So I just learned I can't hear a women screaming and crying in agony even if it's not real

I didn't realize I would have a Hysteria Trigger other than the obvious that most others would normally have, but apparently discovering this recently it just never dawned to me

I was just scrolling on TikTok as usual and someone was voice acting for this analog horror; The audio was inspired by a game I've watched the gameplay before a particular source trauma I remember later on (Worth mentioning cause I never had a reaction to it beforehand)

Going back to the present, hearing the screams led me to start thinking of that night, and how it sounded very similar to her

I didn't realize I was in distress until I noticed warm tears running down my eyes and I was holding my breath

I felt like sharing that

I know source traumas are often very hard to talk about for a lot of folks, so I hope this help others feel they aren't stupid for feeling distress or grief when something reminds them of a past memory or a source trauma that they haven't fully processed yet

After all, you are reexperiencing your worst moments, so take it easy on yourself

A Conversation I Had Earlier Rekindling with a Old Friend:

I find it funny though I had to re-come out again as Toonix just now- and I'm still accepted just fine!

I was openly about it in high school and everybody was fine with it, some even would acknowledge it from time to time, in which I met them recently at the Dollar Store once! It's really cool knowing how accepting some people can be nowadays, Even if it's just a small amount, it's still something I'm ever grateful for!

I makes co-existing with humans and nonhumans so much easier than having to hide a huge chunk of myself from them!

It's also very funny in hindsight too cause wdym Felix the Cat attended high school and saw someone cosplaying as Bakugo in full attire + wig on a regular Thursday?

I oddly was a quick learner and honestly I felt nostalgic playing baseball again!

It was really weird at first, genuine deja vu!

I am planning to continue do this every once a week, and since my whole family like baseball, they're all very excited the fact I am getting into it!

I'm hoping to get just as good as I was back then!! 😼☝️

Whenever I get dysphoric of my human body, I just try to remember that this is just me humanized, my features were transferred into this human body, and therefore I can beat the toonix dysphoria

Cause yes guys, I do miss being a silly rubberhose cat, it comes with the package, but I always beat the dysphoria cause I remember the moments people have interacted with me-

I also find it very funny whenever people see me outside of my socials

Lot of people seem to recognize me online and come ask about myself often (I tend to not know if I should use I or speak in the third person sometimes because of some not knowing what toonixes are but I digress), and there's been a particular moment where my friend and I met someone who knew just as much about me as myself!

It was a blast talking to them genuinely a wonderful time, but then he puts icing on the cake and says I sound similar to myself and compliments my voice- thinking I was voice acting-

I think what's very funny is that I do admit my family in a way excepted that I'm a toonix without even knowing, and I mean to a degree!

They say some really toonix affirming things, such as my mom pointing out I have natural cat eyes! Sooner or later, I am getting my cat fangs back, a little disappointing that it's not permanent fangs but least my mom is getting fangs with me- and they are allowing me to rebuild my magic bag! They'll even acknowledge that my name is Felix, that's better than nothing everyone!

The only thing I can is a shame is that my mom doesn't really care for my shows-- everyone's a critic 😭☝️
