Hello! I was bored and thinking, roommate dmc Vergil is plaguing my mind yet again! Now to me there’s nothing hotter than a man who looks like he just stepped out of a cologne add shaving. So I guess enjoy this tiny drable. Also I’m not familiar with second person pov, I usually write in third person. Anyway! Thats it from me!

You rubbed the sleep from your eyes, the chill of early morning biting at your skin the second you kicked the sheets away.

Still half-asleep, you grabbed your face wash off the nightstand, Dante and Nico had a terrible habit of stealing your stuff, so now everything lived in your room like hostages.

The hallway felt colder under your bare feet as you padded toward the bathroom, slow and sluggish, brain not even halfway awake.

The door was ajar, you pushed it open a little further, rubbing your eyes once more and froze…

“I won’t take long.”

His voice was low, quiet, softer than you were used to.

Your gaze dragged upward, slowly, like you didn’t actually mean to look, but your eyes had involuntary done so anyway.

Bare feet, towel slung low at his hips, body built like someone had carved it, water droplets sliding down the line of his chest, trailing over defined muscle.

God. How was he built like that?

Finally your eyes reached his face. Silver hair slicked back, still damp, a few rebellious strands falling forward. Those steel eyes were calmer here, softer somehow, as his hand moved the razor across his jaw in smooth, practiced strokes.

Your breath hitched for a moment.

Don’t stare. Don’t stare!

Your back hit the wooden doorframe with a soft thud.

“Oh.. uhh, sorry, didn’t know you were in here.”Your voice sounded smaller than you meant it to, trailing as he rinsed the razor and repeated the motion, completely unfazed.

He hummed low in acknowledgment.

“I just wanted to…” You trailed off, holding the face wash up like proof you had a reason to be there.

“Give me a minute,” he said casually, still focused on his shave.

You stole a glance. Then another.

Okay, maybe more than another.

Who looks like that first thing in the morning?!

“All done” he said at last, stepping aside, making space for you, you didn’t reply, even trying to find words was… useless.

And just like that, he was gone , the door swinging shut behind him like he’d never been there at all.

But the image of him was burned behind your eyes.

You exhaled through your nose, turned the faucet on, splashing your face with water so cold it stung, like it might rinse away what you’d just seen, or rinse away the thoughts.

Yeah. That didn’t help.

Not even a little.

You gripped the edges of the sink, staring at your reflection, water dripping from your chin.

“Damn him” you muttered under your breath.

“Damn him and his stupid Sparda genes.”

Vergil Sparda Headcannons

Ok so idk what to call this, I was just thinking and well here is this! Vergil sparda back from the underworld, this is what I think he’d be like :) if you like this here’s my fic on ao3

Oh Vergil, the man who quietly sees every single move you make in his peripheral vision.

The man who wouldnt be caught dead admitting he has any short of feelings for you, but his younger twin can see right through him.

Vergil, the man who heard about one of your niche interests once and cataloged it in his head.

What do you like? Cathedrals? He will take you to an abandoned one and frame it as a mission, then play tour guide when you comment on the absence of any demonic presence.

Vergil, the man who does the dishes in the dead of night so your mug is ready to go for your morning coffee, of course he’ll never tell, and if anyone asks he either won’t reply or chock it up on being tidy.

Vergil the man who knows your coffee order by heart.

Vergil, the guy who spend all his life alone in search of power and now that his brother dragged him back from the underworld he cannot adjust for the life of him.

Vergil, the man who only wanted to be loved but has deemed himself unworthy of affection, it’s not that he doesn’t hold these types of feelings he just doesn’t know what to do with them. He shouldn’t feel this way, it’s not fair to you.

He wouldn’t try to actively drive you away, he would just be cold and inexpressive. Thats his nature after all, or what he honed himself to become.

Vergil the man that would never say how jealous he got when he’d see Dante shamelessly flirting with you. No he isn’t jealous, he just finds his brother irritating, yeah thats it. But when Dante throws an arm around you laughing casually his jaw clicks his brows furrow and his hands? He finds himself very willing to relive the past, Dante has survived countless stabbings… what’s another one?

Vergil, the half demon who paces around in his room frustrated by how you plague his thoughts, annoyed even.

Vergil, the one who yearns to be like you, he sees how easy you talk with everyone, maybe if things were different he’d be like that too, but they aren’t and they will never be.

Vergil and his hyper fixation on a mortal that stared at the abyss with him. The abyss he stared at? Hell. No literally. The abyss you stared at? Him.

Vergil, who quietly writes poetry about you late at night.

Vergil who protects you at missions like it’s second nature.

Vergil, whose hands are surprisingly a lot warmer than they look.

Vergil, who would meet your gaze and not break eye contact if you were to challenge him.

Vergil, who would walk around shirtless in dmc and when you’d throw a T-shirt at him and yell to put some damn clothes on would catch it with one hand, look down at it, then up at you confused, the he’d tell you it’s hot outside. (Respectfully sir it is hot inside too now.)

Vergil, who would get you little trinkets from his “expeditions”. Nothing too extravagant, a stone he liked perhaps, but he always brought something.

Vergil, who would fix your weapons when they needed maintenance, never admired to it, you’d just find them in perfect condition.

Vergil, who would absolutely leave a new pair of gloves on your pillow if the ones you have tore.

Vergil, who could love you from afar from years never wanting anything back.

Vergil who would almost rip his brother apart if you got hurt during a mission he wasn’t a part of.

Dealing with a writers block sucks so bad, cause I know what happens in the plot but the little connective scenes that make everything cohesive? Those make me want to pull my hair out, and damn none of it feels right! Or it does and I’m just not seeing it. :/

Anyway, while I deal with that here’s my updated mental harem (characters that take way too much head space, should be paying me rent but oh well) - and I’m ranking them cause I can! Ya know what? I’ll add a song I associate with each of them too! (ALSO ADULT LANGUAGE AND SMEXUAL THEMES, MINORS GTFO) also this isn’t proofread and I’m not wearing my glasses either so if anything is off… well :/

At number 7. Yami sukehiro! Oh my…. I remember watching black clover for the first time and I legit was that meme “blah blah blah proper name, place name, backstory stuff”, yeah that one… AND HES VOICED MY MY FAVOURITE VA?! AND HES HUGE AND BUFF?!? GODDAMN! I get it Charlotte, I too I’m smitten by this himbo!

8/10 only because black clover needs to come back so I can obsess again!

At number 6 we’ve got Clive Rosfield! Woooow, now, do I love this man? Yes! Am I attracted to him? Yes! But I’m not thirsty, (yes his shirtless when I play him in tekken but thats besides the point!) ff16 is probably my favourite game like ever because of how amazing of an mc he is and yes Jill is our wife. What would Clive do? I ask myself when I’m in a difficult situation. Clive is what every man should STRIVE TO BE, the standard for sure and thats why I love him!

As a character he’s definitely a ten but he gets an 8,5/10 cause obviously I’m not that healthy :/

At number 5 we have good old sephiroth. I was obsessed for months! Watched edits at work to make my day, replayed ffvii both remake and rebirth to no end and I convinced myself he would’ve turned out fine if it weren’t for hojo. Also got lot more theories about him, I love this unhinged mamas boy.

9/10 one of my longest hyper fixations loved every second of it!

Number 4 rightfully goes to sukuna! I was obsessed with this man since I first layed eyes on him, college was fun cause I would just drink at home and kick my feet at fanart of him, brainrotted so bad I imagined him as a tattoo artist!!

9,5 just because I was a traitor in the end!

Number 3 goes to satoru gojo,(told you I’m a traitor) the crush out I experienced two years ago?!? (Was it two years ago? I have no actual sense of time)I was crying like a baby and honestly still not over it, I love that man!!!! Like too much, if you ask me hes my buddy and we gossip on the phone every week. My favourite fic ever is a gojo fic and it altered my brain chemistry!!! Funny thing is I didn’t get it at first, didnt get the hype at all actually but I was a manga reader and idk what happened but it was like a switch flipped and suddenly I did get it.

9,8/10 I still save edits of him!

Number 2 goes to Enjin from gachiakuta. Yes I started reading the manga. You can’t show me a man with tattoos and a smoking habit and expect me not to fall head first?! I too have plenty of tattoos, The gender envy I get?!? It’s seriously no joke HES so damn cool :0 also my current hyper fixation. Tall blonde and tatted and his expressions? Man’s funny as fuck! TAKE ME ALREADY HES GOT ME FERAL

9,9/10 I’m in limerance or whatever thats called.

Number 1 goes to my man, Vergil sparda. GOD DAMN! I gotta say 10 year old me had taste! Then dmc5 came out and ahh… My man! I recently played the games again and I’m so in love. Also currently writing for him, so you know I’ve got it bad! Criminally misscharacterised too. I know this fucker loves deeply, so do I come here pls. The amount of content ive consumed on him is probably illegal in some countries I’m in so deep, I can talk about him for hours and hours and never get tired! My family knows about Vergil my coworkers know about Vergil and when that Netflix anime came out I was yelling at 3am when he came on screen and I nearly accused every other male character of being him. Is it dmc 3 Vergil? Dmc5 Vergil or nelo Angelo? I do not give a flying fuck cause I love every version I ever layed eyes on! I’ve got so many ideas for this man, and quite honestly he’s an insanely written character!

11/10 I JUST KNOW HES A YEARNER TOO AND GOD DAMN PLS VERGIL GIVE ME ONE CHANCE!

Thanks! Honestly I come back to read it myself every once in a while (and cringe at my typos) :,) so no worries there. I remember I cried when I first published it and people liked it I couldn’t really believe how positive the feedback is and it still brings a smile to my face!

Ok so long time no see, actually it’s been years!

Time flies and I finally have free time and I guess enough imagination to write again. I used to be pretty active in the Jjk fandom and I haven’t really posted on other fandoms here but oh well.

Anyway, I’m working on a new fanfic.

It’s actually a vergil one, I have loved this man since I was a kid so I’m right back in. Originally I had no plans publishing it, cause it was just a shameless self insert, you know they type you think before you sleep and such, had an oc and all but I digress. I’m working on making it so more people can read it so, reader pairing you could say. (TRIGGER WARNING UNDER DISCUSSION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND DEPRESSION)

I struggle with my mental health a lot and the personality for the “character” or rather reader I’m creating reflects that quite a bit. What I mean is that it’s not really generic (ok it might be idk I’m not that special or that talented) I have no idea what I’m doing and where I’m going in life and honestly some days are better than others, and life is not always sunshine and rainbows, that being said I’m using writing as a form of self expression but of course I want people to like it, now I know it’s not for the majority of readers out there, but I feel like if just one person can read it and it resonates with them thats good enough for me, so yeah. I don’t talk about my mental health in my waking life at all, and I want other people to know that they’re not alone and even if you think that your struggles are small compared to what other people are going through, your worries and struggles are valid.

Also it touches a lot on how I personally view love as an emotion, as a choice and what I hope to feel sometime in my lifetime, the slowest of burns ever!

I have the reader have a smoking habit idk it seems fitting for the universe I try to keep the look generic but I didn’t take out the tattoos cause they seem fitting? Basically the reader is a very untrusting person, with a lot of quiet guild. Idk it felt natural in the context of what I think Vergil could fall in love under, and it’s slow, steady.

Anyway I forgot half the reasons why I’m making that post!

I guess I’m sorta worried on how it will read if I make my oc much less of an oc? Anyway I’m actually very proud of how it’s going, comparing my writing from years ago tho what I’ve written now I can see how far along I’ve come! (Do I still think what I write is stupid? Yes! But I feel like that’s a universal experience)

I honestly struggle with finding good Vergil/reader fics and thats one of the main reasons I wanted to publish it.

Im also thinking of giving the reader a nickname to go by so I can avoid y/n, not completely but enough. Like how in “missed connection” Gojo called the reader who was a secretary “Friday”? Honestly that’s probably my favourite fix of all time and I find that type of writing SO DAMN SMART! (If you haven’t read that give it a shot it’s beautiful!)

Anyway I’m mostly done with it I’ll figure something out! I’ll probably put it on ao3 or something.
