aquarium date. my late valentines gift to him. got nose re-pierced, seconds done as well. he got a septum but he won’t see it for six months. chinese buffet. cheap and quiet. home now with music and games on my ipad. brownies in the oven.

Saint Valentines and employee bathroom

spent four hours making five. need two more. red or pink? my sweater is damp.? red. socks are slipping already. should only be here three, four hours. suspicious of ready set up. “where is she?”shoved in the back, standing for three hours before i noticed. just _________ sound. rushing and rushed and wait. “this is it?” back pain, feet hurting, nails keep chipping. candy from the bottom of my purse to pass the time. im glad i wore no make up. eleven o’clock. “one more.” agitated, nerves high, wanna cry. eleven thirty, done. i never _________. im sitting on the bench waiting. let some of the tears go honestly. car ride home is quiet. he understands. get settled and cry from exhaustion. should probably do this more often. iced coffee in the morning maybe.

10/27/24 julie & Frost Children at The Basement East

We had drove 8 hours just to see julie. Even though I had never listened to the band before this, I was still very excited. I just like live music. when frost children came out, my boyfriend and I were entranced. They are the 2010 hyper-pop that has been missing from my life. Then julie came out and I got the same feeling I got when I listened to Slowdive in concert. Both bands left me absolutely gagged. Went back to my airbnb that night and added their entire discography to my playlist.
