Okay so like, petty fandom arguments and other bs aside, can we all just generally agree that- objectively- MalleYuu is fucking hilarious?

Sorry this took so long!

For Olivia, that person would be her mother, Adelina! The two have always been incredibly close with one another and frankly I feel the lack of ability to even speak to her or see her really fucks with Olivia a lot, or at least it's one of the hardest parts of being stuck in another world for her.

I also need to expand more on Rahma's family, but I HC at the moment her mother was the one to train her too!

For Saori, all of her female friends. /hj Specifically though, Celes would be someone she very openly expresses respect and reverence for, due to her having found her when she got separated from her friends and helped her learn how to fight and defend herself. Plus, given they travelled together for a decent bit of KH1, Saori likely feels in debt to her for helping her not give into despair or sadness what with the weight of 'by god my world is literally gone'. Celes is initially kinda annoyed by Saori but their bond basically ends up being forged in fire. Saori is also a major Disney Princess admirer. Yes, that does mean all of them!

Laurel facts!! i'll just bullet these hfkjgg

Laurel is raised by his older brother, Oleander --- who is human, they are not related by blood and their relationship with each other is rather complicated in nature. His brother is protective and gentle yet can also be harsh and strict --- he's very particular about what Laurel can and cannot do.

Laurel is a Nymph, basically my answer to flower humanoid --- however despite this unlike another nymph like Daphne, he does not know his ability to turn into a plant well at all. His understanding of his nymph abilities are extremely limited due to how he was raised!

Laurel is Pomefiore First Year & is 16! Though she is not in this dorm by her own soul-reading but rather simply because her brother was there --- and their entry as students is more complicated as Laurel doesn't enter the same as a normal student but rather enters under strange circumstances! He exists under my ".5 book" logic, please don't ask abt this if you think its cringe lol

She has a lot of hobbies, while I think she enjoys baking --- I don't think she'd be the best cook at first, give her some time she'll learn! She didn't have much to eat beyond very limited dishes, most of which include berries.

Some of her hobbies ; doodling, reading -- mostly about plants and animals and lots of fiction, is hair a hobby bc if so ofc thats his hobby since he has so much of it, he also does chores which can count as a hobby I guess?? lol

While his hobbies are mundane due to being a homebody who lived in isolation for so long, I think Laurel enjoys exploring new hobbies ---- example if he and Epel rode blastcycles together, he'd probs be interesting that, she also likes the idea of travelling though has a weak constitution so he isn't the best for certain climates!

He's very weak and sick in the winter, and it is a nymph trait! Being a nymph, his body is kinda tied to the function of plants --- He's at his healthiest in the warmer seasons like spring and gets a bit sicker in the colder seasons, this passes onto half-nymphs but not as extreme!

Laurel is a big Fluttershy kinnie, she's Fluttershy coded and I imagine her voice to be in a similar sort of sound in terms of gentleness and quiet tone!

She tends to dislike conflicts and tries to avoid them, but his biggest issues are internal conflicts lol

He has a low social battery but always tries to push herself, it is just a natural consequence of how she is and how she's used to being alone! She tries her best to spend time with friends. . . .

Friends would honestly? I think Laurel would get along well with the Tweels ---- it seems odd, but Jade loves nature and so does Laurel while Floyd is an agent of chaos and Laurel likes new experiences. Within his own grade, I think he'd be friends with Aggie ( another OC of mine ), Sebek, Deuce and Jack.

When Laurel is in his toxic dynamic with his brother, he's not allowed to participate in any club, but I think after the fact he'd probably join the art club or try out for a sport! But I don't think she'd make it into any sport!

He is shipped with Epel and they are so cute idc what anybody says grr arff arfff / here's some them vibes idk.

Laurel is twisted off of the Flower from Tangled with Rapunzel influences for obvious reasons, along with the Pixie Petal Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

A very base concept/Picrew for another TWST OC of mine, twisted from Xion from Kingdom Hearts! Her name is Eligia Shiono, but she goes by Leja.

She's kinda linked to Gwinnie's backstory a little, in the sense of her having been created by the organisation mentioned in it, The Thirteen. Her rough background is that she was created in a fashion not dissimilar to Ortho, but with more magic than tech, and as a copy of Nyxus, a member of the Thirteen who jumped ship. Shockingly, she eventually jumped ship and met Nyxus, shifting her own appearance to reflect her new identity. (Yes, this is to allude to the Xion being trans-HC because that is superior-)

Anyway! I'm still toying with what I want her Unique Magic to be. Still, I'm leaning on the idea of her having basically been made to absorb magic from others, kinda to reference how Xion absorbs strength from Roxas during Days. She relies on technology at the moment in order to halt its effects, and she's in Ignihyde as a result (and to tie into the stuff with Ortho because they're both "artificial" beings-)

I'm not actually sure who I'll pair her with, but we'll see how it plays out!

At long last, Olivia has an official design! As said in her introduction post, she's my MC/Yuusona, in her would-be dorm uniform for Ramshackle! I based it on a blend of the ghosts that inhabit the dorm and a bit of the uniforms worn by the staff for the Haunted Mansion ride, hence the little apron and the stripes.

This was my first time drawing Grim in...any capacity, but I think he's not too bad?? Will probably even out his scaling a bit once I do lineart tomorrow, but anyway!

This was also my first time in a while using DesignDoll in order to figure out the pose, and I'm actually quite happy with it?? I'm gonna try and do it more often.

This one's...definitely a niche, afherbgt. She's for Balan Wonderworld, and I'm gonna be honest and admit I got into it because I thought Lance's design was cool. But yeah, the rough idea is that she serves as the 'lovely assistant' for the Maestro, since they have the whole showmen theme going, and she also cares for the Tims, hence the shepherd hook-inspiration in how I drew her staff.

She's not actually a new OC, this art's from...November 2022, apparently!

Okay so lowkey, my brain says their 'worst' would-be date would be Sora attempting to take her to one of the worlds they're familiar with - maybe the Tangled world or the surface in Atlantica and then something kicking off in the middle of it, like something like the black rocks in the Tangled series or 'what do you mean Ursula has a crazy sister', afhrbgtb, it just seem like they're type of luck!

However, both are also quite cheerful, and getting to spend time with their friends even in a chaotic mess is still time with friends! Then they could have a moment alone, maybe just chilling and catching their breath while lying amongst the flowers or on the beach. uwu

Ohhh, there's so many to choose from! Saori's a beach girl so swimming, volleyball, handball...she's a sporty girl. But I could also imagine the activity depending on what world she goes to!

Not gonna lie, if Sora gave her a pebble he'd do it with such earnest that she'd probably cry, afhrbgt. But I think she'd really like shells as a gift from him! As for him, she's not the most delicate with her hands, but I can see her trying to carve or craft little bits for him or cards, or trinkets from the Pirates world because she knows he likes that one especially, ahfrbgt.

5) How did s/o and oc get together?

In my head, Sora and Saori get together in KH3! They don't get a ton of time together as a couplet thanks to the end of that game, but they spend a lot of time dancing the line until it sets in for Sora and he probably on the spur of the moment offers to share the Paopu with her.

6) A scene between the two of them that plays in your mind!

FUCK this is a hard one, ahfebgbr. I think I'm gonna go with an unexpected one though! "Yeah, sorry..." Saori muttered under her breath. Huffing, she drew her blade again, the one Celes granted her. It might not have been a Keyblade, but it was enough. "It's okay, Sora! I'll protect you!"

It's quite short admittedly but it's a main alteration for the bit in KH1 when Donald and Goofy briefly leave the party to follow Riku instead, it sums up something - Saori's a loyal lady!

Not gonna lie, Gwinnie's definitely the one who picks the date that's their worst. Girl's not familiar with social customs or what really goes into one, so she probably tries to plan one out for them to prove she can do it only for them to end up either lost or out of a reservation because she bungled the time, afhrbgt. I feel they turn it around by probably just having an at home date, so basically they both end up snuggled on a couch after a movie and both conk out halfway through.

Honestly, Gwinnie's just happy to be here. /hj But on a serious note, she actually has a pretty diverse list of things to try, so really the activity can be an escape room one week and a trip to the art gallery another.

Gwinnie is a simple and romantic soul, so the classical stuff like flowers always make her smile! I think she'd gift Silver art or return the flower favour by making flower crowns, like how his little birds do, or even little bracelet flowers.

This is an interesting one as I feel they definitely aren't together yet as of Book 7's events, but they become closer on an emotional level there. Before that, I think Gwinnie had a pretty big crush on him, so I think after Book 7 and all the crazy shit clears up, they would begin dating then! ^^

My brain says that their worst date is actually pretty hard to come by, as Kalim's cheerfulness is very infectious and even if things don't go to plan, it'd be hard for them to consider it outright bad. I do imagine they'd be more likely to dislike a date that's considered 'typical' - like if they went to see a movie either because of people recognising Kalim and making it hard to actually get any peace, or the usual annoyances in a theatre like people talking, having their phones on, etc. It'd definitely drive Rahma up the wall, but they'd probably just go elsewhere and do something they know they like - you can't get bothered by anything but birds while on a magic carpet, for example!

VALENTINE'S DAY WORKOUT. A lot of Rahma's friends are also her workout buddies, but I think going to the market or going dancing are other things she'd do with her friends!

Kalim strikes me as a frequent gift-giver, it'd be easier to pinpoint the ones she DOESN'T like. Seriously though, Rahma tends to feel a bit guilty when Kalim spends money on her, especially because I imagine she doesn't really take her crush on him anywhere due to their difference in social class, and I feel even into a relationship that she'd struggle with accepting it. Rahma is an acts of service type, so her gifts come in the form of little things, like giving him a lucky feather from one of her birds or a particular item in the market that reminded her of him.

5) How did s/o and oc get together?

I...haven't actually figured this one out, I'll admit, afhrbgt. I can potentially see it being either after they graduate and can go more on their own individual paths, OR during school when Kalim's wanting to try and work on his dynamics with her and Jamil, because they want to be equals with each other. I'll need to give this one more thought...

Unlike Kalim and Rahma, I do think they'd actually quite like some of the classical ones if only because they seem like the types where they'd get some privacy, mostly due to choice. I feel their negative dates would be if they went somewhere that was overwhelming, and they'd not linger there long in that case.

Let's be blunt; Olivia's a nerd, and she's friends with the first years, so these interests clash. I do think she's a bit of an adrenaline junkie occasionally though, so she'd like the Magical Wheel, and on the whole, I think going to the fair/amusement park is one she'd like doing with them, especially to see how they react on rollercoasters.

One of the things with these two is I feel they're very attuned to each other's favourite stuff, so their gifts are quite personal. I think Olivia would gift him things pertaining to his very specific interests - so she would get him sheet music for violins/stringed instruments or, if she was able to go home and go back and forth, stuff from her world like historical books involving gargoyles. In the same vein, Malleus would get her books that she'd talked about liking or items from Briar Valley that she had sought to learn about. My brain also says one gift is a typewriter or an ink and quill, afhrbgt.

5) How did s/o and oc get together?

I think Olivia get together after the events of the game, when everything's settled down; specifically, I think it's one of those situations where she confesses to him as soon as she sees him once she gets back, especially because they were separated for however long.

C'mon. Just go up and say it. Olivia adjusted the mask over her face, the party in full swing - that Frollo-looking nut had been dealt with, even if he still seemed to lobby a grudge, the masquerade adorned with light and energy, helped along by Malleus, Azul and Idia's performance. And Malleus' solos especially... Now she just wanted to walk up and do something supposedly simple. Say his singing voice was really nice. But it was like her nerves had squeezed her voice box shut. Forcing herself to take a breath, she made her way over the small distance to where her notably taller friend stood, a small gleam in his eyes as he turned to her. "Ah, Child of Man. I was just about to come looking for you," Just do it. Just roll it out. "Yoursinging's- it's ah, it's really nice. AzulandIdiatooobviously but-" He smiled, and there was a chuckle from him. "Why, thank you. I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Actually...might I ask you for a dance?" FUCK YES. "Y-yeah! Y-yes, sure...! Yeah."

which game does she have the most growth during? This is a tricky one, but I'd say KH2 is the biggest place of growth, though KH4 might take that over depending on how things go in it. KH2 is kinda her peak for a bit until she starts crashing down after YX kicks shit out of her in 3D, anfrhgt. She definitely grows the most combat-wise in KH2 and emotionally it's when she starts to exit just the plucky himbo childhood friend mold and starts thinking deeper about everything (starting with romance thanks to all the couples, ahdebgr).

So that spin-off would probably depict her attempt to search and her attempting to try and dig herself out of the emotional pit because by then she's at rock bottom, RIP.

I'm torn on who'd admit it first, as Sora doesn't really think about it that way for a while - but given Saori's self-doubt, it's probably more likely that he would. It's probably a bit spur of the moment in a heart-to-heart moment then followed by sharing the Paopu Fruit potentially!

Ohhh that's a really good question actually...! So many choices...and my little Scottish ass is gonna say The Black Cauldron, specifically because Saori is unintentionally a bit of a Taran kinnie. Both want to be heroes and fight evil, they want to be more than they are but have that doubt about it, and the cauldron can seemingly revive the dead (albeit in a twisted fashion). Obviously there's tons of different ones that I'd love to see in KH, but The Black Cauldron I think would be a fun one for Saori specifically!

I definitely think a theme of something being transparent and then becoming solid could work? Perhaps the handle is kinda see-through with a watery look, and then becomes solid metal the further down the blade it goes? That might be a bit too on the nose tho, afhrbgtb.
