BIG ANNOUNCEMENT:

That's right! After so long, I've finally decided to give myself my own channel so some of my DeviantArt followers can find me here! (if they have YT channels, that is)

For the past 7 years I've been uploading most of my videos on my main channel named after my mom (yes, the channel I upload on is named after my mom). Recently, I've been making some short animatics that I've been upset about since they're not exactly gaining the traction I was hoping for.

My solution to this was do the same thing done by my friend @jojoleafy by giving myself my own YouTube channel with the same username! To kick things off, I brought one of my animations over to my new channel (while simultaneously having to delete it from my main channel), and I've linked my DA, Tumblr, and Bluesky pages in the channel description. And to contemplate this big change, I've decided that my first channel will mostly be edits and whatnot, while my new channel specializes in animation and the fanart I make. So if you wanna find some of my content on my new YouTube channel, click the link below to subscribe to the channel and click on the notification bell to be notified of whenever I upload new videos, shorts, or community posts of my fanart! You've probably seen it before, but just for a recap, Bandee having paws was inspired by @jojoleafy's take on the character (I tried to mention you in my video's description but your channel name didn't pop up even if I spelled it correctly. Apologies, my dude)

The artwork I drew above the video was meant to be the original thumbnail, but apparently, YouTube can't process thumbnails that are over 2 MB big. I had to go with this simple, lazy ass thumbnail I made in IbisPaint X in about a minute. >:(

Either way, fairly certain this vid is gonna get like, what, 20 views or so? Seems about right.

Happy 63rd birthday to the one and only Tom Kenny!

Really, this was just my excuse for wanting to draw characters from other media to show how much I appreciate them. In case you don't recognize some of these characters, here they are in clockwise order (from top right):

The Ice King (from Adventure Time)

Heffer Wolfe (from Rocko's Modern Life, which just so happened to be Kenny's first voice role at Nickelodeon)

Dr. Two Brains (from WordGirl. What? I didn't say there were gonna be any characters from edutainment shows in this. Plus, he sounds basically identical to the Ice King. Also you should really watch WordGirl, it's absolutely hilarious-)

The Mayor of Townsville (from The Powerpuff Girls). The PPG Narrator is also here, but he's literally just a disembodied voice.

SpongeBob SquarePants (from... well, read his name again.)

Commander Peepers (from Wander Over Yonder. You can barely see him because he's being frozen by the Ice King but shhhhhhhhhh!)

Listen, I know there's a lotta focus on Tom Kenny's Nickelodeon characters, but realistically speaking, between Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and PBS Kids, which channel is Tom Kenny gonna be the most recognizable on? That's right, Nickelodeon.

Funtime Redesigns! (Pt. 1)

Yup. I redesigned them again.

While these designs are still largely based on @margicristal13‘s take on the Funtimes, I've been experimenting for the past week and deciding to alter my already altered designs for all the Funtimes to reflect my personalities for them and make them all more lively.

Thought process below!

I really wanted to emphasize the concept of Circus Baby being a joyous, upbeat clown with some control freak tendencies, so I gave her a bigger clown nose, some puffier sleeves, and even a pair of large white pants under her skirt with a bunch of red, blue, and yellow polka-dots around them (they, along with changing Circus Baby's metal fan area where her claw is, were inspired by a Circus Baby redesign from a DeviantArt user named froguu13). The pants were also me trying to reflect that Circus Baby has a very… bizarre and awkward fashion sense. Plus, I gave her a candy cane ring she got from Freddy :3

Ballora is alluring and elegant, but with a hidden disturbing side with a scary temper that she tries to control. I wanted to give her more of a gothic look with darker clothes, black roses in her hair, and a spider web motif throughout (since Ballora is known for crawling on all fours like a spider when hunting you down). I changed her eyes from white to black with purple irises, just to give her that hidden creepiness factor that she's so renowned for.

Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon are opposites: Ft. Freddy is loud but an expert at comedy, while Bon Bon is his agitated straight man who is clearly exasperated of having to deal with his antics (along with the rest of his friends’ shenanigans), but still sticks by his side and is his most loyal companion. Funtime Freddy's outfit I'd a lot more bright and wacky, with his vest being purple with polka-dots on the left and the right side being pink with swirls (as well as being a little nod towards his Prototype design being mostly pink). He has fluffier hair styled like Pennywise the Clown, though with the small tuft of fur under his hat being puffy and curled. Bon Bon's design is mostly unchanged, but with greater emphasis on him being a puppet on Ft. Freddy’s hand, with notable stitches and fluffier fur. He also has glasses because he's a pretty smart guy. Also before I move on, I just wanna add that my version of Funtime Freddy does have both hands - it's just that his left hand has fingers with the endoskeleton exposed, allowing him to stick them into four tiny slots in Bon Bon's underside to hold him like a ventriloquist dummy.

Funtime Foxy's sorta like Rarity: a vain, overdramatic show-off who acts like the ringmaster of the group despite obviously not being the leader, but is still very loyal and polite to her friends. I changed her basic pink suit into a magenta ringmaster's coat while keeping her skirt the same… and that's pretty much it. I wanted more changes for her, but the coat was the only thing I could settle on.

Ennard's design is mostly unchanged from margi's interpretation of the character, but my design wanted to reinforce the idea that he's a giant amalgamation of all the main Funtimes; I traded the tentacles I used in his old design for having small elements of the previous four characters laying throughout his outfit, such as having Ft. Freddy's right foot, Bon Bon's paw awkwardly hanging out of his left sleeve, and even having Circus Baby's right eye. His cape also has parts of their outfits stitched in, adding a sense of culmination in his design. This was meant to reflect my take on Ennard as a big, frightening monster, but clearly having a tender heart behind the mask that shows that he cares for kids and wants to protect them (which, in hindsight, is almost similar to the Puppet).

I... I don't even know what I'm doing at this point. I just drew @das-a-kirby-blog's Gooey design from his Candyland AU in my style because I'm tired, I can't think of anything to draw before pride month ends (and this month was pretty bad for me anyway), I just wanna move on to July already--
