Watching my first watch through of SPN ever. I’m on season 9 and as someone who has been on tumblr since ancient times but didn’t actually get in to it, I think everyone DOWNPLAYED how crazy Destiel is. How did veterans survive that….. It’s just. What. What am I watching. Why does Deans voice get SOFT when he talks to Cas particularly??? Why did Dean ditch Sam to watch Cas at the supermarket???? I think because of the meme I was convinced it was cas who was the one obviously in love but. No. It’s Dean. And it’s embarrassing for him. This is crazy but Destiel fans weren’t crazy y’all were on to something all this time…..

Castiel looks between the small, fluffy creature in his arms and his boyfriend, resolute, arms crossed.

“She’s scared,” he says.

“We’re all scared, Cas. No. I’m allergic, anyway.”

“You know that isn’t true, and you have to know that I know that isn’t true.”

The lady at the adoption booth eyes them both and says, “It’s just what guys say when they don’t want a cat.”

Dean looks caught, she shrugs.

“Dean,” Cas whispers. “Her soul is the same shade of green as your eyes. She was once a Celtic warrior woman in ancient Britannia. She was at Hadrian’s wall. Her favorite food is Friskies fish paté. I love her.”

“Cas…” Cas can hear the shift in Dean’s voice, he knows he’s won.

“Her name is Aoife. You’re going to love each other very much.”

“Goddamnit, Cas.” Dean looks into the wide green eyes of the little creature and sighs.

Twenty minutes later they leave with a cat tree, litter box, bag full of toys, 10 cans of Friskies fish paté… and Aoife.

Hc that sam had his first sleepover at 12 (after john rented out an actual home for 6+ months). 17 yr old dean got him ready and everything and walked him to the house. Sam called first thing the next morning to get picked up. He wont admit it but he had a nightmare and hated sleeping so far away from his brother :(
