honestly but sirius has this internal timer that goes off every fifteen minutes and he’s like. 😙. time for a kiss. so he gently taps remus on his shoulder and stand there with this kissy face and remus sighs but then immediately gives him about seven little kisses across his face (the lips and the cheeks and the nose and probably the forehead too) and then keeps going. like okay fine if we’re doing this. here’s a whole bouquet of kisses.

Sirius and Hope having the most beautiful heart-melting relationship is everything to me. He never really got the love of a mother, so just imagining how much it means to him having her ruffling his hair, letting him steal the comfiest chair in the house, or sneaking him extra cookies. I can just imagine her teasing Remus like: "Sorry sweetheart, but I think Sirius just became my new favorite child," while Remus rolls his eyes and Sirius quietly beams because he’s finally got a place where he belongs.

Remus acts like such a grumpy git but all it takes is a slightly deeper than normal sigh from Sirius and he’s all “what’s wrong love? Are you tired? Did you sleep ok? Did you have a nightmare? Does your head hurt? Do you need water? When did you last eat? I’ll make you some lunch. I’ve got paracetamol in my bag. Come here, I’ll give you a cuddle”. He’s such a softy.

wolfstar is all about letting the other be rude and shout and make mistakes because they know what its like to feel anger as a living, shaking thing and being forced to shove it down. it doesn’t mean they aren’t tender and gentle with one another, because they are. but they know sometimes being vulnerable comes with showing all the ragged and rotten that exists within themselves, and for once that’s alright.
