Mermay Day 7 : Miyazaki Okay, so, technically, Granmamare isn't a mermaid. But I watched Ponyo just before drawing and I couldn't think of a better character to draw for this theme other than her. Technically not a mermaid but still the Goddess of the Sea, and she's so beautiful ! It may be off theme, but like I said, I don't participate to the challenge to win anything, I want to have fun, so it's okay. I did this drawing in watercolors, because after all the AI problems Miyazaki and Ghibli faced recently, I wanted to do something traditional. Idk if it has sense lmao.

Mermay day 3! Theme : Hair Hair? Body hair? I chose both!

Mermay Day 2 - Theme Cosmic Not my best artwork, I wanted to work on silhouette and trying some brushes on Clip Studio Paint for the starry sky. Not great, but for me the point of the challenge is to try new things! Also, all my drawings for the Mermay are Oneshots, means that even if a drawing is bad, I'll still publish it in state and not redo it. I think it's by making mistakes we're learning! And honestly, with 31 drawings to do in one month, of course some drawings will be less good than others, it's okay, I'm fine with that. My goal is to have fun and that's what matter.
