From the heart of unimaginable suffering, I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported my family 🙏🏻

Right now, famine is hitting us harder than ever, my heart cries whenever I go to the market to buy any basic necessities! The prices are crazy, and most days my children survive on just bread Hunger and thirst are destroying us, and cooking on fire increases our suffering unbearably! Severe eye and chest sensitivity, in addition to constant stomach pain due to the type of food and the way it is cooked.

All this while we flee from one place to another in fear of bombing, bullets, and imminent danger! I cannot describe what I feel, but it is a feeling beyond exhaustion!

Despite the exhaustion, your support gives us strength and I hope you will not let us down

just thinking about agatha’s desperation to cling to the upper hand at all times with rio. rio thinks she’s vulnerable? “only physically.” rio gifts her with a flower? agatha rips it out of her hand as if she’s not going to keep it. rio pokes at old wounds with the intent to hurt as she’s been hurt? agatha ends things, on her terms.

even in episode 8, we see it. agatha’s battered and beaten and laying on the floor with a mouthful of her own blood, so exhausted that she’s letting it coat her teeth. she doesn’t fight it. she even admits it to billy: “we can’t fight death.” she tells him she’ll sacrifice herself — she seems, for all intents and purposes, like she’s given up. she’s weak. she’s dying.

but rio gets up. rio perseveres. rio stands there, strong and confident and bound to win … and agatha?

agatha spits the blood from her mouth and balls her fists.

it's crazy to me that almost everyone on the team had their own view or lens through which they perceived who jackie was. but what's even crazier is that, out of all of them, natalie probably got the closest to seeing her simply as a person. somehow, it was nat who acknowledged her death, took care of her remains, showed vulnerability and apologized to her. and even months later, you can count on her to keep jackie's memory alive, mentioning her, and still seeing jackie as the captain.
