After watching the Fear Street Trilogy, I'm realizing there were so many hints of who the true bad guy is and it makes so much sense looking back because I noticed some things that didn't make sense when the "rules" of the "witch's curse" was made. Spoilers, by the way. Here's some of the hints:

1. The idea that Sam was targeted by Sarah Fier because she disturbed her remains. But Ryan Torres didn't disturb her remains. Tommy Slater didn't. None of the other people that were cursed had disturbed her remains. Or had their blood on her bones.

2. Nick Goode's surname is a reference to a real life surname of someone who was accused of witchcraft. Sarah Good was a real life woman who was executed for witchcraft in the Salem witch trials. The name Goode, in retrospect, is a subtle way to make you think of the Salem witch trials in which those accused were innocent.

3. Solomon is not only a biblical name but, it's the name associated with a book called The Lesser Key of Solomon, which is a book about demonology. Additionally the Witch's Mark looks similar to some symbols used in the book. I'll include some screen caps.

4. Nick shot Ryan Torres in the first movie. In police protocol, you're not supposed to shoot someone even if they're armed. Shooting someone is typically the last resort. This could be something writers overlooked for convenience or it could've been a hint that Nick did so on purpose because he knew Ryan wouldn't survive because he had already sacrificed him. Ryan at that point wasn't a person anymore.

5. Nick talks about how he doesn't want to follow in his father's footsteps despite the fact his father had a very successful career and from what we initially thought a happy life. We know now, it's not that Nick didn't want to be an officer, it's that Nick likely didn't want to continue the curse but, the Devil doesn't bargain. He can't just back out without consequences and those consequences would be terrifying to a child - which was what he was.

6. The fact Ziggy survived. This should've been a dead giveaway, I fear. And the difference between Ziggy and Sam after they came back from the dead. Sam became cursed yet, Ziggy was fine?? This should've given it away! I don't know how I missed this!

Even the most basic needs are no longer within reach. We survive on so little, trying to hold on despite the pain 😔.

My home is no longer the same 🏠❌, our lives have changed, and safety has vanished. My children no longer know peaceful sleep or full meals 🛏️🍽️. Every day brings a new danger, and every night we pray just to survive one more day 🙏.

People calling Joe calculating and Love impulsive in the same breath pisses me the fuck off. Like, no they're both fucking impulsive. We're not going to act like Joe is some calculated mastermind. He's NOT! We see him be impulsive without even thinking about the consequences of his actions the entire show! Caging the wrong fucking twin is proof of this! The "calculated mastermind" didn't even take a second to make sure he caged the correct fucking twin!

He cheats haphazardly with very little caution and the only reason he didn't go to jail sooner was KATE! Joe and Love are both people that act on impulse with very little thought about the consequences past satisfying their own blood lust. This is a real life issue, too! Murderers -- especially the men that murder that people sexualize and romanticize always portrayed as "calculated masterminds", "geniuses", etc. No! All in all most violent criminals are NOT geniuses or calculated masterminds, they are people who happen to have poor impulse control and manipulative tendencies.

Also, don't even say, "to manipulate someone you have to be smart". I know Joe isn't dumb but comparing him to Love and claiming he's more calculated is false. You can be smart and have manipulative tendencies while also not being calculated. Just like Love was because let's not forget she was also really manipulative. This doesn't have to do with either character being calculated but, moreso to do with life experience.

My Journey to Escape the War in Gaza

My name is Abdelmajed. I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.

The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.

Basic needs have become luxuries. Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.

I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.

Escape from Gaza is my only hope, but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.

I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
