwolf will surely fall. This powerful argument makes Superman’s resurrection more logical and convincing instead of other heroes begging for it.
The Return of Kal-El
The Superman resurrection lead to a huge fight scene between the heroes and the Kryptonian. Both the theatrical version and the Snyder Cut have scenes in common, except for Superman’s approach to Batman. We see how each hero try to stop Kal-El but fails and Superman heads to Batman and utters ‘Do you bleed?’. I mean seriously? I understand that was a shoutout to Batman V Superman but this was again childish. In the Snyder Cut, we get a better version of the scene as we see Superman approaching Batman, and on the way The Flash tries to stop him, Superman ducks and the Flash hits Aquaman who was behind Superman trying to hit him from the back. Then Diana tries to stop Superman, but fails, and as Superman approaches Batman, he starts shooting his laser beams and the Batman defends with his new Gauntlets, and that’s when Lois arrives. Note that Lois is not the key here, nor was she sent by Alfred. Lois saw Clark flying in the sky after the resurrection and headed straight to that point herself. Looking at Lois, Superman snaps out of the rage to some point, not entirely, as Lois reminds him of Smallville. As they both fly to Smallville, Superman starts remembering his past and realizes its a second chance. And it wasn’t out of the blue that Superman comes to help other heroes in the final battle, he talks to Lois, talks to his mother, Martha, and tells them that he needs to understand why he was brought back and realizes that they must need Superman for something. And that’s how you develop a character return instead of just throwing him back to the fight. Also, this leads Superman to the Fortress and get his Black Suit.
The Final Battle
The final battle is probably one of the most amazing changes in the movie. The Whedon ending was a disaster with heroes running around back and forth, no coordination, no purpose, and taking a beating, until Superman arrives and saves them all. Let’s just forget that and let’s talk about the Snyder Cut ending. The Snyder Cut version focused heavily on the heroes’ plan without Superman. Batman planned a perfect way to take down Steppenwolf, having faith that maybe Superman will come around and that will be an added advantage. But until that point, the heroes have to work on their plan and this is where every hero gets to do their part. And when everything was about to fall apart, Superman comes in and gives a boost, but wait, that’s not how it ends. Superman takes down Steppenwolf but the motherboxes synchronize together, destroying everything, EXCEPT, The Flash!!! But that part we will cover in the next article.
The Conclusion
Overall, this Superman had a background that mattered in the movie. Not some zombie style fight off and then suddenly becoming a hero out of nowhere. The Superman understands why he was brought back and realizes that this is his second chance to make everything work. Thus, if the Snyder Verse do get a chance to continue, I believe we have a lot more amazing Superman stuff to see. But that is just another dream, one we may never get to see in reality!

Their World~~~
I can hear the birds tweeting in the distance, In this silent sunny day.. They are pulling me out, As if they have something to say...
I walk up to the roof, I have no control over my body.. I lean on the edge, staring at the soundless city, It feels like the world is finally steady...
I close my eyes and focus on the tweets, They seem to be enjoying themselves in this human-less world.. The air is fresh and the nature is blooming, They have finally found back their world...
It is not their time to fear, But it is their time to be free.. The world is theirs too, We shouldn't forget that, when we are out of our captivity...

Into the Future
When it comes to future, we often start wondering what life holds in store for us. Apparently, what we want to see is simply what we want in life. It can be to see whether we are successful in our career or successful as a family person. It can be to see whether we actually dared to ask the cutest girl in the classroom on a date or it can be to see the face under the red glowing wedding dress on our wedding day. Regardless of what we aspire to become or set out to achieve, the future just stays in the future and what we do is try and do everything in our grasp to make that future a reality. In order to successfully achieve that reality, we need to dream, set goals to achieve that dream, and be ready adapt as we move ahead.
To begin with, the most important thing to do to focus on future is to dream. In other words, dreams give us a target or a destination that we will work on to reach. Without a dream, that is destination, we are likely to wander off into the future and look back and say, ‘Oh boy, we lost all those years for nothing’. For instance, when I was working for a multinational company, my life seemed set. I was earning more than my friends at the time, living a posh life to be honest. Soon it became clear to me, that I was stuck in time and career. My dream was to keep on learning till I hit the top and then maybe settle down with work and family. According to the american author, Napoleon Hill, ‘Man, alone, has the power to transform his thoughts into physical reality; man, alone, can dream and make his dreams come true.’ This means that we all have the ability to turn our dreams into a reality if we are willing to work for it. Making a dream into reality may take long time, but it is always worth it.
After dreaming, we need to design a pathway, a set goals that will lead us towards the future. That is, we need to figure out what smaller things we need to do in order to make our big dream a reality in the future. No dream becomes a reality in an instant. Life does not give you a genie in a bottle. What life gives us is opportunity. There is no limit to what a person can do once they set their mind into it. And so every goal we set along the path, we will find ourselves with countless opportunities and it will be up to us to choose wisely. According to Kobe Yamada, ‘Follow your dreams, they know the way.’ In other words, when we choose to pursue our dreams, we will find that life has a way to make it a reality. As we set our smaller objectives, the path that defines our future will become clearer.
Finally, once we have the pathway to our future, we need to be ready to adapt to anything along the way. This indicates that even though the path to our future may be clear, it may not be an easy one to follow. For every objective we set out, we can face numerous obstacles that will prevent us from achieving the said objective. However, if we are focused and determined, we will always find a way to adapt and jump over any obstacle. Adaptation can come in the form of a change in our daily life, a change in our attitude, a change in our communication, and even maybe a change in life as we know it. According to Christopher Reeve, ‘So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.’ This means that our dreams may often seem absurd and when we try to picture it, everything seem different than the reality we currently live in, but once we start working on it with determination, we slowly adapt to it, and soon the dream is not absurd anymore but a reality waiting to happen.
Therefore, life is simply a pathway to a destination. The destination depends on us. It can be a random one, living each day as your last and see what life has in store for you. On the other hand, it can be a destination, that we have dreamed about, we have worked on specific objectives to achieve, and adapted to everything along the way to make it a reality. The choice is really ours in how we define our future. And for once, take a break, close your eyes, and dream. Take a trip into the future that is waiting for you.

Crisis on Infinite Earths: 2019 crossover
Hello everyone. This will be my first post regarding the Arrowverse. I have been reading up for quite some time regarding how the events will unfold and what is likely to happen or not, one thing really pissed me off is that some reviewers are claiming Oliver Queen’s death is confirmed. To them, I would like to say that please, kindly re-watch the finale before making such claims.
Now, here’s my breakdown of the finale. We see Oliver happy with Felicity as we time jump to Mia’s birth and beyond. One night the Monitor appears at Oliver’s doorstep and states that it is time. The Universe needs him. Now this is where the Monitor states that I have watched you die. Now this is simply to throw away the fans into creating lots of theories about how and why. But to be honest, The Monitor only states a possibility. It’s kind of like the Avengers: Infinity War where Doctor Strange states we lose in all of them but 1. The Monitor clearly says, unavoidable, meaning, as many possibilities as he saw, Oliver died. However, there is a chance that he may not have died.
This brings us to the final moment, where Felicity, William, and Mia, are seen in front of Oliver’s grave which marks the demise of Oliver Queen to be 2019. Now we all know that a grave does not confirm death. Sara had a grave too, just a reminder. The twist comes at the end of the episode when Felicity meets the Monitor and states, I have waited a long time to meet him. Now this definitely means one person and that is Oliver Queen. Now I am not an expert in comic books, but I am sure Felicity didn’t mean that, “Hey Monitor, kill me so I can meet Oliver in Paradise”. Oliver must have saved the multiverse, at least some of it, don’t know what they will do with the story, but the Monitor must have found a way to save his life and that brings my theory.
So my theory is that Oliver does everything in his power to save the multiverse, and dies at the end of the crisis. The Monitor however, takes Oliver to his realm and resurrects him. For Earth, people will know Oliver died saving the multiverse, except Felicity, who knows, Oliver lives up there as a protector of the Multiverse and there is no coming back from there. So, Felicity first fulfills her promise to Oliver that she will protect Mia and William and now that it is done, she wants to spend the rest of her life with Oliver away from everyone and everything.
If you like the theory please drop a like and comment your opinions. I am just getting started so stay tuned for more posts. Cheers!

A Song of Ice and Fire: A Tale of the Seven Kingdoms
So, finally Game of Thrones is a wrap. After 8 seasons of amazing drama, we have finally witnessed how it all ends for Westeros. Before you move on ahead, I must warn you of spoilers if you have not watched the Series Finale.
When Sam presented the book named, “A Song of Ice and Fire”, to Tyrion, it hit me what the actual meaning of it could be. Over the years, I have seen many theories, ranging it from a battle between, white walkers and dragons, Starks and Targaryans, etc. However, after this season and especially the last episode, I think the name actually signifies the Tale of the Seven Kingdoms, that was threatened by both Ice and Fire, that is, the White Walkers and the Dragons.
Over the course of this final season, I have seen many fans complain and argue how poor the writing was, we need more episodes, and so on. However, I think the show did its best, the writers did their best, and everything seemed nice and worthy to watch. I can never agree with the fans who thinks the season was stupid and must be remade. This was the most appropriate, somewhat satisfying ending we can hope for when it comes to Game of Thrones. The prophecies are fulfilled, each character ending in their deserving place.
Speaking of prophecies, earlier we saw Arya fulfilled hers by killing the Night King. In the final episode, we saw Dany’s prophecy of being betrayed by love comes into fruition and at that moment, I was literally jaw-dropped. Despite the fifth episode rampage from Dany, I felt so sad when she was stabbed as we are seeing her since the first season, how she came to be what she is now. Everything she did was for the throne (which is one reason why she does not deserve it), she fought for it, she killed for it, now that she finally won and touched the iron throne, she dies with it in the throne room.

For Jon, it was now or never. As Tyrion tells him, “You have to choose now” was appropriate because if Dany is left as the Queen for long, then she will become too powerful to be stopped. And Jon knows that Dany will keep on liberating people and bring everyone under her rule which would also mean the end of his home, Winterfell. So he had to choose whether to support her or end her. As the show suggested for a long time, Jon never wanted the throne and he is a good leader, he is a commander, he fights bravely, but he is not a king, he is not a ruler. So, a fitting ending for him is to send him to do what he does best, lead the Night’s Watch.
For Arya, she is no lady, which means her staying in a castle, braiding her hair, and marrying a lord, is not on the cards. She is a warrior, she is an explorer and so she sails off towards a new adventure to see the world. Sansa, replaces her parents as the ruler of Winterfell and the North and that too was justifying, because she cared for her people, her house, her family. For the Starks, that is how it has always been. They do not care about who sits on the Iron Throne, they care for themselves, they don’t want to interfere anyone else nor they want to be interfered by anyone else. So, Sansa is the perfect candidate to rule the North as she is not Little Bird anymore as she exclaims in the fourth episode.

Many people are complaining about Bran being the King but I don’t see an issue there. Bran is the three-eyed raven and Tyrion explained it perfectly why a crippled boy should be the King. He has no enemies, even if does, he knows all, he sees all, no one can lie to him, no one can betray him. Plus, Bran played a vital role in the Night King’s death. It was Bran’s plan to be at that spot where he handed the Valerian steel to Arya. He knew, all this will fall into place.
For Drogon, I think it was about being loyal to his mother, Dany, or to the Targaryans as a whole. Drogon can surely sense Jon is a Targaryan and Dragons will not hurt a Targaryan. But the way Drogon reacted, I think it meant he was angry at Jon because he thinks Jon killed Dany for the throne, and so Drogon melts the throne and flies off taking Dany with him. I really thought he would burn Jon alive for Jon to find out he is fireproof, but I guess the showrunners had something else in mind.

Regardless of some plot-holes, and rushed season 8, I think this was a superb way to end the series on a high note. I am sorry, but I cannot agree with those who thinks the writing was crap. Yes, it was rushed but I am okay with it because when a series comes this long explaining too much story can make it boring. Just as in the case of some other shows, such as Arrow or The Flash, with 23 episodes each year, we see at least 6 to 7 episodes that just does not work or make sense. So, hats off to the writers who pulled it off amazingly. I don’t know if it could have been better but what I do know is what I saw, I liked it very much.
That’s it from my first blog post. Until next time.
