I am considering leaving Tumblr. I am not being helpful to people with my tips, and it may be a distraction I don't need. So I will let you know soon.

Good morning, my studyblr buddies.
These past few days I have made a study space make over. I bought a tiny desk to put my computer on and to have more space for pens, post-it notes and so on.
I have my finals starting next week and, hopefully, I will be finished by June or July.
I will try to keep you posted about what has been working for my memory and to pass my exams.
Tips of the day 🪄🧠✨
Put your phone in another room with a time study tracking app. This will help you to not feel the urgent need to check it. Turn off all notifications and set a focus mode where you only receive important calls from loved ones.
Read the headings of every chapter before getting into it. This will allow you to have an overview of what it will be about.
Use books as a reliable source of information, not just internet. I am a ferocious defender of books. They go through a tough process of peer reviewing and you will have contrasted and accurate information.
If you still have doubts or do not understand something, find other sources like Amboss (for Medicine) or any youtube video of the topic. If that does not help, ask your tutor.
Be organized with your notes, stationary material and just have in your desk what you will be using during your study session.
Stay hydrated with water, teas and limit your coffee consumption for when it is necessary.
Trade spaces when you feel overwhelmed. Go to a tea shop or anywhere you feel like focusing more or changing the ambient.
Stay positive and believe in yourself, even when no one else does. Your opinion is the only one that counts because you are the only one who knows how hard it is. Celebrate small steps and victories!
Have a blessed and productive weekend! And remember to rest and have breaks 🏋🏽‍♀️🫂❤️🎊🧘🏽‍♀️

Day 48th of 100 productivity challenge
· When aesthetic is not the norm...
Sometimes I find myself trapped into putting a lot of effort in making my study space so 'romantic'. I find it useful sometimes to feel more likely to sit down and study.
However, apart from the fact that having a clean, well ventilated and organized space is good for the mind, I believe that sometimes it might be too much. So in honor to be real, here is the reality of my "chaos" desk and the beauty of the beginning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tip of the day ✨🪄🧠📖
I think you should make an index of complex topics you need to have an overview of different terms and facts. I use notion for this.
Make a list of all the topics of each subject that you need to study. Be honest about your current understanding and the final result of your study hours. I use notion for this too.
Keep track of the study hours you actually work and focus. I use the YPT app. Feel free to join me in my study group. Nombre del grupo - SSMedicine👩🏽‍⚕️ Enlace de invitación: https://link.yeolpumta.com/P3R5cGU9Z3JvdXBJbnZpdGUmaWQ9MzQxMzkyNQ==
Have a blessed, organized and productive day. 🫰🏽🫂

About Saturday night and Sunday (fun-day)
I studied three hours and a half of Urology. It was a hard topic and I had to check my anatomy notes to understand better the surgical procedures.
I went to bed very late and somehow I woke up energetic so I studied 2 hours in the morning, I had my study coaching group Zoom call and after that, I went out with my fiancé and our friends. It was so much fun, I recharged my motivation and I am already looking forward to this summer.
Today I am planning to finish two chapters of Urology and one chapter of Neurophysiology. As you can see I use the Forest app for my pomodoro of 60'-10'.
This will be the schedule:
12:00-15:00 Block A: Urology
Lunch break and power nap (if necessary)
16:00-19:00 Block B: Neurophysiology
Exercise + Dinner + Leisure time with my fiancé
20:30-22:00 Block C: revise flashcards
Night routine + bed time.
Have a blessed and productive Sunday Iveth🌻

Good morning, StudyBlr community! These past two days I have been proudly focus. I managed to go to the library for one afternoon study session. I was a library person a few years ago, but now I recall information out loud and obviously that is not possible at a quiet study space. I study better alone and at home. Yesterday and the previous day I have been studying through Skype with my friend and it has been helpful for both. We have used the pomodoro and silenced the microphone, and a few minutes of break to catch up. Finding a study buddy that you can rely on is awesome.
Today's study tips 🧠🪄📖
Prepare time blocks knowing you chronotype and how energized you feel and the times when you are more productive.
Find a study buddy for home study sessions. If you do not have a friend you can use this app: https://app.studytogether.com/ and study with people from all over the world.
Have a sheet of paper to one side if some thought or idea pops up and you lose focus.
Have a blessed, productive and beautiful day ✨🌞

Good morning, StudyBlrs. EXAM DAY: I woke up early today to revise some questions that might be asked in my surgery exam. I go to classes and I try to understand what the teacher is focusing on more. I always ask questions. I will let you know how it went.
I had no coffee today because I have noticed that on exam days I already have my adrenaline and energy up. So, I had a cup of tea and my banana for snack two hours after my proper breakfast. @studywith-hada made this cool study with me video and I have used it today. So cool.
TODAY: I decided to start my day with Neurophysiology. I made a three tasks list and I will be using (as usual) my Korean study tracking. Let's do this!

Have a blessed and productive week! :) Iveth🌻

Buenos días :)
Good morning, studyblr community.
Last night I studied four hours. I'm reviewing essay questions from past years for my exam on Monday. It is a surgery exam with test and essay or clinic cases questions. I'm going back soon to the north of Spain, to Santander, which is where I live and study Medicine. I'm going to miss my family and especially my mother.
Today's tips 🧠🪄📖🫰🏽:
Review questions from previous years at least three or four days before the exam. 📆
Do them with a stopwatch as if it were already exam day. That will prepare you up and make you see where you are failing and how long it takes you to write down your ideas. 🧠⏰
On the day of the exam: read the test questions carefully and take a scrap paper to write the three ideas of each essay question and then put them in order in your final answer. 📝
I'll keep you updated after Monday about how it went. Wish me luck. Sending you a massive hug and much courage, amigxs! We can do this!
¡Vamos a hacerlo bien!

Good morning, StudyBlr community!
Some of you have been asking about time management and my study schedule. I have made an infographic with my latest study time. I will explain a bit down here. This schedule is for when I have no classes or any pending university activity. 📖🧠🪄📆⏰
7:00-8:00 Exercise or just going for a walk for natural light exposure. Then have a healthy breakfast (fruits, protein and at least for me COFFEE or matcha)
8:00-13:30 Pomodoro I of 50:10. I use time blocking and the pomodoro technique. The first one allows me to set an intention and goals per block of time. The pomodoro I use is 50 minutes of focused work and 10 minutes of relax (getting up, stretching or just talking to a friend for that amount of time)
13:30 Lunch and sometimes a power nap max. of 20 minutes.
15:00-19:00 Pomodoro II of 50:10.
19:00-21:00 Leisure time with my partner and family. Talk about our days and have dinner.
21:00-22:00 Revise some flashcards before bedtime and also I check at least one of the lectures coming up.
I never stay up late studying unless I am overwhelmed and stressed. I take my sleep hygiene super serious and I sleep 7-8 hours.
How about you? How do you plan your long study days?
Sending you a warm hug. Stay blessed and efficient! I believe in you, I believe we can thrive!

Day 32/100 efficient productivity challenge
It is always good to be back to my other home: the beautiful island of Mallorca. I feel blessed to be able to relax with my family and to study peacefully at my desk.
Something I have realized these days is my need of disconnection from social media. I normally use Tumblr just for tracking my study process and to share with you useful study tips. But oh my! I love watching videos of spoken poetry, food recipes and study-grams.
However, the last four days have been fun, recharging and also I have slept better compared to the previous months.
Being with the family makes it easier. Although I have my family where I study, I feel that my heart is in so many places.
Tips of the day 🪄🧠📖 :
Study and reward yourself with quality time with your family and/or friends.
Have power naps of twenty minutes or thirty is you need them.
Try to revise your flashcards in the first study session.
Stay blessed, cheerful and hard-working. 🌻 Iveth.
Mantente bendecido, alegre y trabajador. 🌻Iveth.

Good morning! I had the results of my radiology exam and despite all the efforts I did not pass. So, as you can see, sometimes things do not go the way we plan or think. Thankfully I can retake the exam in June.
I managed to pick myself up and dust all the negative feelings. But, I have to admit it was hard.
I am trying to understand how to study better and be more efficient. However it is not easy.
Apart from that, I am enjoying the process of understanding and letting go of passive study methods I have used in the past.
How about you? Sending you much love and courage 🫰🏽🫂📖🧠

Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had an exam on Tuesday. I have improved my memory skills. It was easier to recall some facts and information. We will see the mark next week.
I found summary sheets helpful to study Radiology -apart from the images and the flashcards.
My next exam is Neurophysiology, and I need to focus and pass this test. I might not be able to post.
I hope you are doing well.
Bon courage à toi!

6 study tips 🧠🪄 (for when you feel overwhelmed)
Tumblr media
ENGLISH
Good morning, everyone!
I made this infographic to share six tips I have used when I felt overwhelmed. Sometimes, dealing with our emotions is difficult during exam season. And to be honest, it is something I struggle with.
✨🪄 Six useful study hacks:
Plan your day. I do this the night before. It helps your brain to structure a routine.
Time blocking. It has worked a lot lately. Set blocks of 1-2 hours or 3-4 based on the topic.
Set realistic goals. Your objectives have to be reasonable for each study session. Chunk the to-do list into smaller steps.
Exercise. It does not have to be as intense as going to a gym class. Maybe some push-ups or just going for a quick walk around the block.
Distractions sheet of paper. This helps a lot with negative thoughts or recurrent ideas. You just dump them into the paper and let go of them. Then you refocus on your study session.
Breathing exercises. The most helpful one. You can do it before and after the study session, or when you feel like you need it. Humming and breathing keep your mind engaged with the rhythm of your body.
Much love. Mucho amor. Iveth 🌻

Day 12-13/100 efficient productivity challenge
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Good morning! Yesterday I studied for three hours in the morning. After lunch, I made some previous exam questions. It was productive, but in the back of my mind, I thought it was not enough time. However, it was efficient.
My partner and I had planned to go to a concert with our friends, whom I had not seen since November. I felt guilty about going out, but I managed that feeling. I was able to enjoy the music and the company.
Tumblr media
This morning, I did some flashcards reviewing time. And I plan to study all day because I have an exam next week.
Tips of the day 🪄✨
Life is short. Enjoy the moments with your family and friends. It helps a lot with recharging your mental energy. 🧘🏽‍♀️🧠
When a topic is complicated, make chunked and easy questions about it. 📖✅
I hope my tips are helping you. Have a blessed day!

10/100 days of efficient productivity challenge
On planning and other things. My academic journey has been long and bumpy since I started university. Something I have struggled with is realistic planning. I have tried a bunch of methods, and the ones that worked for me are:
Time blocking. It is necessary to keep in mind that energy fluctuates throughout the day.
Set small goals. It is preferable to manage one or two tasks in each study session.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Weekly planning is also working for me. I tend to set many goals, but I am working on it, which is why I use the to-do list.
How do you manage your study time and leisure days?
Have a blessed day.
