Ya know what I figured out why Reset hits so much for me and it's because it's so much like the Soap Operas and Telenovelas I use to watch with my Grandma in the late 90s early 2000s. The crazy storyline, the over the top acting, the villians who are just the right amount of extra. All that's missing is an evil twin, to be honest.

Haven't been active here for a long time. Updates - I moved abroad to study sometime in the middle of last year, made new friends, new experiences, learnt how much I like art and doodling and painting and how it helped me feel better when I realized science wasn't my thing in the middle of my Master's degree. I made this recently cause it made me feel better :).

I hope everyone is doing alright. I know this year has been tough for all of us, I will not guarantee that everything will be alright but I hope everything gets better. I would like to say something that I feel is very important to anyone reading this including myself.

Do not forget that you live for yourself (as well). I spent a vast majority of my life forcing myself (sometimes even without any pressure from others) to make others feel happy or better whilst I was feeling miserable. I don't know why I did/do this but it wasn't the right thing.

Your choice Your responsibility. You choose what you want to do. I remember writing this to someone close ' I would much rather get hurt by doing something I choose to do and even learn from it than do something that others want me to and thrive in it'.

If you think you need help, get help. Its not wrong, its not bad, its not a mistake. Getting help for mental health is just as or even more important (accordingly) as getting help for physical injuries or other body ailments.

He’s Coming to Me is a comedy…unless you think about Thun’s refusal to give up on the people who are supposed to be lost…his refusal to give up on those who want to give up on themselves…unless you think about the second-life Med gets to live…how genuinely happy Thun and he are to have each other despite the limits to their intimacy, despite those who can’t see their love, despite the knowledge that some day it will end…about how they love each other perhaps more deeply because they both recognize how preciously brief anyone’s life on earth is before they’re reborn and the search for those small moments of love happen again

The people around me, who are friends, they are kinda scary. Not in the conventionally 'scary' way but like, no I'm wrong, I am scared of them. I'm not good at interpersonal relationships. When I hear them talking shit about other people/friends in front of me (and like if this other person bothers them so much why not confront them), I'm scared they'd do the same for me. They are all good people, amazing people really but this is the first time I'm actually having quite deep relationships with people, especially whilst living with them. I know they are not wrong and are just regular human beings but I'm scared and I feel like a mistake. I feel like they put up with me. I don't want to be a burden.
