I leave you a letter, sealed in wax, a trace of perfume. Keep this. It's yours. Destroy it on your own, in your own way, if you want. I won't mind. This letter is a knife at my neck if cutting's what you want. I try not to think of you the same way twice. I change your shape in my thoughts. It's amazing how much blue there is in the world, if you look. See? I pour you into things. So in this letter I am yours. Not Garden's, not your mission's, but yours, alone.

Ron’s protectiveness was unstoppable, always had been, and Harry, overall, loved that about him.
He just couldn’t explain to Ron all of the little things about Draco that made him want to sigh while he was sure little hearts exploded over his eyes.
The way he would concentrate on Harry when it was just the two of them as if nothing else existed. The look where he smiled so unguardedly, so differently than the one he gave to the rest of the world. The moments where he held onto Harry, clutching even as he fell asleep.
The moments that Harry was sure Draco wasn’t truly able to let himself accept – yet. Like the way Draco had kissed the breath from him last week when he’d returned to London and stroked his cheek so tenderly. How he’d stayed in bed five minutes later than his alarm – which he knew by now never happened – and when he had gotten up, he’d murmured to Harry that he could stay if he wanted, despite the fact that Draco had to go to work.
No, Draco wasn’t professing feelings, but . . . it was something. Something different than what it had been at first. And he was patient, very much willing to let Draco come to terms with these things on his own time.

SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY.
“She lays her hand along my jaw and kisses me like she means it, and I am breathless and weightless and dizzy at the very fact of her. Lips and tongue and teeth, her hair and her skin and her perfume, and more than anything, her very essence, her fire and her flaws and that steely determination to be better, to always be better.”

Okay, I picked up this book on a whim while visiting my sister in NYC, and I just finished and now I’m sad and empty. But Y’ALL NEED TO READ THIS ASAP. I am thriving. This is the slow-burn, spicy, mysterious time travel big city sapphic love story you’ve always wanted to read. Pluses: queer fat girl, butch Asian, and trans rep 😍 now someone turn this into a movie!
Please come scream about this with me, I am OBSESSED.

If y’all are looking for a sapphic read I highly suggest The Coldest Touch by Isabel Sterling. It has a lesbian vampire and girl with a blossoming power where if she touches someone she can see their death. Claire (the vampire) is sent to teach Elise (the Death Oracle) about her new powers. The entire plot line is super interesting AND gives us wlw. There’s also a non-binary character! It also ends happy which I know is a small spoiler but it’s so hard to find sapphic content with a good ending so I feel like it needs to be mentioned !! The author also said she hasn’t started working on a sequel but she has ideas for one. I was able to find my copy at B&N but you can also get it online :) If you enjoyed First Kill I have no doubts you’ll love this book!!!

BETA READER SEARCH — The Quiet Death of Wild Flowers
My first draft is complete, and (almost) revised, so I’m looking for beta readers to give me feedback and help me turn this story into the best version it can be! 🖤
The book is approximately 100k words long, and you’d have about two months to read it (though that’s not a hard deadline or anything). The book is divided in three parts, and you’d have to answer some feedback questions after reading each of them.
In this book, you’ll find…
- A fantasy world inspired by the aftermath of the French revolution (1800s) - Magic arts and older mythical forces - A sapphic ‘opposites attract’ romance  - The yearning for connection of two lonely, touch-starved characters - Memories of past lives resurfacing  - Ideological debates - A strange plague  - A found family of anarchist revolutionaries - A genderfluid protagonist - One very stupid bird
THE STORY:
Leto was born cursed; whatever she touches, dies. As a child, the Empress of Riparia tried to groom her into a perfect weapon, but Leto abhorred the crimes she was forced to commit. She ran, and has been hiding as a masked priestess of the Order of Death ever since. To keep her freedom, she must stay hidden, unnoticed, and never make any waves. Her world is turned upside down when she meets Seph, an anarchist revolutionary with fearless eyes, who touches her — and does not die. Instead, the two of them are struck with a strange vision, one that almost looks like a memory. Dazed and confused, Leto runs away, but in an uncharacteristic moment of impulsiveness, chooses to free Seph from the prison where she met her. The consequences of that action are quick to follow, with Imperial soldiers coming at Leto’s door, and the Empress’s new favourite underling uncovering her identity. Leto has nowhere to go but with Seph and the revolution. There, she must question the certitudes of her safely contained life, and ask herself whether there is any point in fighting for something more in a hopeless world. And as the attraction between the two deepens and becomes more complicated, Seph will have to reckon with emotions she thought she was no longer capable of feeling, and an unwanted yearning for the kind of life she renounced long ago.
Interested? The link for signing up is [HERE] ! 😊 And if you’re not or you simply don’t have the time, reblogging this post would be super helpful ❤️
Have a great day!

The hare has hopped to Poland! Thank you so much @sapphicunderground! What a beautiful gift for the beginning of August!

I absolutely love all the books, although I have to admit the most anticipated by me was "Dangerous Game." That's why I decided to start with it.
A few thoughts on some poems:
Hare Season
This one made me angry. The reality makes me angry. In today's world, the value of human beings is measured by their social status (aka the amount of money) and not by their heart and soul. Often making us think about ourselves as less. Long live capitalism.
Esther and Joan
I first read this piece on Instagram, and it amazed me how seamlessly and comprehensively it captures the relationship of the "The Bell Jar" characters in just a few lines. This is absolutely one of my favourite poems.
Fun fact: Tessa used cards 2 and 7 as a background for this poem, and I was 27 when I read it for the first time (I like little coincidences). Technically I still am 27, but only until Pluto Demoted Day (aka nothing to celebrate).
The Auckland Rape
Very strong and very accurate. All of the poems regarding sexual violence (and violence against women in general) are powerful, especially for me as Polish because of the current socio-political environment in Poland under the leadership of Law(lessness) and (in)Justice. Even with my Stoic nature, I'm unable to preserve calm.
***
I absolutely adore every single one of the poems in Dangerous Game, not only those mentioned above. It's even better and more intimate than I expected. Among my favourites are: Jaqueline, Lola, Mango, All In, We Were Only Talking, The Everlasting Sleep, The Chessboard, Someone Like You, and Blood Stains. And the cover is just marvellous.

Soon I'll start reading the other books!
It's a pleasure to support such a talented woman!
