I need to get better at group shots and rendering, so how’s about a chaotic party scene with special effects, multiple light sources, and a variety of different materials?

A while ago I started this piece to try and nail down how I want to draw SWK and show off the differences with him and MK. I never got around to finishing it. I still like the overall vibe, and I want to try again, but sometimes improving your art is knowing when to stop and walk away.

I’ll try something similar again someday, until then, enjoy my first attempt at drawing the kiddo with one of his many dads

Had an idea for one of my favorite underrated Pokémon getting an alternate evolution. I love Purrugly, and I wanted it to have a more outgoing, loud personality, like a friendly stray cat that loves to yowl and serenade people.

I know it’s a strange sequence to pull happier heartfelt inspiration from, but I couldn’t get the idea of Wukong wrapped around a little MK out of my head.
