Last thing I'll say about the AI-related news today:

The most damning thing you can say to Tumblr/Automattic right now is that you will never spend any money on a service they provide--no merch, no crabs, no ad-free, nothing--because they are partnering with unscrupulous companies who have proven time and again that they do not care about consent or IP rights at all.

So if you send feedback about it, make sure you make it clear: this made a serious negative financial impact for them.

And once again: do not ever tell anyone, not even corporations, to kill themselves. That's an asshole thing to say and it will make sure they ignore anything else you have to say on top of it. Don't be an asshole. They already covered that part.

Going to agree with mremaknu. I don't know *officially* if I have ocd, but I know *unofficially* that I have anxiety, ADHD, and may also display symptoms associated with OCD. Various examples: straightening a frame, then coming back later and fixing it again, then coming back later and fixing it again; getting fixated on how a pair of headphones doesn't have the "right" balance between the left and right speakers, which causes me to lose an evening to frustration over things not sounding the way they "should;" Or having to check the front door handle to see if it's locked by jiggling the handle three times, walking down the street, then walking back to the house to see if the door is locked. Also saying phrases like "I want to go home" and my boss's name over and over and over during the course of a day.

Please don't call me spicy or sparkly.
