⊹₊ ⋆ PRESS TOUR w Jesse Eisenberg !

warning/s: no one is aware of the relationship, set in the early 2010s, weird interviewer, castmates with zooey deschanel and andy samberg, reader was on smurfs

you were currently on your makeup chair in the room assigned by the movie's production managers. together in the room with you were your assistant, hair & makeup artists, and your castmate, zooey.

the two of you spoke to each other while getting your makeup done; catching up on life and talking about future projects.

"okayyy speaking off, are you and ya know...." zooey started off and wiggled her eyebrows which you already knew what she was pertaining to.

you smile softly, shaking your head a bit. "oh we're good! i haven't seen him today though but we were speaking on the phone earlier." you both chuckle.

after a few more minutes, the movie's public relations head knocked on the room's door and asked for you guys to come out already.

your makeup artist finished up with setting spray on your face and took a few photos of your look. you took a sip of your water as you waited for zooey to be done with her hair.

the two of you stepped out of the room and were led by the pr head's assistant to the interview room. as you entered, jesse and andy were already there, talking to each other.

"hey, there you guys are!" andy said as he waved for you guys to come over and smiled at you two.

the assistant let you two actresses go to them, holding the clipboard close to her chest as she went to the side to let the actors greet each other.

they get up to give you a hug but andy gets to you first while jesse with zooey.

"congrats on smurfs! my wife and i just watched it the other week and i immediately recognized your voice," he told you with a smile which you instantly thanked him for. the two of you spoke for a few more moments before you heard jesse cough from beside you two.

"alright enough with me now, go on to the other berg." andy teased and the four of you laughed.

your boyfriend was already smiling even before you looked at him. your two castmates gave you two space as you two spoke to each other.

his hands immediately found their way to your waist and pulled you into a hug, "you look so beautiful." he whispers into your ear as you hug him back.

"thanks, you look great too," you two pull away and smile at each other but he keeps a hand on your waist. "how's your day been?" you ask but before he can answer, the pr head came in the room.

"hey guys, most of the interviewers are here. i'll just brief you guys for a moment is that alright?" she asked the four of you and jesse's hand left your waist as soon as he saw the interviewer's crew come in the room.

"so, each interviewer will have 10-15 minutes to interview. after each one, you guys will have at least a 2 minute break or 5 if we can squeeze it in. as of now we have 10 interviewers in the waiting room. oh also just call us if you need snacks or anything." she continued and smiled at all of you.

her assistant handed four bottles of water for each actor. "for the seating arrangement, we can do jesse and andy together and zooey with y/n on the front row. we could change it up for each interview if you guys or the interview wants. that's all, goodluck guys."

as each interview went by, you could feel your energy wearing off. the two minutes were never enough but meeting each interviewer, and being able to have different yet unique questions about the movie made everything interesting each time.

"well, so i've seen a few videos of you y/n, and i heard you have a letterboxd account," the interviewer said which you nodded at. "i saw that you reviewed a few movies of your castmates,"

you chuckle a little as you moved to cross your legs, excitedly waiting for the woman to continue.

"my favorite one is of the social network where you said and i quote, how much do i have to pay the guy who plays mark to say all the lines and reenact all scenes while we watch this?"

the four of you laugh at your movie review but jesse tries to hide the slight blush on his cheeks.

"what was the story behind this?" the interviewer asks curiously with a smile on her face as she watched the laughter die down.

you look at your castmates and they signal for you to answer.

"okay so here's the thing, we actually watched at least one of our projects one night during our free day," you smile as you recalled the memory. "we chose to watch social network for jesse's and i absolutely adored it—" you looked up at jesse who was already smiling at you.

the look in your eyes changed as you remembered him taking you home that night and you guys sharing your first kiss.

"and we kept teasing him about the hoodie thing he does!" you finished up and andy laughs as he remembers.

"oh my god yes! i even went to set once in a gap hoodie and did the thing to annoy this dude and he just ignored it, " the actor says while nudging the latter's side.

jesse shook his head as he chuckled. you still tried to face your two castmates at the back, but your body could only turn facing your boyfriend.

"i uh... i didn't ignore it. i just try not to remember memories of me putting my hands in those pockets." he was looking at you as he spoke, a hand rubbing his neck then moved his gaze to the interviewer once he was done speaking.

the interviews went on, zooey and jesse switched seats after a while and there were lingering touches with each other as you often teased and playfully punched him during one interview that had a game.

zooey and andy noticed it but gave each other a knowing look with a small smile growing bigger as they watched the couple interact.

one of the reporters that came in had most of the questions for jesse and acted like the three of you weren't in the same room.

luckily, the curly-haired actor tried his best to include you and your castmates in the conversation. it even came to a point where the interviewer started to ask personal questions.

"so jesse, are you seeing anybody right now or..." the girl played with her hair as she asked.

you bit your tongue and kept your focus on your hands but everyone in the room was getting uncomfortable. jesse tried to laugh off the question before responding but andy beat him to it.

"i don't really think that's an appropriate question right now and who even cares if he's seeing anybody? he could be for all i know, jess is a great, awkward, jewish guy just like his character in this film so." he ended with a shrug then he slid his back on his chair with his arms crossed.

you smile up at your castmate and he raises his eyebrows up at you. your gaze falls back to your boyfriend who is playing with his fingers and biting his lip. you reach out to comfort him by placing your hand on his arm. he looks up at you and smiles shyly.

it's suddenly quiet in the room and the interviewer looks taken aback by andy's answer.

"your time's up, thanks for coming by." the pr head told the girl but she refused to leave as she still wasn't done with the interview.

when the crew and interviewer was finally out of the room, everyone let go of the breath they didn't know they were holding.

"oh thank god i hated that one." zooey was the first to speak up, closing her eyes for a moment and leaning back on her seat.

"i know, that girl was awful." said jesse who then reached to hold your hand.

you smile at the gesture and run your thumb over his. "are you okay though j? she was weirdly obsessed with you, i thought it was a joke at first." you leaned closer to him as you spoke.

"i thought it was a joke too, to be honest. i didn't really know what to do but thanks guys for like jumping in the conversation." he told the three of you with a small smile.

the pr head gave you guys a five minute break. zooey and andy went to get some snacks while you and jesse just stayed in the room.

"i'm so sleepy now," you said making a groggy noise which made him chuckle. "i am so hibernating after this and the dinner later."

there was a look in his eyes that you couldn't just put your finger on as he smiled at you. he tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear then pecks your temple. "i thought you still wanted to watch movies after this?"

he pulls your chair closer to his and now the only thing separating you two are the chairs. his arm was around your shoulders while you two continued to talk.

"oh i do, but if i fall asleep then you already know." you giggled as you spoke. he shook his head, rolling his eyes, but deep down all he wants is to be around you.
