the episodic timeline of mrs mac and bonnie kelly

dennis looks like a registered sex offender- they both attend mac and charlie's dinner party at mrs mac's house, the 2 dont interact more than mrs mac laughing when charlie tells bonnie he shit in her food. bonnie arrives with frank and leaves flirting with luther (who later moves in with her, but is subsequently arrested)

mac and charlie die (pt 2)- they both attend their sons' joint funeral, mrs mac watches tv/sleeps through it, bonnie remains distraught, they leave around the same time

the waitress is getting married- they both attend the waitress' bachelorette party at dee's apartment, they are drunk and remain entangled on the couch, bonnie states she doesnt have a ride and they are presumably kicked out of the apartment together

mac's mom burns her house down- mac, charlie, and dennis bring mrs mac to bonnie's house, bonnie complains about mrs mac who mainly ignores her, but eventually they bond and move in together

charlie's mom has cancer- mrs mac and bonnie are enmeshed, they are shown going to church together and it is eventually revealed that while driving around in "[their]" car they crashed and are now pulling an elaborate scheme for money to remedy their damage

mac kills his dad- the two are interrogated by their sons and, against mrs mac's will, bonnie reveals that for a few of the months that the two have been living together, luther stayed with them as well, bringing along his lover eduardo to spitroast and then ignore bonnie in favor of each other

ass kickers united: mac and charlie join a cult- they both join dennis' cult, bonnie advocates for mrs mac when she's struggling during their excercises, then while taking a break they watch the younger woman working out alongside them and share a look. they end up soaking in a bath together

old lady house: a situation comedy- the inner workings of their relationship are revealed; they are mutually abusive and it apprears to work for them, as bonnie has long been established as a masochist who prefers to be treated badly, and mrs mac is simply mean and doesn't care what happenes to her as long as she gets to keep being mean

after this point their relationship is basically established and they rarely appear separately. random small points in the remaining episodes:

the two have an arrangement which allows mrs mac to focus on smoking while bonnie drives the car

they both agree to join dee on a cross country flight to the los angeles women's march, eventually the 2 make it to los angeles alone, having lost the rest of their group
