कबीर परमेश्वर ने कहा है कि यदि एक छोटे पत्थर (देव की प्रतिमा) के पूजने से परमात्मा प्राप्ति होती हो तो मैं तो पहाड़ की पूजा कर लूँ ताकि शीघ्र मोक्ष मिले। परंतु यह मूर्ति पूजा व्यर्थ है।

इस (मूर्ति वाले पत्थर) से तो घर में रखी आटा पीसने वाली पत्थर की चक्की भी लाभदायक है जिससे कणक पीसकर आटा बनाकर सब भोजन बनाकर खा रहे हैं।
