Wellness isn’t just lack of disease in the body. It’s presence of joy in your heart. It’s laughter with friends, creating something that excites you, getting lost in a good book, or standing under the moonlight breathing in the night air.
A life that feels alive is a life that heals. Tend to your heart ♥️

I've just recently become mesmerized by Mycomedicinals (or medicinal mushrooms) and so I was inspired to create this series I call "The Magic of Medicinal Mushrooms & their Healing Powers - A Series". Not going to lie, it made me feel like a faerie 🧚 💫 making this post!
🍄 For context: I’ve always loved herbs (and been a believer in plants as medicine, even as a child, steeping my chamomile tea as my grandmother taught me for an upset stomach), but during my integrative medicine training, my mind was opened up to a whole new realm of organisms - fascinating medicinal creatures called medicinal mushrooms!
🍄 Medicinal Mushrooms are like Nature’s surprisingly powerful, natural medicines. Research has shown so much promise, although much is yet to be understood and discovered.
🍄 In today’s post in the series, I’d like to talk about Lion’s Mane, the “brain boosting hero”.
🍄 Lion’s Mane has been studied and showed promise for memory, cognition, stress reduction, and even Alzheimer’s.
🍄Research shows Lion’s Mane stimulates nerve growth factor (NGF), which supports brain regeneration & neuroplasticity.
🍄 In clinical trials, Lion’s Mane improved short-term memory, reaction times, and even cognitive function in Alzheimer’s patients. Some studies suggest it may also help with stress & mood balance!
🍄 How to take it? Capsules, powders, teas—or even Lion’s Mane-infused cookies (yes, really).
🍄 Have you tried Lion’s Mane for memory & brain health?
Drop a 🍄 in the comments! (and follow for more integrative medicine, holistic tips!)

Emotions are stored in the body. As I dive deeper into my integrative medicine training, I feel elated to realize that medicine is finally catching up to the beliefs I personally held since I was in medical school. Dis-ease is often times not just organic, but emotional, spiritual, and mental as well. What “ills” you in spirit, can “ill” you in body.

Can lavender really help with anxiety? 🌿💜 This ancient herb has been used for centuries, but modern science is backing up its benefits in a big way. During my integrative medicine training, I’ve learned just how magical this herb can be. Research shows lavender can calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and even help with sleep and pain relief—without the side effects of traditional meds.
How can you make lavender work for you? 💊 Oral lavender (Silexan™) is best for long-term anxiety relief
🌬️ Aromatherapy works for quick, short-term calming
🩹 Topical lavender can ease stress and tension when massaged into the skin
A 2019 analysis of 65 studies found that lavender significantly reduces anxiety, and Silexan™ (a daily 80mg lavender supplement) showed proven effectiveness without sedation or dependency.
So, what do you think—would you try lavender for stress relief? 💜

In all seriousness these books will transform your life.
Your Body Believes Every Word You Say What you say, your body hears so start talking to yourself like someone you love 🌿🧠 . Your stories create disease or health!
Let Them by Mel Robbins Protect your peace, if they wanna go, let them. It’s their journey, not yours 🚪✨ you will have a lot more peace in your life with that attitude
The Courage to Be Disliked Easy to read. You don’t need everyone’s approval to live YOUR life. Big self-love energy 💪🔥
Power of Imagination by Neville Goddard My favorite book of all time. All of Neville’s works in one. Your imagination isn’t just for daydreams—it’s your greatest tool for transformation 💫🧠
The Body Keeps the Score RADICALLY changed how I view trauma. And yes I work with traumas in the ER daily. Both physical and mental. Your body remembers everything-trauma, healing, all of it. Let’s learn to let it go 🧡📖

Babe, emotional blocks aren’t walls - they’re signals. They don’t exist to stop you; they exist to guide you toward the lessons you’re ready to face.
✨ For years, I carried beliefs and emotions that kept me stuck in a loop- feeling like I couldn’t move forward no matter how much I wanted to. What I learned is this: emotional blocks thrive in silence. The moment you acknowledge them, they begin to lose their power.
✨ Tip 1: NAME THE BLOCK. Ask yourself: What am I afraid of? What belief is holding me back? Often, naming the emotion takes away its power and hold over us.
✨ Tip 2: REFRAME. Challenge the belief: Is this absolutely true? Or necessary even? What would I tell a friend in my situation? What if this isn’t here to hurt me but to teach me or serve me?
✨ Tip 3: RELEASE THE ENERGY. Trapped emotions are trapped energy. Try EFT (tapping), breathwork, yoga, movement, or even journaling to let go of the tension that blocks hold. My favorite is to write it all down then burn it.
✨ remember, you are capable of healing and transformation. The path may not always feel easy, but every step brings you closer to freedom and growth.
