I'm aware this is a 'complaining about someone complaining about someone else complaining' kind of post, but... whether or not the 'twink sauron' characterisation contradicts canon per se... is not really the point — there will be people annoyed at its prevalence simply because it has become the only one in the fandom at this point. And while — I don't know if that was the case that prompted the exchange, but — things like venting at artists in comments are uselessly antagonising — that does give them the right to complain in situations where complaining is appropriate.

Hopefully it's somewhat interesting!

I keep multiple sketchbooks for different purposes, so this one is the "people" themed one while most of my environment and objects are in other ones.

None of these are editited beyond making them clearer (contrast) and pasting them on a bigger page

It looks cool. Nürnberg has a well...past....very dark past. All of the skulls... That whole area where that arena is and also the festival grounds are for example for Rock Im Park (where they are going to play next year summer) well...just read Wikipedia.

I was in Twitter the other day and saw some people that were like: yeah, E*y is transphobic and Homophobic but let's not forget Ryan is etc etc.

And I seriously considered linking Jack's post but I don't want them getting harassed lol

The problem with those people is that, sadly, they don't know how to read.. reading comprehension= zero

UGGGHHH i hate people who do that. one has grown / learned / moved forward from his mistakes. the other promised an apology, gave absolutely nothing and then just doubled down. they are NOT THE SAME.

if you as a BIPOC still have issues with what ryan said / his apology, that is entirely your prerogative. nobody is allowed to police your feelings on the issue.

if you continuously bring up his past as a sort of GOTCHA moment to just whataboutism the whole situation for your own amusement, then i lose all respect for you.

if you're choosing to just continue to hate him, then don't be making it anyone else's problem and keep it to yourself. oh, and stop being a racist asshole to him.

Hi there Terror Fans I'm going to tell you a little personal horror story and how it relates to Fitzjames and scurvy in general!

Back when I was 18, fresh out of high school, I had a breast reduction surgery (long story, it was kind of botched, also I didn't know I was trans then). They gave me dissolvable stitches. Usually pretty fine for the circumstances, for an average person.

Only one problem! I had, unbeknownst to me, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome is a connective tissue disorder that comes from the body's inability to properly produce collagen. The hypermobility, the deterioration, the skin sensitivity, every little thing comes from a lack of collagen.

To put it plainly, my skin, especially deep tissue wounds, don't heal properly. I had a great aunt who had the same condition, who bled to death from a minor bullet wound simply because they could not close it.

Dissolvable stitches dissolve after a certain period of time, which for MOST people is when they are fully healed. I, however, was not most people.

After a good couple of weeks, I was changing my dressings. Everything was scabbed over and I thought things were going well...

Until I took one of the gauze pads off, and blood started pouring from me like a faucet.

The skin had separated, because the stitches had dissolved before I was fully healed. It happened multiple times over the course of several months.

I now have what looks like a bullet wound under my right breast. It was where three incisions met. And every time I think about Fitzjames, about his wounds that reopened, I get a little phantom pain. Idk if having a proper top surgery will take those scars away, but god DAMN it is something I think about constantly.

Anyway uhhh take your fucking vitamin C.
