There is so much to unpack with it.

Kaveh tells us everyone ELSE thinks he lost his mind meaning he thinks it was entirely sane to go into debt to build someone else their own house

Kaveh knows this point of view is hard to understand wishes he could meet someone who understands

Kaveh knows he sacrificed everything but is clearly willing to do it again for his 'trade'

I wish Kaveh and Nahida had a chance to talk. Where she could show him she understands more than any living soul alive what he is talking about.

I also NEED a flashback from Alhaitham's point of view how desperately worried he's been all the time he's known Kaveh to see him work himself into a frenzy over something that will harm him and Kaveh Knows it so why won't he just quit any other human would. And Kaveh wants so badly for Alhaitham to understand he can't quit and that all of his life would have been worth it to make something by his own two hands and bring it into the world.

ok funny haha writing advice but like actually what the fuck is with this tomato it’s like so fucking red, and i think it was like a whole tomato that was bought and cut up at home and i know my nana didn’t fucking dye the tomato so like what’s with this little guy

random opinion I have.. when writing something, don’t be afraid to go on about a random little detail every so often. a cynical book reviewer might complain about you rambling on about how a tomato was abnormally red, but I think something like that is fully within human nature. we as people find things interesting all the time, and we like to tell people about them, even if they’re silly an unnecessary. I think a little acknowledgment of small things that catch your character’s eye are extremely important when it comes to forming a narrative.

i have this friend who i used to be close with, but we kinda had a falling out and then we made up, so we’re kinda awkward now and don’t talk much, but every so often i find something random that’s related to one of their special interests so every month i just send them a text like “this the kinda shit you like?” followed by the most random thing

this is the show im talking about btw, i’d recommend it even though i just spoiled the second season’s ending. it’s pretty good, has a nice amount of diversity and queer representation without making the gay characters entire personality “ooooh im a gay twink stereotype”, the writing is genuinely enjoyable and they don’t stray from macabre topics. it was a very fun watch, and if you know someone who prefers more age appropriate stuff, guess what? it’s rated Y-7, so it’s something you can let younger ones watch!

lowkey I bet the twist for tadc is gonna be like the hollow s2, where none of the main cast is real, and they’re all just AI replicas of people who work at the company managing the servers for the digital circus or whatever, and they were truly convinced they were the real versions trapped inside a game, but there is no “escape” because they’re actually just fakes, and the real versions are living their own lives, blissfully unaware of the extreme trauma that the scripters are inflicting on these replicas of themselves.
