the other thing was like insisting on calling daisy skye and like i don't really remember how things went on aos maybe the show hadn't made it clear at the time this was written that daisy is the name she's sticking with bc most of the time when i see people who insist on calling her skye they're people who ship her with ward and don't acknowledge she evolved past that period of time obviously ward had nothing to do with it bc she was part of one of the weird side pairings BUT like i can appreciate that it was the name she'd chosen for herself and she wanted to keep it but yeah i'm always just like but her name's daisy :(

and since it was such an ensemble story it did feel like an avengers movie in that i didn't see a lot of MY faves namely sam and nat as much as i wanted like obvs giving me a good bit of stevebucky is what matters most but ya know

also while as i figured they didn't tag minor character death bc she wasn't dead but also they never CONFIRMED just hinted and it was one that wasn't meant to be tied up nicely but i was just bummed bc i was so excited when i saw bruce/betty and then didn't get to see them together and didn't get to see them reunite when she was revealed to not be dead so like that particular bit was the most unsatisfying to me bc people virtually NEVER bring her into fic and i loved them in the hulk movie so like something is better than nothing but i wanted to see them together and happy when virtually everyone else ended nicely with their respective significant other except for him

i do like this fic otherwise but the side pairings i'm just skjdfjs

i love the…. almost horror aspects of this album. all the references to ghosts and death…. and sonically, the unexpected shrieking in WAOLOM and the banging and screaming during “old habits die screaming” and even the way the tension subtly builds across the sixteen tracks and by the end you’re so stressed and shaken it’s like! losing your sense of self and feeling like you’ve become a monster is horror. and i’m sooooo glad she leaned into it

I think Fortnight plays off Dickinson’s relationship with Sue.

They’re mostly writing, imagining being close enough to touch, her letters even get burned.

The early romance Sue and Emily had was sidetracked by Sue’s secret relationship (what about your quiet treason?) and marriage to Austin.

After which they primarily expressed their feelings in writing. Even now historians still debate if Emily and Sue loved each other physically/romantically and Taylor repeatedly insists “but I touched you”. Near the end of Emily’s life Sue told her Austin had a mistress.

forgive me for being this dark. but all these people saying Taylor Swift is too perfect and too privileged to suffer would have pitied her and championed her as an underdog if she had successfully killed herself like she said she wanted to over and over on TTPD.

Movies would have been made about the last few years leading up to her death, they’d make theories about whose fault it REALLY is, they’d shame and scold each other for how they treated her, comparing her to Marilyn Monroe and Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. And she would be dead just the same. And they would learn nothing.

They’re playing Drown The Witch. If she lives, her life isn’t that bad. If she dies, oh my god, she was suffering, we should’ve known.

omg i’m so mad i went to return that dumb twilight fanfiction to the library and noticed some of the pages were wet so my water bottle must’ve spilled on it the other day (which it wouldn’t have been anywhere near the book if the dumb mini cooper had cup holders that fit anything but a to go cup) and like if i had noticed earlier i might’ve waited and let it dry out to see if it was okay but i was already there so i went ahead and paid for it like i have never had a library fine or anything so the first time had to be a book i couldn’t stand the majority of lol like you are not worth my fifteen dollars!!! anyway i do figure it’ll be fine when it’s dry and i wipe the cover down which idk how there’s even dirt in the passenger seat footwell when i never have passengers but whatever i’ll just donate it but like. man why that book
