Random headcanon but sometimes Miguel bites in his sleep, and he’s bitten Tempest on accident before. Not just a small nip, a full on chomp. She didn’t get paralyzed because he didn’t pump venom into her, but it’s now a rule that he has to wear caps on his fangs when they sleep in the same bed until he learns to control his sleep biting.

People need to stop saying Miguel is so out of character in the movies. He went through immense trauma, which of course is going to have MAJOR impacts on his character. And, other versions of Miguel already exist in the comics, so we can just assume he’s a different version. Plus maybe it was the comic version of him at some point and it just branched off. Maybe one turned into the Miguel in the 2015 comics and the other ended up becoming the one in the movies.

okay let me rephrase this: He’s a different version of the comics, which shouldn’t be considered out of character as it’s not entirely fair. You can still be mad over the comics bending to support the movie characterizations, but you still have to consider him being a different version of the comic character. You can’t really have a character be out of character from previous characterizations if it’s a different version of that character. I’m not really the best at making points clear. But I’m on the edge of it because if they do claim that in the comics he’s the exact same, and not a variant of the original comics, than yes he would definitely be out of character, but until at least I can get a solid answer on that, in my opinion he’s not out of character

I like to think Miguel memorized what Tempest smelled like, and used to just say hello to her without looking anytime she walked in the room. Before Miguel ended up back with Tempest, he spent some of his free time in the future trying to recreate the smell because it brings him comfort

I like the fact that despite Tempest wanted to eat him, Miguel still loved her

I can’t tell if I’m jealous of Tempest or if I feel bad for her having to deal with Miguel purring at night when she spoons him. Imagine you’re laying down with your boyfriend and he just starts purring like a fucking jet engine
