Humans  and mail

Mail Time, 

Hello All, I  realized that I wanted to start  this blog , and Vlog  and  have it be fun, 

However, reviewing the previous one I noticed I didn't quite select a  fun topic. 

So I was watching one of Casey Nisetat´s videos ( I am a huge fan )   and  I realized that every single children’s show has a variety of mail time,  I mean we all love receiving things. I think .. at least I know I do.  Even if  I ordered it for myself. and I love watching the mail time episodes he has. 

 So I started to look into the shows I  watched as a child,  like  Mr. Rogers,  where I found this  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObHNWh3F5fQ  and just made me fall in love with  Mr Rogers all over again,  where they talk about the mailman in Mr. Rogers played a huge part   ( considering the political climate and hatred at the time )  in a  national show. 

Let’s give a moment of thought to what we have been taught and realize what is good for our lives now, Much like Everything I learned in Mr. Rogers’s neighborhood it all stays. I don’t think I remember  a  bad thing in that show... like at all

However, I was also a very political child growing up in Mexico and remember a  lot of that  I would not want to continue in this world, but that is our next episode on how history repeats itself..

Anyway  Mail time, In a lot  of ways  to me that comes in music,  when   I was more active with crushing balls  records I loved listening  to new acquisitions  of  metal bands  from all over the world, even if  I  didn’t become a huge fan of that particular band   they still held a  special place   only because they were part of that   small clan, and I received  their music   physically )  something that you don’t get to do anymore also that is  the reason I am getting other merchandise made and trying to get it out there, so people experience the same excitement you get when you receive a package, it's almost like getting a present even though you know what is inside. All my music is on Spotify but I want to send people something physical too. 

Anyway

Hey I just started a  Vlog

Hello  All I hope   to  start  doing this at least once a week

Today we  are going to be touching on the subject of   conspiracy  theories that   have exploded     after   the pandemic  started,  they have been a lot, and  while going over   a lot of  videos  that  have  touched on these, and  frankly   thinking them as complete insanity I decided to look into if  people   have taken  any of  this  crap seriously,  then  seeing  that  someone  went to the point    of   taking a  gun to a pizza place, I  realized   that   there are  a lot of people that   are taking this  seriously, and  my thought  reverted  to  Plato’s  analogy of the cave  (1) Here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RWOpQXTltA  is a youtube video  that explains the allegory ( not my video ) it’s self  and there is a link to  the pdf of the allegory as well if you would like to  read   the  original  from Plato’s  Republic,

  I present to you that we are in a way all in a cave,  in the same cave and seeing all these shadows,   which in our current world with the information superhighways  (the internet) are very connected,  however, we still see shadows,  and we are still each in our cave  ( thus feeling that the information that we gather is our own instead of crazy babble ), I present to you that as we are told what these shadows are, ( explanations for non-transparencies in government and bad handling of our government offices, or explanations for the pandemic, Etc, etc. ), and if we don’t use logic to discern what these “shadows”  are by ourselves and put full credit to internet trolls,  and another such faceless creature that should never be taken seriously,  we end up in our current situation.

  Sadly the end of the allegory is that the caved ones don’t seem to believe the truth even after they are physically shown evidence of what the shadows were.  And  it seems  that  there are  many  of these  in  the world  right now, I  don’t know what to   think about this  Pandemic of stupidity  amidst of a real pandemic, Think  for yourself, push yourself to   find  flaw

Hello all! As a musician, song writer, producer , etc. I am always on the lookout for new ideas so I can give them life.  This is an idea. that came up to my good friend the awesome percussionist Gerardo Samaniego and  myself one day as we were both still in college. We were practicing and all of a sudden we had the idea if we played in a very echoed setting and we came up with this piece.  Also I want to tell you the story of the project's name

Kapeh means coffee in Mayan and since Gerry and I love the drink well, we decided to name this project like this. OK now I invite you to write a comment and guess where we are playing.
