Somehow, in the last 18 months, I’ve written over 1 million words (yes. six zeros. no, I’m not okay) AND received 11k+ kudos from you chaotic, wonderful, emotionally unstable creatures 💖

Mostly for JJK fics, because apparently my coping mechanism for the Gojo situation is… writing him into every possible timeline until I can live with the consequences. (Spoiler: I cannot.)

Heavily inspired by the Nine-Tailed Fox Spirit AU, except Spices is a mere fox spirit not yet reaching the "human-like" stage. Also, this drawing was totally an attempt at healing the angst from that Higuruma what-if description- though I'm not sure it's working 😭😭

I think I watched the first season and a of season 2, but I honestly don’t remember exactly where I left off. I was watching it on the Muse YouTube channel, and then they took it down, so now I’m just lost 🥲

I actually started AOT after some readers said Spices gives off major Hange energy (which I now 100% see). I really liked it, but the emotional damage?? Even worse than JJK. My heart did not sign up for that.

Still, I adore the Hange-Levi dynamic, so who knows, maybe I’ll pick it back up one day. And if I do, there’s a decent chance I’ll end up writing something for them. No promises… but also, no denials 👀

As for your question, here’s a tiny spoiler: In a future chapter of Divine Ruination, Spices asks Gojo to switch roles in their next life. Since he’s always been the one protecting her in this one, she tells him that next time, she’ll be the stronger one and she’ll protect him instead.

That next life is what Peace Was Never an Option is all about! It’s a fun alternate-universe rom-com with no tragedy and no convoluted plot (we’ve had plenty of that already 🤭). But there will be a situation where she has to protect him, thus, fulfilling the promise she made. I’m aiming to keep it short and sweet—around 30k words—and we won’t be diving into the Sukuna backstory here. That’s getting its own separate fic down the line!
