So today finally marked the end of We Are The Series. I think this is till date my favourite light hearted romcom series of GMMTV. It had all the elements and delivered the essence of BL without over doing things and being cringe. And to be honest, being a third year student transitioning to my fourth year now, I could relate to the friendship aspect of the series a lot. The one thing that makes this series stand out among other BLs is the friendship between the boys. The way friendship was portrayed and shown was very beautiful. And the different tropes of couples acted as the cherry on top.
Each couple teaches us something
•Peem & Phum - Love can help you to overcome your insecurities and also give you the strength to recover from your past traumas.
•Q & Toey - Love can help us to find the real us, often helping us to gain the meaning of our life.
•Tan & Fang - Love is almost like a jigsaw puzzle, where each piece of yours fits exactly with your counterparts. And for every introverted person, there exists an extroverted lover.
•Chain & Pun - Crossing the line between friendship and love can be difficult and scary too. But if you don't take the chance, how do you know?
Overall I rate this series a 9.5/10. Can be a very good intro BL for new people.

How do y'all deal with rejection from internships? It was such a huge opportunity and I lost it. It is making me feel very overwhelmed and I don't know how to deal with it 😞

So I finally got the time to watch the 2nd ep of stand in today.
I don't really have a lot to say about this episode except for 2 two things
1. I wanna smack ming so bad every time, I see him making joe sad. Like my boy looked soo broken when Ming called him a stand in. Before starting the series, I used to scroll Tumblr to read the fans view on the each episode, and I kinda used to feel that maybe Ming wasn't soo bad like everyone is making him to be. But man, I was so so wronggggg. I hate him so much, like please make him suffer 100x than joe.
2. I honestly feel Ming didn't deserve to hear that conversation between Sol and Joe. Like nah, that man doesn't deserve this sort of love🙂
Byee, will be back with my random thoughts on ep 3 soon

Just started My Stand In today, and ep 1 only had me shouting every 5 min
1. Joe you don't give free rides to strangers.
2. Ming when someone introduces themself, you should introduce yourself too. That's a basic manners my child 🙂
3. Please close that damn door before doing your deed.
4.Joe you don't sleep with people you meet like 2-3 hours back and invite them to your house too!!!!!! What if Ming was a pyschopath? I am not saying he isn't one though🤡
5. Man if I was talking to someone and they decide mid way to turn their back on me and suddenly say ' I am gonna sleep' while I am talking to them, I wouldn't be soo good like joe to make sure they have blanket around their back too🙂
6.JOEEEEE you don't give your virginity to strangers, you are not even a teenager joeeeee
7. Ming stop being a love sick puppy every time you see tong, I almost wanna smack your head through the screen

Got the closure I was yearning for a long time today.
I have mended thousand scenarios of me in my mind - accepting the truth, the reality. Thought it would shatter me to pieces to finally accept that what I thought on the first day was the truth.
But
It didn't hurt anymore. In fact it lifted the heaviness of my chest. I felt light today after so many months. Like I was not suffocating from the negative thousands growing within me. They all vanished.
And the girl who was drowning in the pool of misery, finally swam across it and stood on the bank, staring at how far she had come.
You did well.

I can kind of see myself in Ray. Not in the way that I am an alcoholic.
But in the way that I was in love with one of my friends, whom I never had the courage to confess.
In the way that all my friends have a person of their own (lover).
In the way that I also crave attention.
In the way that I am also lonely just like him.
But Ray has already met his Sand.
When will I meet mine?

Heyy y'all.
so I finally finished Step by Step yesterday. I have to say that the last two episodes felt a bit rushed. Like for a minute they were finally together and then suddenly came the troubles and issues with the project and the company. I felt that it would have been better if we had a few more episodes. Then the show would have been perfect. So moving on
Plot : The series did a good job in showcasing the development of feelings between the leads. One thing that I really liked a lot was how they didn't sugarcoat a single situation in the series.
(Spoiler alert - Like when the relationship between the leads became a hot topic in the office and how the series showed the cruel part of coming out such as Pat getting weird looks and criticism for wooing his senior in work. Even though he got the Fjord deal due to his capability, he was still blamed for making his way up by seducing his boss. This right here is the reality. People don't always support your office romance. Most of the time, it is plain criticism.)
Characters : I personally was slightly irritated by Pat's character. He was kind of immature which irritated me further. As for Jeng, he really needs to trust Pat with his responsibility. Supervising each and every responsibility given to Pat was kind of disrespect to Pat.
I also loved how each and every character was allowed to shine and were given enough screentime to get their stories known to us viewers. Normally, the side characters don't really get enough screentime and somehow their storyline also fades away during the series. But this was not the case for Step By Step. I loved the way they showed Put trying to rectify his mistakes but realising it's too late for that. I totally loved the ChotKrit storyline. Bruce did such an amazing job. Honestly I could not believe that he was the same villain era Bruce from Lovely Writer.
JaabJen storyline was slightly confusing and also it did not have any ending. So it was kind of a waste. Lets hope that they create a special episode for these two.
Apart from these, all the romantic scenes were too good. The subtle tension and hunger for each other were expressed in an excellent manner. All (ep 10, 12) kisses were done very nicely. Both the characters were equally eager for each other. Not the typical stuff where one lays like a statue while the other awkwardly touches the lips.
So overall, I would give Step by Step 8.5/10.

Honestly, I am very much impressed after watching the Step by Step series. The main thing that i love about it is the slow burn. They slowly developed the feelings between the leads, with a subtle hint of issues that we face in our daily office life as well as in any relation. Currently, I am at ep 10. Two more to go. Then I will be back with a thorough review.

Am i frustrated? Yes
I mean godddd, how can they end the episode like that? We still couldn't get the confession!! I thought this was it😑😑. Ufff....I wanna smack Win so hard right now. Like come on dude, you don't have any right to ask Team to man up when you yourself couldn't 🙂.
And whats with my dude Win's dark circle. Man looks like he hasn't slept for a decade.
