YES! Jess wasn't ready for a healthy relationship (which he had zero experience with) which is why when shit hit the fan in S3, he didn't know how to handle it. In S4, he still wasn't ready. He was sincerely sorry, really trying, and wanted to be THAT guy for Rory... But he wasn't there yet. S6 Jess on the other hand had clearly figured some of his crap out! If they'd gotten back together in S6 or later, they'd be happily married by now.

I’m literati as hell, but as someone who has dated guys like Jess in real life, the abandonment trauma, lack of communication, moodiness, authority issues, past hurt… you cannot love them better. Seriously, they need to work on themselves and go to therapy. It’s so incredibly painful and traumatic and abusive on the other side too. So, I never blame Rory for not taking Jess back when he comes back. It’s so much more complicated in real life. Which is why I’m constantly in my heart, gushing about his development and growth. It takes a lot of self reflection to become that

I can agree, to an extent, on Dean being over-hated. I have my issues with Dean (breaking up with Rory because she wasn't ready to say I-love-you, for example) but until Season 4 I didn't hate him. I liked Dean in the beginning and, for the most part, he was a good boyfriend to Rory. He pissed me off in S3 but I still didn't hate him. THEN came S4... The amount of absolute disgust I have for S4 Dean is only comparable to my feelings towards S5 Dean.

I enjoyed his cameo in AYITL though. It was pure nostalgia and it looked like Dean had finally, actually, moved on.

THIS! And I loved how in S3, when Lorelai had to sleep over because of the fire, Jess no longer needed the music. Meaning that living with Luke, he finally felt safe 🥰.

In Life with Luca, Derek and Casey walk in on Luca and Skye in a compromising position that LOOKS bad but is totally innocent. They freak out but the kids act like it's no big deal because, like I said, it was totally innocent plus they question why their parents are freaking out in the first place.

Derek and Casey remember all the times THEY were in compromising positions that their parents walked in on, and the ones they didn't (Season 1 bathroom scene anyone?), and imagine what it must've looked like... And then they get all awkward and adorable 😍

Can I just comment on how much I love the relationship between Karev and Robbins? Their friendship is subtle but sweet. That teacher-student bond is just beautiful.

I'm at S10 when Alex takes the job at the private practice. Arizona tells him how proud she is and I completely melted!

I hate George/Izzie as a *gag* romantic coupling. It was so cringe-y and hard to watch!

What was wrong with their initial brother/sister relationship? Guys and girls can be just friends, it's not unheard of or impossible! When Callie suggested that Izzie had feelings for George, I laughed and said she was crazy. Then the writers went and made it happen, why? It was terrible! There was suddenly unbelievable sexual tension where there hadn't been any. It was stupid and unnecessary!

They were best friends and they should have stayed that way!!!

I love her, and the writers did her dirty! That exit... 🤬 What were they thinking?! She was part of the original group. Plus, we all loved Iz and after all that we went through with her (Denny, cancer, etc.) we deserved better. Killing her off would've been preferable! What the f--- kind of exit was that?!

I will never be okay.

George will always be one of my favorite characters. He was the adorable nervous guy, that grew into a badass! He was incredibly flawed, mostly toward the women in his life. He loved his family! He was there for his friends. And he threw himself in front of a BUS to save the life of a complete stranger... Such a George-thing to do. His departure (I can't say it) murdered my heart and I'm so grateful the show didn't just forget him and act like he never existed.
