My baby passed away, and I'm struggling to pay the bill and get her ashes!!

Wednesday, November 30th: Hi everyone, I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman, who is in desperate need of help, as my 14-year-old dog passed away and I need help to pay her vet bill and get her ashes.

Last Wednesday was the worst day of my life, as what I thought was a minor health issue with my dog Luna; her not eating, being lethargic and breathing heavily, turned out to be a large tumour in her stomach that had ruptured, which caused internal bleeding and infection. I then had to decide between a risky surgery with a low success rate or putting her to sleep. After discussing with the veterinarian, we decided that the best option was to end her suffering and have her euthanized.

I was with her until the end as she went to sleep, and it has been a harrowing week for me. My life feels empty without her, and I'm struggling now more than ever. One of the many struggles I have, is her vet bill, as I now owe £556.31 to the veterinary clinic & PCS (Pet Cremation Services) for Luna's treatment and ashes. However, due to being disabled and on welfare benefits that are awaiting mental/physical health assessments, it hasn't been easy for me to pay this bill.

I don't receive my welfare benefit of £317 until later today, however, it won't be enough to cover my rent, utilities and this bill, so I'm really in desperate need, and have no one else to turn to.

If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you!! ❤
