Another Mr. Weebl Calendar: Day 24

And so we reach the final advent animation! This carries a gag from the previous advent, that being the weird, numerous reindeer outside of the core 8 (plus that one guy with the red nose that needs licensing to mention). There's a lot of visual gags here that I like, including Barney (with a hairdo like the Flintstones character), Weetabix (who has a head that's just a clump of the cereal), and Charles Xavier. There's even one with an eagle head from the live eagles video! And one with the head of the Scotch Egg from that one Weebl animation! Quite a cornucopia, if I do say so myself. And it ends with Santa fumbling and asking for a do-over on his role call, much to everyone's annoyance. Simple joke, but it's done extremely well. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Another Mr. Weebl Advent Calendar: Day 23

This is a very simple one, but not necessarily a bad one. The animation is a looping song about Christmas pudding, mince pies, and a turkey is shown at the end of the verse. There is a good sense of escalation with the puddings and pies increasing in number, and it feels like it came right out of Newgrounds' golden age. You know, back when Adobe still supported Flash and didn't leave it to die in a ditch somewhere. The end even has Weebl say that this is pretty much all there is to it, a video meant to be looped like an old Flash animation. It's what you would call "retro". And sometimes, a little throwback is what we need.

Another Mr. Weebl Advent Calendar: Day 22

Weebl does another live solo for us! Instead of talking about what's in his pants, he now sings "Ding Dong Merrily On High", seeming normal at first. But when he hits the chorus, he holds the note so well that the rest of his body can't keep up as he deflates. At least, that's what I think happened. Did Weebl die? Y'know, it was pretty unclear. But I like how this is stretched out as agonizingly as possible just to get the unnerved laughter out of us as it turns to crying.

I rate this 10 ding-dongs out of 10!

Yes. The day has arrived once more! 21 has graced civilization with its presence again! Look at how it rains down on the... wait... NO! IT'S DESTROYING PUBLIC PROPERTY! OH, WHAT A WORLD! I think I'm gonna be sick.

Just for that error, I shall award this 21 out of 10!
