“So, you’re telling me that there wasn’t a dog inside the hospital?” Addison’s tone was light and playful as she walked beside Meredith. Meredith laughed, and Addison couldn’t help but smile in return. There was something charming about Meredith’s laughter. Now that Addison thought about it, she couldn’t recall ever hearing it. “Yep. There wasn’t a dog inside the hospital, Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd.” Addison noticed how her green eyes crinkled, how her lips upturned in what Addison could only describe as reserved. Maybe it was the rarity of this sighting that gave her a hit of serotonin, but Addison wanted to see more of it—she wasn’t sure why, but all she could hope for was that the young heart Derek broke could heal sooner so Meredith could smile like this more. “Sooo…” Addison drawled, looking at the path, the few objects of greenery, and the Doc who was happily strutting along before turning to look at Meredith. “Why was the not-dog in the hospital? Hypothetically speaking, of course.” Meredith was quiet. Her brow furrowed. She was contemplating. Addison noticed certain quirks about the interns and for some reason, she remembered the little furrow between Meredith’s brows being an indicator that she was thinking. Maybe it was because Addison did the same thing. Then, it dawned on her—they weren’t close, they weren’t even friends. Did her question cross the line? “Hypothetically speaking, the not-dog was brought to the hospital because there was no one in the house who could look after him. So, there wasn’t much of a choice.” Meredith shrugged before a sigh falling from her lips. Her head lifted, meeting Addison’s gaze head on. “And well, the not-dog might not even be mine soon.”

There was the faint scent of Addison’s perfume that enshrouded Meredith Grey as she hungrily licked into Addison’s mouth. She tasted wine on her tongue, felt a shudder running along the small of her back. Hands ran through Addison’s red hair, tangling and tugging at it until that meticulously put together bun of hers came undone. Meredith could feel the pulse of Addison’s lips between her teeth and that only ignited a flame, causing her to surge forward, pressing her lithe frame firmly on top of the redhead’s. Addison’s moans vibrated against her mouth and the desire to tame, to claim only burned brighter. Pushing a knee between her legs, she felt Addison tremble. By daytime, she was a world class surgeon-- but in this moment, she was an outlet for her to channel her frustrations. Addison’s hips buckled against her, as if searching for friction but Meredith took delight in denying her. Seeing Addison so powerless and be at her mercy intoxicated the surgical intern. Pulling the knee in between the other doctor’s legs away, she gripped and pressed Addison’s hips down against the flannel sheets. Meredith was rough with her touch, her deft fingers most definitely intended to bruise that perfectly, soft, and flawless ivory skin of Addison Montgomery.

nerys, miles, Julian, and jadzia being turned into their childhood self

me thinking abt how much anxiety julian and jadzia must be having because julian being augmented and jadzia saying that before joining she was the shyest. and I just think about how much anxiety dax might have even though she's still joined but just in her kid body.

then there's julian who would inevitably be so incredibly vigilant, self deprecating, and just disillusioned in some way. because being back in Jules body but not being Jules?? God I can't imagine the dysphoria and/or dysmorphia he would feel (esp if we write him as trans)

then miles. oh in some ways I just like the poetic nod back towards tng but also I love the idea of an incredibly tired, almost jaded, and disillusioned officer finding things he loved in his childhood and really rekindling that. miles is so depressed and has ptsd, so it'd be hard for him as a father, a chief engineer, etc etc to really think abt his past before he became all that

and this ties in neatly with kira nerys. not sure how many people read the terok nor series but I do recommend it! kira as a kid is someone who feels a lot. she's a big softie but also just a kid who tumbles about. but bc of the occupation she's almost told to stop crying when something bad happens. like this was a girl who cried in the books over killing a collaborator! I feel like she and ro's are in the ep would have a lot of overlap but the difference between kira and ro is that kira doesn't shy away from her feelings.

and I just wonder if being a child again would make her more sensitive from the things she's walled off of.

idk I just like the idea of these ppl reclaiming a childhood lost / rekindling their unadulterated love for things
