Yvonne: It's beer before liquor, never sicker, but where exactly does champagne fit into the equation? Rochelle: Wine before beer and you'll feel queer? Teddy: What if I always feel queer? Gemma: Maybe you just shouldn't mix your alcohol? Tansy: It feels great. Like I'd do it all over again! Rochelle: I think that's the champagne talking. Yvonne: She's queer. Tansy: Tell me something I don't know.

The first few chapters of The Fiancée Farce are hilarious in general, but Teddy is the icing on the wedding cake!

Here's me thinking the brunette looks like Alexandra Daddario 🤣
I'm reading the Fiancée Farce by Alexandria Bellefleur and so far it's excellent, but I kept looking at the cover and something about it was bothering me.
Tumblr media
Then as I kept thinking about it and looking at it, it hit me. That's Anna Kendrick and Cate Blanchett, maybe Blake Lively.
Tumblr media
The brunette on the cover is definitely Anna Kendrick and I can't stop laughing now as I imagine her in this Sapphic romance 😂.

I am at the 10th chapter of Payback's a Witch by Lana Harper and I must say that I, too, am a lil bit in love with Talia Avramov.

Payback’s a Witch by Lana Harper
Emmy Harlow is a witch but not a very powerful one—in part because she hasn’t been home to the magical town of Thistle Grove in years. Her self-imposed exile has a lot to do with a complicated family history and a desire to forge her own way in the world, and only the very tiniest bit to do with Gareth Blackmoore, heir to the most powerful magical family in town and casual breaker of hearts and destroyer of dreams.
But when a spellcasting tournament that her family serves as arbiters for approaches, it turns out the pull of tradition (or the truly impressive parental guilt trip that comes with it) is strong enough to bring Emmy back. She’s determined to do her familial duty; spend some quality time with her best friend, Linden Thorn; and get back to her real life in Chicago.
On her first night home, Emmy runs into Talia Avramov—an all-around badass adept in the darker magical arts—who is fresh off a bad breakup … with Gareth Blackmoore. Talia had let herself be charmed, only to discover that Gareth was also seeing Linden—unbeknownst to either of them. And now she and Linden want revenge. Only one question stands: Is Emmy in?
But most concerning of all: Why can’t she stop thinking about the terrifyingly competent, devastatingly gorgeous, wickedly charming Talia Avramov?
Genres: fantasy, romance

Just a few bits I loved from "No Rings Attached"
I may like Lia and Grace even more than Rosie and Jane. It's a tough call though.

Before I started reading books again the majority of my reading was SeamWuren fics, so they can stay here. Also because I see them I'm Chemistry as I said before.
There's also no straight explanation for how they look at each other I mean come on!
