Thinking about how we are more actively antagonistic voyeurs in The Magnus Protocol. In the past usually a scene would end with someone noticing a tape and (at least attempting) to turn it off. We would hear the frustration with our presence and feel less applicable for the blame, even sympathizing with them, because we didn’t know that it was wrong or invasive. At least in the beginning.

Now? Full scenes will happen and the tapes are *actively* hidden. And more so, never found. We know what our presence means for them, we know what awaits them (if only vaguely). And yet, when we listen in Alice’s purse, tucked away in the dark with no hint of our presence, when hearing her move it or look inside, there is an anxiety. A fear that you not only will be found, but that you will be forced to exit before you are satisfied. That you will not be able to watch. No longer are we oblivious to the horror that we foretell and the morality of our gaze, and despite that, we root for the tape records and hope to know as much as possible through whatever means.

We are not ideologically on the characters sides anymore, but from time and experience, are detached enough from their comfort and hooked enough on their possible amusement to delve into the role of true antagonists. If only it will give us something more to see.

Another thing about the Titan that I enjoyed was how he's so fundamentally different from Belos's christian idea of god. She's bigender. I was thinking about writing a kimi ni todoke inspired klance au. With these as the cast:

Sawako Kuronuma - Keith Kogane (Shiro is still his brother)

- But Keith will be known for being more scary angry gloomy than sad scary gloomy like Kuronuma is.

- Keith would have had lost both his parents a year prior. Thus was adopted by Shiro and Adam because Keith's parents were family friends.

- Keith moves in with Shiro and his husband Adam for high school

- Keith and Shiro's parents are either traveling the world or living elsewhere, i have yet to decide. Is this even important lol.

Shouta Kazehaya - Lance Mcclain (Hunk is still his bff)

- Lance will still be incredibly similar to Kazehaya but he is more competitive than Kazehaya.

- Lance still holds a rivalry with Keith but is nicer about it because he wantta to maintain his reputation as a good person. Eventually he'll learn from Pidge that Keith had lost both his parents a year ago. Which then makes him actually nicer to Keith without pretense.

Ayane Yano - Pidge

Chizuru Yoshida - Romelle

Ryu Sanada - Allura

Kazuichi Arai - Coran

Ume Kurumizawa - Lotor

Other than this, nothing has been fleshed out... And also i would love to ask for advice on what Keith's nickname should be? As the nickname "Sadako" is a big part of Kuronuma's story.
