'Tron', 1982 Spent some unnecessary time capturing images from my re-watch of 'Tron' (which I haven't seen since its theatrical release) to provide you, dear reader, with an aesthetic flavor of the production design. You can see why said aesthetic is the genetic progenitor of the synthwave style. Enjoy.

18 in Dungeon's "The 30 Greatest D&D Adventures of All Time" is 1980's "The Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan" by Harold Johnson and Jeff R. Leason. Originally created as an Origins '79 tournament module, "Tamoachan" is the first in the C series of modules ("C" stands for competitive) and includes pre-generated characters and a scoring system to track how well players explore the Mayan and Aztec inspired location while attempting to avoid its many dangers (not to mention poisonous gas that deals damage hourly). A not-so-hidden AD&D gem… on Map Monday aka Dungeon Day!!
