Oh man, this is hard cause I haven't kept up with comics as much as I used to... but here's a list of comics I liked off the top of my head lol

I actually had to limit myself to only one Greg Rucka and one Charles Soule comic each, cause they've both written quite a few things that I've loved.

Top 5 worst vacations

oh my gosh, wait this is so funny! I'll be honest this was very hard for me, so some of these aren't that bad. But from least worst to most worst:

5. hmmmmmm. One time we missed a flight on christmas eve, so we didn't get in to our destination until much late. 4. Rented a house in Palm Springs with extended family and we had a rat that had eaten food and we had to coax out from inside the couch. 3. I tripped while pregnant with my daughter and fractured my ankle while visiting family. 2. Driving to Italy as a kid and getting rear ended so badly we had to turn around and go home. I STILL haven't been to Italy lol 1. ER on New Years Eve with my then 1 year old son who had croup. We were flying home the next morning and literally heard people counting down to midnight in the exam room lol.

Honestly, none of these things ruined the vacation... just moments that were "bad" but mostly they are funny or odd moments, especially in hindsight. Sorry they aren't very bad lol

And can I just say, "I can't have sex with the man I love because if I do my mind control powers will permanently take away his freewill" is such a stellar plotline. Like the TENSION between Richard and Kahlan is delicious and they drag it out for so fucking long lol

And I love that the books and show both make that as horrifying of a magic power as it is. It's played as an absolute curse for Kahlan, she fucking hates it... God I miss this show.

Ok. I'm 100% doing a rewatch now! Might do a book reread too at some point but... Gotta be in the right mood for that one. The books are WAY darker than the TV show. Like holy shit WAYYYYY darker. (And not always handled the best 😅)

Another just absolutely amazing thing about Legend of the Seeker/Sword of Truth... Terry Goodkind literally named the main villains for the first few books Darken and Panis.

What the actual fuck was he thinking??? I mean there is constant sexual violence in this books/show... So idk what I was expecting from him... But Panis? PANIS??? woof lol

legend of the seeker is the show ever I've been rewatching it w my family and decided to make that everyone's problem

That's amazing, I hope you're loving it!

It's so much fun! Imo it was the last really good pre- Game of Thrones fantasy show that really reveled in being a TV show with a TV budget and TV pacing. It didn't try to be prestige television, and honestly I miss that SO MUCH for Fantasy TV now.

I was a book fan before the show came out and most people who read the books hated the show, but I was one of the few in that tiny venn diagram crossover 😌

A cast full of Kiwi and Australian actors trying desperately to do American accents, despite the fact that it was filmed in New Zealand 😂

i need more people on tumblr to watch legend of the seeker. it had absolutely batshit pacing. hot women. hot men. charismatic villain. thinly veiled bdsm. it's so silly. every episode has a mini plot of its own. 20 episode seasons. wizards. on second thought the bdsm is not veiled at all. lots of forests. truly a delight to watch in the time of netflix 8 episode series it feels like a soothing balm on my brain. try it i promise it's great.
