It's disappointing how many people seem to be forgetting what is going on with Carol textually. Sure, you see a lot of "she's lost her children", but there's so much more than that.

The person who murdered her child - who is, lest we forget, the actual VILLAIN of the piece - has been waging a war against the communities that are all that is left of Carol's world. And let's be real, they're aquaintances. Carol only has one friend, that has been made quite obvious. But when she was waving and pointing and screaming like Cassandra about Whisperers even that friend said "I believe you think you saw 'em". Yes, he's been supportive. Yes, he's tried. But a lot of his supporting her has also included dismissing her. There is fault on both sides.

And Carol has been right. The Whisperers were there when she saw them. They were waging war already. They were an active threat and there was no peace to protect.

She was falling, but she may not have hit the bottom if everyone around her hadn't assumed she was a hysterical grieving woman.

At this point, why should she believe that it isn't all up to her? How is giving up on killing Alpha and instead dying to take out a hord breaking a promise to...give up on killing Alpha and fight for the future? Not hers, but the communities'?

ISTG, if she had a penis, she would be the hero right now, with or without casualties.

Carol will prevail.

My face when I was told that I would NOT be receiving a complimentary slow cooker or toaster oven for my 12th time on the operating table in two years. I just had my permanent DRG stimulator put in.
