Cocas are a snack or dessert that are eaten across Catalonia and Andorra. They can come in sweet or savoury varieties. One of the most traditional is the sweet kind, eaten on special occasions such as the Nit de Sant Joan festival on June 23. It consists of a flat oval sweet bread topped with candied dried fruits and almonds. Some versions also contain stripes of a creamy custard. src.: https://theculturetrip.com/europe/andorra/articles/the-10-most-traditional-dishes-from-andorra/ photo ref.: Espencat

>side note: me being robot-identified does in no way mean that I've immediately changed my mind on this email thing, or even Palestine at all. I still stand with Palestine and Ukraine, regardless of whatever my chassis looks like or whatever OS I'm running. and I'm still gonna send Microsoft that email. I'll probably get started on a first draft on Thursday of this week.
>and... I'm still gonna make art, because I love doing so and processing the messages that appear in it. just know that I'm committed to making sure that every line that I draw is mine.

an email I need to send
>scarecrow here. again, I apologize for the long post, but I need to address something important relating to the genocide in Gaza and Palestine in general.
>(content warning: I'm going to go in-depth about this whole genocide that's been going on in Gaza, particularly around Microsoft's involvement, which may be upsetting. reader discretion is advised.)
>as a supporter of Palestine, I came across this news article from the BDS movement: https://bdsmovement.net/news/boycott-microsofts-xbox.
>as you all may very well know, Microsoft is... at this point notorious for being the most complicit that complicit can be in this ongoing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians. the reason it's so complicit in this genocide is that it provides Israel with Azure Cloud and its AI services, which Israel uses to accelerate this whole genocide, and has become deeply intertwined with the Israeli government's operations.
>the link at the start of this post calls for a boycott of its gaming service, Xbox, and Microsoft Gaming in general, because of this. and I mean, one can see why, as that would be the biggest point to pressure Microsoft to get the company to divest. however, I'm planning to take a different approach to this, as I'm not sure why they're asking to boycott games, specifically Minecraft. Minecraft is a good game that means well for its people and the communities it helps build, and I don't believe Mojang did much wrong with their franchise, and I'm not sure they knew before reading this the ethical dillema the franchise has found itself in. so I doubt that cutting off such a great game will do much good.
>however, what I am willing to do is directly email Microsoft. I don't believe that their strong connections to the genocidal force of Israel are true to the company's values. this company is at a historic intersection between opportunity and responsibility, and it values its mission to create a future that benefits everyone, not just most. suffice it to say, Israel's actions run contrary to Microsoft's responsibilities to make sure everyone gets a bright future, not just some or even most.
>until then, I'll be tip-tapping away at that keyboard and continuing to push for freedom.
>sincerely, scarecrow

Emergency we need your help 🇵🇸🫂
Please, read my words with your heart...🥹
I am a mother of a small child, and my husband suffers from the effects of a broken leg and cannot move . We live in an area that has become very unsafe, and the evacuation site is only a few meters away ... but we have no way out.
The situation is rapidly getting worse, time is running out.
Please, we need urgent help to be able to move to a safe area.
All I want is safety for my baby and my sick husband.
I have no one but you... Your donation could save our lives.
And if you can't donate, just share my message—maybe it reaches a heart that can help us.
We need to raise 270 dollars because we are facing an exodus, we don't know where
Be a reason to help us and save my baby and donate even a little 20 dollars to us from everyone who feels our condition and what we are suffering in this war and puts himself for one second in our place

Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the
list is ( #289 )✅️

btw I did click the "I'll reblog" button in case y'all (including the person who originally posted this) are wondering

We’re still starving… Please don’t look away.
This is not just a photo. This is Gaza. This is our reality.
The girl in this image is one of thousands of children in Gaza suffering from severe malnutrition. Her fragile body is a silent scream — a reflection of the hunger, fear, and pain that haunt every corner of our lives.
She could be my daughter. She could be yours.
My name is Fayez, a father of three beautiful children. I live in Gaza, under the unrelenting siege and devastation of war.
Every day, we wake up not knowing if we’ll have food — not even bread or clean water.
The fear of bombs has been replaced by a greater fear: starvation.
I am not afraid to die from the airstrikes anymore. But I am terrified to watch my children die slowly from hunger. To hear them cry at night from empty stomachs, and have nothing to give them — that is a pain no parent should ever bear.
Please, I am begging you — if you are reading this, help me feed my children. Help save their lives. Any donation, no matter how small, can mean a meal, a lifeline, a moment of hope.
Please Donate now:👇👇 👇
💔 Don’t look away. Help us survive.

My husband has become a prisoner of the Israeli occupation😭😭
After we were besieged in Rafah for more than four days, the tent was demolished over my heads, my children, and my husband, and we were able to miraculously escape. For those whose story of escape was not complete, because they were able to capture my husband and he is now their prisoner after he was injured in his feet from the bombing. My child was also exposed to danger and underwent a difficult surgical operation that failed. My family is now without a father, without a breadwinner for us, in light of this war and this catastrophic famine. I cannot provide food and drink for my children, nor can I provide treatment for my sick child. Please help us by donating to save us from danger.

Please donate now
I want to thank every person with a humane heart who helped me and my children. I hope you continue to donate to my family.

Rebuilding What Was Erased – A Message from Abedmajed in Gaza
My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.
In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.
The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

Among those killed were: 🕊️ My mother 🕊️ My sister 🕊️ My older brother His wife and their three daughters 🕊️ My uncle, his wife, and all their sons and grandchildren
We were left with nothing but rubble and grief. Yet somehow, my brother and I survived. And now, we carry the responsibility of rebuilding what was taken — not just for ourselves, but for our father, our surviving siblings, and the memory of those we lost.
💔 Why We’re Fundraising
This campaign is not just about survival. It’s about rebuilding a future — A family home, a shared life, a place where our father can rest safely, Where the next generation of our family can grow up knowing peace instead of trauma.
💬 The funds raised will help us:
🏗️ Rebuild our family home — which was completely destroyed 🛠️ Provide basic support for our father and siblings 🏡 Create safe, livable conditions for a family shattered by loss
🔒 How the Funds Are Managed
Due to the collapse of Gaza’s financial system, all donations are processed through my brother, who has a U.S. registered Stripe account. Funds are securely transferred to Gaza and distributed in cash here on the ground. We are transparent and ready to provide proof of every step.
🌱 Why Your Support Matters
We are not asking for charity. We’re asking for a chance to stand again, To rebuild something we can pass on to the children who survived.
Vetted By @gazavetters No:537
Your support gives us the strength not just to remember the ones we lost — but to honor them by continuing.
💬 If you can’t donate, a reblog means the world. 🕊️ From Gaza, with hope and dignity — thank you.

just putting it out there: none of my artworks were generated using AI. although I find the subject to be... a bit fascinating, I'll admit..., I didn't ask an AI model to create my art for me. I'd be happy to share what I've been using to make my artwork instead, though! and here's what I use for art:
a Wacom Intuos drawing tablet (but now I've started using a Wacom One, which I find to be much easier to work with)
Krita (you'll typically see most of my art made using that)
Blender (I've been getting into 3D stuff lately, and it also works well with my new Wacom One!... sorta)
pen and paper (I do sometimes craft traditional art, but I probably won't post it here)

🌿 My Name is Rola, and This is My Story 🌿
I never thought I would be writing this. I never thought I would be begging for help just to keep my children warm, just to feed them one more meal. But here I am, reaching out to you, because I have no other choice.
My name is Rola. I am a mother of two beautiful children, and before October 7th, we had a life filled with love and laughter. We had a home. My children had their own room, filled with their toys and drawings. We would sit together on our balcony, drinking coffee in the early morning light. We had dreams, just like any other family.
But in an instant, it was all gone.

A missile struck. The earth shook beneath us. The air filled with dust and fire. My husband and son ran, stumbling over each other in terror. I stood frozen, the ringing in my ears drowning out my own screams. Our home was shattered—windows blown out, doors ripped from their hinges. And when I looked outside, our neighbor’s house, a place that once echoed with children's laughter, was nothing but rubble and ash.
That was just the beginning.
The bombs never stopped. Every night, I held my children close as the sky rained fire. The sound of explosions mixed with the cries of mothers searching for their babies in the darkness. I covered my children, whispering words of comfort, but how do you comfort a child who is terrified of dying in their sleep?
We had to leave. We walked away from everything—our home, our memories, the warmth of our life before. My children left behind their favorite toys, their books, their safe space. Now, we have nothing.

No home.
No food.
No clean water.
No way out.
I went to buy sugar the other day. It cost $20 for just a kilo. Food is disappearing, and the little that remains is impossible to afford. Every day, I fight to find just enough to keep my children alive.
I am exhausted. I am scared. I need your help.
I never imagined I would have to beg for my family’s survival. But today, I am.
Please, if you are reading this, help us. Help me save my children. Help us find shelter, food, a way to rebuild even a small piece of the life we lost. If we ever have the chance to leave, we need support. If we are forced to stay, we need a home again.
Every donation matters. Every share helps. Every voice that speaks for us keeps hope alive.
💚 Please donate if you can. Share our story. Help us survive. 💚
