Summary: When Harry is defeated by Voldemort in their final duel and all hope is lost. Hermione is determined to fix what went wrong in the past and breaks the fundamental laws of time when she misuses her time turner to send herself back to their first year, into an alternate reality where she becomes her younger self instead of being an alternate & older version. She halts from being her outgoing and bossy self to stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. Events good and bad are so interwoven that she misleads herself, Harry and Ron and ironically Draco Malfoy, their arch nemesis, Of course, once you remove the bitterness and assumptions he can appear like a different person.

Slytherin! headmaster Albus Dumbledore. His desire for power is still there and actually fits with his personality.

Ravenclaw! Hermione Granger. You know she belongs there.

Slytherin! Percy. That little sh*t got sorted into Gryffindor because the Hat got tired of analyzing the traits of the Weasley siblings. The rest of them are all Gryffindor, though.

Slytherin! Harry Potter being the good guy and saving the Wizarding world from Lord Voldermort. *The hat should have said Slytherin, for God's sake*

Fall 2021 Book Wishlist

My favorite genre's are Young Adult, Mystery and some autobiographies.

What are you looking forward to for the remainder of the year?

1) The Woods are Always Watching by Stephanie Perkins- August 31, 2021

If you are a fan of horror, then you may like this, she wrote There's Someone Inside your House and I loved that one, so I'm super excited for this new scary story. This one is about two teens going on a 3 day hiking trip into the woods.

2) Fumiko and the Finnicky Nestmate (Amaranthine Saga#5) by Forthright- October 22, 2021

This is more of an indie title, as the author isn't as well known but if you liked InuYasha the series by Rumiko Takahashi(Manga & Anime) then you may like her books. These are a paranormal fantasy romance series, featuring a world of humans discovering the existence of people that aren't human or animal but exhibits traits of both, legend come to life. Each book contains an unique story about a new main character and their love story, the books all connect elements and a wide cast of characters together in a unique fantasy world.

3) Our Violent Ends (These Violent Delights#2) by Chloe Gong- November 16,2021

The romantic Sequel to one of the booktok recommendations. I just ordered my copy of the first book so I don't know what I think just yet but the summary sounds good, Romeo and Juliet retelling set in 1920s gangster-run Shanghai.

4) Fault Lines by Emily Itami - September 7, 2021

A bittersweet romance of a Japanese housewife whos wonders how she got where she is and then meets a man who owns his own restaurant.

5) Paybacks a Witch by Lana Harper-October 5, 2021

A girl taking revenge on a dude with another girl he was messing around with, who then falls for the girl, Witches, magic and love. It sounds fun.
