Danganronpa case similarities of each game (dr1, sdr2, drv3) >**spoilers**<

Case 1 Similarities

-Someone tries to kill someone and fails, and someone else dies instead.-

Dr1: Sayaka tries to kill Leon, she fails and then dies instead.

Sdr2: Teruteru tries to kill Nagito and fails, and he ends up killing Twogami (Ultimate Imposter) instead.

Drv3: Kaede tries to kill the mastermind but fails. Rantaro ends up dying instead. (Which is also done by the mastermind)

Case 2 Similarities

-Someone who has killed many people is the prime suspect at a point in the case, but is actually innocent.-

Dr1: Toko is considered the murderer when revealed that her other personality is Genocide Jack the serial killer, but is cleared of those suspicions caused by Byakuya.

Sdr2: Sparkling Justice is considered to be the murderer as Peko claims to be that person but it is soon found out that that identity belongs to someone else.

Drv3: Maki is the prime suspect because of her discussion with Ryoma on the night of the murder, but her name is soon cleared. However, she is later discovered to be an experienced assassin.

Case 3 Similarities

-This one is easy. There are two victims in the case.-

Dr1: Hifumi kills Taka and then is betrayed by Celeste who kills him.

Sdr2: Mikan kills Hiyoko when preparing to kill Ibuki, and then finally kills Ibuki.

Drv3: Korekiyo kills Angie when preparing a murder, and then kills Tenko as his designated victim.

Case 4 Similarities

-Someone sacrifices themselves for the sake of the rest of the group.-

Dr1: Sakura kills herself so that everyone will get along and no more murders will happen.

Sdr2: Gundham and Nekomaru agree to fight to the death so that a murder happens and no one starves to death.

Drv3: Gonta kills Miu so that he can become the blackened and be the only one alive who has to live with the truth of the outside world.

Case 5 Similarities

-Many injuries were inflicted upon the body, hiding the cause of death.

Dr1: Mukuro was stabbed by Monokuma (Junko) for breaking the rules. Her body was struck on the back of the head by an object as thick as a metal pipe. It was also stabbed through the stomach all the way to her back. The body was also exploded.

Sdr2: Nagito stabbed himself in the legs and left arm. He slammed his right hand onto an upright knife. Furthermore, he inhaled a gaseuous poison and had a spear plunged into his stomach.

Drv3: Kokichi was shot in the right arm by a crossbow arrow. He was then shot in the back by a poisoned crossbow arrow. He was finally crushed alive by a hydraulic press.

And there you have it.

Here i am with another SU theory:

If you have not watched Change Your Mind, STOP READING.

This theory is going to be focusing on Pearl.

So let’s begin with Yellow Pearl, Blue Pearl, and Pink Pearl.

Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond both have their gems on their chest and their pearls have the same placement as seen below.

Also, both pearls have color schemes that match their Diamond. Blue Pearl is all Blue and Yellow Pearl is all Yellow.

Then comes in Pink Pearl.

As you can see below, Pink Pearl is all Pink, similar to have the other Pearls are to their Diamonds.

Pink Pearl’s gem is also on her naval, just like Pink Diamond/Steven’s.

Okay. Now let’s go back to the episode for a second.

As we all know, at one point in the episode Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are being controlled by White Diamond.

When the gems are brought out of the mind controlled state, you can hear Amethyst say the following: “Uh… What happened?” Implying that they have no memory of being mind controlled.

So back to our Pearl.

Going off of the pearls we have seen thus far, pearls seem to have to have an exact color scheme based off of their “owner.” (Disclaimer: we haven’t seen many pearls so i can’t exactly say that this is a necessity, but this is just a theory.)

Keeping this in mind, Pearl has never had a complete monochrome color scheme.

The picture below is from when Pearl still belonged to Pink Diamond and served homeworld.

As you can see her hair is pretty pink tinted along with her skin, but she is wearing blue and gold instead of all pink.

Okay, so here is my hypothesis:

What if Pearl was White Diamond’s Pearl before becoming Pink Diamond’s?

Okay before you all start trying to overthrow this, let’s look at the evidence.

If Pearl was under White Diamond’s Pearl than she would have been Greyscale while under White’s control, yeah? Due to this, her natural form would not need to have had a monochrome color scheme.

If Pearl had been under White’s control, it is completely possible that she could have no memory of the whole thing. We don’t have enough information yet to determine whether one remembers their time being under White’s mind control or not, but as inferred from Amethyst’s statement above it is not a hard assumption to make.

My last and most obvious piece of evidence to point out is that Pearl’s gem is on her forehead in the exact place that White Diamond’s is.

So what if Pearl was White Pearl and just has no memory of it? Then when Pink lost Pink Pearl, instead of white having two pearls they just switched pearls because White thought that White Pearl would follow the rules.

I acknowledge that this is a slight leap, but as we have seen in the past, there are hardly any “coincidences” in Steven Universe.

Pearl could’ve also just been randomly picked for pink and just so happened to have her gem on her head, but again, there aren’t many “coincidences” in Steven Universe.
