bruce wayne

sleeps like the dead, position wise. arms by side, on back, no snoring. if you're with him, he'll accommodate your body with him more comfortably than that. he's a very light sleeper. most nights he opts out of sleep altogether, so you find him asleep at the barometer midday.

is definitely a bed hog. and a sheets hog. he will kick you if you don't give him the warm covers that he wants, ruthlessly, even in his sleep. and it hurts because he's like a professional fighter. he probably talks in his sleep. little things that make no sense like "hey, i'm trying to run a business here" and "what do you mean, batman is so not bruce wayne, why would you ever even say that?" (you giggle every time, he's so funny).

jason todd

hogs the bed by accident. if you hit him to make him give you more room, he'll mumble a sleepy "sorry" and move over, moving you on top of him for his and yourself's comfort. he didn't want to sleep in bed with you for the longest time, afraid he'd wake up from a nightmare and hurt you or disturb you. he's getting better and trying for you.

is no stranger to age gaps (he's dated lots of women with lots of ages). to him, it doesn't matter whatsoever. he'll be concerned about being public at first, since he doesn't want you getting involved with wayne enterprise affairs and to be on gotham gazette headlines (or involved with any of batman's altercations), but he comes around to it once he realises that you can handle it.

has absolutely no shame. sure, he's not that old, but you'd just graduated high school and he was already in his mid 20s. but why should be be ashamed of who he loves just because they're a little younger than him? the pros outweigh the cons for him. he loves telling people all about his girlfriend, even if he doesn't mention the age that much. he just really likes you for you, and that's why your age is no issue for him.

didn't even know if he wanted to date you at first. he didn't know what the feeling was that he felt whenever you came a little too close, or how you laughed, and how pretty you were on any day of the week. but roy was telling him all about how his new girlfriend made him feel and that was when he had a gradual realization as to what he's feeling really means. he denied himself the pleasure of asking you out at first because he knew you were way younger, so he didn't want to send you running.

he did eventually, and he was so relieved when you said you liked him the same as you did and just didn't say anything because you thought he wouldn't go for age gaps, that just seems like the kind of person he wasn't. when dating, he isn't ashamed of you to the public. he does get a little jittery when you ask to meet his family, though, since they were all so nosy and they were the send-you-running type he was oh-so afraid of. (spoiler: they didn't + they were sweet)

had known the feeling all too well. he'd had lots of crushes before. bruce is worried, though, because most of his other relationships ended in some sort of crazy plot twist and he couldn't handle that again. plus, he was driving himself crazy worrying.

will they not like me after they spend more than a day with me at a time? will they break up with me when they see all the kids? how can i tell them i'm batman?

he got over it though when his eldest son, dick, hit him on the back and encouraged him. "bruce, you can't keep waiting around. if you want something, you have to get it before it's gone, okay?"

so, then he wasn't so afraid of having his little crush anymore.

could've asked you out a loooong time ago. he has the confidence. he has the looks. he was a fan favorite in all of gotham. so why hadn't you? well, he wasn't sure if you'd go for someone like him. he didn't know of your past relationships, let alone if you'd had any. so that's how he talked himself out of it.

it was only when he caught himself giggling at your texts to him at 3 a.m. when he realized that he was down bad. he needed to confess to you. if he didn't, he'd be stuck pining after you and laughing at your texts like a hormonal teenager for the rest of his sad, sad life.

didn't really understand the feeling at first. he didn't get exposed to crushes and those sorts of things as a child because he didn't have the luxury of elementary school. then, he spent most of his teenage to young adult years.. well.. dead, so... it's not like he could have been dating anyone then.

that's why he was so confused and nervous. why doesn't talking to you feel like anyone else? why does he mentally scold himself after every conversation for every stupid thing he said.

he realized he had to confess to you on one of the occasions he made you smile. he realized that he wanted to do it over again a million more times, because he wanted to be the one to make you smile and laugh. he wanted to be there for you while you slept, or were sad, or scared. damn.. he really likes you.

tim drake

was no stranger to crushes. he'd always been the type to look at someone and crush on them for years, never say anything, and then it goes away when he realizes that it's never gonna work out. that's what his crush was like, pining after you.

he just automatically assumed that every person he'd like would never even consider dating him. it was weird, because he's a good looking guy and there's no reason for him to think like that.

he realized that he needed to confess to you when he found himself accidentally stalking your instagram so hard he hit the first post you ever made. also, jason called him out for it in front of damian and damian is mean so he got embarrassed and flustered and decided that it wouldn't be so bad if he actually did say something to you.

would notice right away. he wouldn't waste a single second, figuring out the source of the issue and putting a stop to it.

"that a little better now?" he'll ask, turning off the light, the fan, and walking into tim and damian's rooms to get them to shut up. whatever made his baby happy.

richard grayson

would think it's his fault. he would do whatever you asked him to do. turn the tv off? you didn't even have to ask. the light's too bright? who even let that light be installed in the first place.

"sorry i talked your ear off earlier..." he would mumble solumnly, and he would only get done sulking after you told him it wasn't his fault.

completely understands that, and is likely already feeling the same way as you. he already knew what to do, seeing as he'd been wanting to do it himself for an hour prior.

the only reason he hadn't done it earlier was because he wasn't sure if you wanted him to and he didn't know what would be okay. he always worried about what was okay with you, after all.

tim drake

didn't completely understand the first time it happened. he was cooperative, though. if you didn't want to be touched, he would be a little sad at first, but he wouldn't be upset with you.

"screen's too bright? so sorry, y/n, i'll put it away." he's always incredibly eager to please you, so he begs you to tell him the second he does something wrong to air on the side of caution.

damian wayne

wouldn't care if you were anyone else. having shared a house with a few people like you for the duration of his teenage years (post 10 years old, really..), he was already doing everything he could to get the dog to stop yapping at you.

"titus, cut the bull, y/n isn't in the mood for this right now." he says, gently kicking the large dog's back leg out the back door. he didn't talk much after the dog was out, and made sure not to touch you unless you told him it was okay.

wasn't sure which ones you wanted so i did like the main 5 (sorry i can't write duke yet i'll learn + the other ones) damian and tim are aged up btw if it wasn't implied anywhere else (but aged regularly in bruce's for plot convenience)

wants to freak the flip out, but at the same time, he loved kids and he'd been through that like twice already so he kinda knew what to do and expect. he was just worried for you and what that meant for your body and how you would feel afterwards. about everything else, he wasn’t worried about that. of course he had all of that covered.

dick grayson

lifted you into the air and kissed you a million times on your face. he was overjoyed. he couldn’t wait to have his own little baby and give them the childhood they wanted to have. he was so excited about the thought that he squealed like a girl for 20 minutes and then helped you make every single appointment you had to make.

was worried. he didn’t know what that meant for you guys, or how you would handle it. he did want to try, though, even if the road would be rough. he made sure to spend the whole rest of the night reassuring you that he would do his best as a father and wouldn’t let your kid down.

what to do when dinner

one week later…

you and jason had been.. weird lately. usually, it would be him making fun of your little grammar mistakes, or you making fun of how he talks, or you being absolutely and utterly afraid of him most of the time. that was the normal you.

he hasn’t made fun of you in a good week. when did it change? when you called him for a ride? why would that even change anything. maybe it wasn’t, and you were just looking into something that didn’t have to be looked into like you always did when there was even the littlest thing you didn’t understand.

either way, tonight, you’re on dinner duty. that would be great and all, but… you don’t have any food. it was your turn to shop for groceries, but you hadn’t because you had been so busy and broke lately that none of that was even an option. you stared into the empty fridge with a frown.

you looked around. jason was sitting comfortably on the couch. “don’t hear any movement in there, what’s the holdup?” he asked. he said it in a stern way, but you knew he was only joking.

“uhh.. funny story… no food?’ you said, quizzically even though you knew exactly what you were talking about.

you heard a sigh, but then clothed footsteps padding towards you in your aid. he was always very heavy-footed, so you always knew when he was coming to you. it was a weird way to think, but he really had always been doing that ever since his death and moving in with you.

his death.. such a heavy topic. you knew he could joke about it now, but you also knew how much it must hurt him to talk about something so serious so casually. he must be such a strong man, to be okay with going through  all that stuff and still having some kind of normalcy in his life.

“what do you mean no food? there’s literally frozen pizza right there.” he pointed out, opening the freezer door. you grumbled a little. you mumbled and groaned about it as you took the box out of the freezer.

“urghhh, but i don’t even like this kind, it’s like all sauce, it’s nasty..” you said dramatically. jason rolled his eyes, but he wasn’t planning on forcing you to eat something you didn’t want. he knew you weren’t typically picky, so if this was bad enough for you to groan about, it must be up there on your top hated foods. 

he put your movements to a halt with a hand on the box. he took it from your fingers and threw it away. “oh.. okay, that’s one way to make me starve..” you said lightheartedly. you figured he must have a plan because no-plan jason wouldn’t ever pass up on pizza, even the gross, all-sauce, frozen one. 

“no, don’t be like that, what about bagel pizzas?” he asked. so clever. leave it up to the guy that had to scramble for food to come up with pleasing suggestions. you nodded, ready to help. you got out everything that was needed; bagels, sauce (the bad kind from a can but its still better than the bad kind from the freezer), and shredded cheese. 

jason’s muscles got to work when he brought out the toaster oven. you guys haven’t used that like.. ever. “okay, you know what you’re doing now, cupcake?” he used the nickname mockingly rather than nicely, as per usual. you agreed because it was your turn to make dinner, anyways. jason was so innovative.

the ingredients needed were basically the last of what you had left, unless you consider three-day-old fast food leftovers from your outings with your best friend, dick, good food. you tried your best to make it as good as possible. 

you messed up the sauce on one of the bagels slightly, putting significantly too little on it. you gave jason the good one. your brain figured that he deserved it after his bright ideas and quick thinking saved the night and since he didn’t let you starve. safe to say, you both ate nice fulfilling bagel meals for dinner that night.

likes when you're realllly close. he has to keep the door locked so the younger kids (tim and damian) don't walk in and make fun of you. he likes it when you have a leg wrapped around his legs, preferably when he's shirtless so you feel even closer.

likes when you're practically lay on on top of him with your face smooshed into his neck. he likes when he can feel every breath you take because he can feel that you're there that way.

jason todd

didn't even like cuddling while sleeping for the first eight months of your relationship. you waited patiently until he was okay with him touching you while he was sleeping, and over time, he gradually got used to it. it started with a gentle arm draped over his body to ease him in, but it turned into you sleeping with his arm as a pillow and all other limbs tangled together for security.
